After Sankranthi, Summer and Dussehra, many filmmakers target long weekends so that their films rake huge figures during the holidays. Now with Independence Day weekend heading soon, many films are being lined up for release. Many filmmakers stepped out with official announcement about the release dates. Boyapati Srinu’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka will hit the screens on August 11th during the holiday weekend. Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal played the lead roles. Nithiin’s next film Lie too has been aimed for release on the same day. Hanu Raghavapudi is the director and 14 Reels Entertainments produced the movie.
Rana Daggubati is aiming high with Nene Raju Nene Mantri which wrapped up shoot. Directed by Teja, Kajal and Catherine played the female leads. The makers initially wanted to release the film on August 11th however the movie will now hit the screens on August 4th to avoid clash with the releasing films. Sai Dharamtej too wrapped up his next film Jawan directed by BVS Ravi. With back to back debacles, Jawan is a crucial film for the actor and the movie’s release has been delayed by a week. Jawan will release on August 18th which will get a comfortable release. Krishna produced the movie and Dil Raju is presenting Jawan.
