Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma, who is currently making Laxmi’s NTR, revealed today the look of NTR role. He released a one minute video of NTR in youtube.
RGV seems to have intentionally chosen this date to reveal the look of NTR as today is NTR’s death anniversary. Earlier, RGV announced that first look of NTR would be released at 5 pm on Jan 18th. But he later changed his decision and announced that he will release it at 6:57 pm, which is auspicious time. He wrote in twitter that “6:57 Muhurtham, NTR told in dream…total 6+5+7 = 18 and 1+8 = 9 NTR’s sacred number.
He later revealed NTR’s look exactly at 6:57 pm and the actor who is playing the role of NTR looks exactly like him. RGV has the knack of finding actors who look like the original persons, as we have seen in case of Killing Veerappan movie. In the one minute video, NTR is seen as if he is in terrible pain and frustration and gloomy music follows. Probably RGV wants to show NTR’s last days are miserable and full of frustration.
NTR biopic made by Balakrishna became one of the biggest disasters in the history of Tollywood despite good reviews and ratings. We will have to wait and see what will be the fate of RGV’s movie.
