Happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is paired up with young Tollywood sensation Vijay Devarakonda for the second time. After impressing audience with their cracking on-screen chemistry in Geetha Govindham, the duo is set for an encore in Dear Comrade which is hitting the screens this Summer.
The first teaser of Dear Comrade was unveiled a few days ago and the steamy lip-lock between the lead pair has become a talking point among everyone. Critics felt that the makers are trying to grab the attention of youth audience and opined this as the reason why lip-lock scenes are dime a dozen in Telugu films these days. But, Rashmika said that the scene is absolutely necessary as story demanded it and revealed that audience would understand the importance of the scene after watching the film.
It is a known fact that there was a lip-lock scene in Geetha Govindham which was edited out by the makers in the last minute. However, the clip came out and went viral in social media. There were also speculations that this is also one of the reasons why Rashmika’s marriage with Kannada actor Raksith was called off.
