Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much awaited period film SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy went on floors in December last year. The film, which has Surender Reddy as the director, was initially planned for mid Summer release in 2019. But, the latest reports from close sources to the team revealed that the film might not make it to the screens in Summer.
As SyeRaa is in the making for nearly a year, it was expected that the makers will release it for Summer to cash on the holiday season. However, it looks like the film is likely to miss out the Summer season due to the delay in shooting formalities and post production activities. There is still considerable portion left for shoot and an extensive production phase is required for this magnum opus.
Reportedly, they are planning to go for a smooth release during Dasara festival. Though there are reports that SyeRaa might lock horns with Saaho on Independence Day, it is learnt that there no such plans to clash with other big ticket film. As Saaho is looking for August release, SyeRaa might be moved for Dasara.
SyeRaa has Amithab Bachchan, Nayanatara, Vijay Sethupathi , Tamannah etc in important roles. Ram Charan is bankrolling the film.
