Veteran actor Suriya came out with Singam 3 this year but the film could not end up as a massive hit and it left the buyers in hefty losses. The actor has been lined up with films and he is busy shooting for his next movie Thaana Serndha Koottam. The movie is said to be a stylish action drama and young director Vignesh Shivan is directing the movie. The movie’s shoot has been progressing in and around Chennai from the past few weeks. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead in Thaana Serndha Koottam.
As per the update, Suriya will be seen as a CBI officer in the film and there are rumours that the film is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Special 26. The shoot of the film is taking place in a star hotel in the city from the past few days. However the film unit denied the news of the remake and they revealed that Vignesh Shivan has come up with an engaging script. Suriya’s performance is touted to be the film’s major highlight and 2D Entertainments along with Studio Green is producing Thaana Serndha Koottam.
