AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is giving a new definition to credibility. He is going on giving top posts to his loyalists, employees and former employees. Is this all to prove his credibility level? These advisors are being paid lakhs of rupees from out of public money. Maybe, they were not paid well when Jagan was in opposition. They are being compensated now.
There is already a hue and cry over how Jagan has appointed so many advisors. But now, one more Sakshi employee is accommodated. Sakshi ex editorial editor K. Ramachandra Murthy is made AP Government Advisor for Public Policy.
In fact, Ramachandra Murthy was removed from his Sakshi post a few months ago and he was limited to writing just a single column in Sakshi. However, Jagan has recognised him as a loyal former employee. Murthy has worked for Sakshi from 2014 till the general election. Because of some differences, he was taken out of editorial post. He is now rehabilitated in AP government. He is given Cabinet rank which means his remuneration will run into four to five lakh rupees per month.
In fact, Ramachandra Murthy hails from Khammam district and he works from Hyderabad. There are allegations that Jagan’s Advisors are mostly Telangana persons or Sakshi employees. They have converted Secretariat into Sakshi branch office. Devulapalli Amar is a Telangana agitation activist but he was given AP Government Advisor for national media relations.
