Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his comeback with Khaidi No 150 which will hit the screens during Sankranthi next year. The movie surprised everyone with a massive pre-release business and Khaidi No 150 has been sold out in all the territories. Even the satellite rights of Khaidi No 150 have been sold out for a record breaking price of Rs 13 crores. The Nizam rights of Khaidi No 150 have been acquired by leading distributors Asian Films. However the inside story is completely different.
Charan quoted massive figures for Nizam area after which many leading distributors backed out from the deal. With nothing much to do, Charan decided to release the film on his own however he used the name of Asian Films. Though he first thought, Geetha Arts will release the movie in Nizam, the real secret will be revealed because of which Khaidi No 150 will release through Asian Films in Nizam. VV Vinayak directed the movie and keeping the remunerations of Chiru and Vinayak aside, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 35 crores.
Collecting Rs 50 crores is quite simple for Megastar’s film and Sankranthi season will be a huge advantage. If the film impresses the audience, Khaidi No 150 can easily touch Rs 70 crore mark which will leave Charan in heaps of profits. Charan’s master plan for Khaidi No 150 looks like the young actor’s debut production is all set to earn big.
