The bonding between the Congress and the TDP is becoming stronger. During his spare time, AICC President Rahul Gandhi made a casual visit to AP Bhavan canteen. TDP senior leader Kambhampati Rammohan accompanied him. Rahul’s visit became a point of discussion in Delhi political circles.
Rahul Gandhi is coming to AP this week. He will take part in the Congress party’s Special Status Bharosa Yatra in Tirupati on February 22. It may be recalled AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has been extending all possible support to the Congress high command to counter the Modi-Shah duo. It was Naidu’s total attack on Modi with regard to crushing of central institutions that brought spotlight on the BJP government’s excesses.
The TDP government in AP is extending all support to Rahul Gandhi’s public meetings in AP. A greater coordination is expected in the coming weeks. TDP is expected to enter a tie-up with Congress only for the parliamentary seats but there will be no alliance for assembly elections.
