Supreme Court notice to AP IAS: Jagan CBI cases

0

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has begun reopening and taking forward its cases against AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Now, the CBI petitioned the Supreme Court and challenged the High Court order giving relief to AP Special Chief Secretary Adityanath Das from the Jagan illegal assets cases. The Apex Court Bench issued fresh notices to the senior IAS to appear before the court.

Many IAS officers are co-accused in Jagan CBI cases. Jagan is Accused-1 and YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy is Accused-2 in these cases. AP Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam is also one of the accused persons in a case.

Political circles are surprised over the timing of the reopening of CBI Jagan cases at a time when AP CM is stepping up his partnership with Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. Analysts say that Jagan’s closeness to KCR is going to be a big self-goal for YCP Boss. BJP is seriously agitating against KCR. This is not a correct time for Jagan to openly rub shoulders with the TRS. BJP is taking serious note of Jagan’s political moves.
