Ram Charan and Samantha surprised the audience with their recent outing Rangasthalam and the film has been receiving exceptional response. Samantha shined as Rama Lakshmi, a village belly speaking Godavari accent. Ram Charan and Samantha shot for a stunning liplock that comes at a crucial time in the film. The liplock turned out to be the talk of the industry and Samantha during her recent interaction responded about it.
“Why are married actresses asked about liplocks when we have many married actors who kiss actresses on screen. I loved Sukumar’s narration and I was given complete freedom about the scene. I felt that the liplock was necessary after which I decided to go ahead. However I kissed Charan on his cheeks and the liplock was a camera trick” explained Samantha.
She even said that Rama Lakshmi will be remembered for a long time among her roles like Jessy from her debut film Em Maya Chesave.
