Akhil Akkineni tested his luck with Hello last year and the film received decent response but it failed to rake decent box-office numbers. Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer MCA dominated Hello and the film has been declared as a blockbuster during the season. MCA happened to be the next film of Sai Pallavi after Fidaa and Sai Pallavi’s presence made MCA emerge as a huge money spinner. The film had a huge impact on the collections of Hello last year.
Sai Pallavi is now busy with the shoot of Sharwanand’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu and the makers announced that the film would release this year during Christmas. Akhil’s next film in the direction of Venky Atluri too will hit the screens during the holiday season. We have to wait to see if Sai Pallavi turns out to be a threat for Akhil’s film again or if Akhil can dominate the box-office this time.
