There have been several talks about the remake of Tamil blockbuster Asuran in Telugu. Names like Hanu Raghavapudi, Ajay Bhupathi, Venkatesh Maha and Srikanth Addala have been considered. After a long discussion, the film’s producer Suresh Babu is said to have finalized Srikanth Addala for the project. Suresh Babu himself revealed the news and he said that an official announcement would be made in a couple of days.
After the disaster of Brahmotsavam, Srikanth Addala has been struggling for work. Srikanth Addala already started working on the script and the regular shoot commences early next year. Kalaipuli S Thanu and Suresh Babu will jointly bankroll this project. The makers are keen on releasing Asuran remake during summer 2020. The female lead and the other actors, technicians are finalized currently.
