Actor Pawan Kalyan does spell box-office gold. But the biggest surprise is that he is managing to rake in moolah despite the majority of negative reviews Sardaar Gabbar Singh has got. And so, it does come as a surprise that the film has managed to make it to the coveted $1 million club at the USA box office.
The film’s pre-release premiers on Thursday began with a bang and collected $6.16k. Friday saw a collection of $1.90k and there was a drop on Saturday when the film collected $1.43k.
On Sunday, a collection of $54k made the film reach $1 million.
Co-produced by the actor himself along with friend and producer Sharrath Marar and supported by Sunil Lulla, the film’s screenplay and story have been penned by the actor himself. KS Ravindra aka Bobby has directed the film while Devi Sri Prasad rendered the tunes.
