Srinivasa Kalyanam trailer

The Dil Raju – Satish vegesna combo, which delivered heartwarming family drama Shatamanam Bhavathi last year, is bringing yet another film with familiar tropes. Titled as Srinivasa Kalyanam, the film stars Nithiin and Rashi Khanna in the lead roles. The theatrical trailer has been unveiled by Superstar Mahesh Babu and it promises a typical family outing involving umpteen characters with a rural setting. The two minute trailer is blend of the romantic track between the lead pair and the family episodes set in the idyllic locations of Godavari region.

The trailer starts off with Jayasudha explaining the importance of marriage as it is a once-in-a-lifetime event for every individual. Then, we are showcased the romantic track between the lead pair. Rashi Khanna is clearly the one who anchors the love story. This leads us to the glimpses of the traditional wedding involving two big families. The Nithiin – Rashi Khanna pair is lovely and both Jayasudha and Prakash Raj seem to be carrying the film’s narrative forward with subtle performances. The cinematography is top notch and Mickey J Meyer’s soothing score is ok.

All in all, the trailer ticks all boxes to fit into a typical family drama genre. But, what remains to be seen is whether Satish vegesna can make this an ideal watch for audience despite exploring the overused theme again.
