Producer Shyam Prasad Reddy is known for making many pathbreaking films in Tollywood like ‘Ahuthi’, ‘Ankusam’, ‘Ammoru’ and ‘Arundhati’. He does not make run of the mill entertainers. Rather, his films have a hard hitting storyline and innovate visual effects. He takes a gap of three to four years between releases and his last film was Arundhati in 2009.
So when news comes out that he is getting ready to make a new film, there will be considerable excitement in film circles. Apparently, Shyam Prasad Reddy has finalised a storyline for his film and pre-production work is currently underway. The film will once again have a heroine centric subject and it will be high on visual effects.
Sources say that the film may go on to sets in the second half of this year. Veteran director Kodi Rama Krishna may be brought back to helm the project in Shyam Prasad Reddy’s supervision. Other details will be known soon. We can’t help but wait eagerly for this new project.
