It is known news that Andhra Pradesh has topped the “Ease of doing annual business ranking of states and Union Territories” by the World Bank and Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP). While Telangana stood at 2nd place, Haryana is at 3rd place. As these rankings come from a prestigious institute, they are usually observed keenly by business and political circles. However, Sakshi daily completely omitted this news in its paper and that in fact surprised many.

Actually, this report and rankings are highlighted by national media as the AP is progressing despite lack of infrastructure post bifurcation. Several business channels and news channels at national level and also Telugu media reported this news but Sakshi didn’t bother about this news and completely ignored it.

This is not first time Sakshi showing bias in presentation of news. Earlier, we have seen how Sakshi completely sideline Pawan (https://www.telugu360.com/big-story-sakshi-completely-sidelined-pawan/) and how it omitted name of Pawan even when the event was attended by Pawan. (https://www.telugu360.com/sakshi-insecured-pawan/)

Today’s Sakshi paper completely ignoring the news of AP getting 1st rank in “Ease of doing business” also makes one wonder whether Sakshi doesn’t feel happy if AP progresses.
