‘777 Charlie’ unit’s generous gift to NGOs working for animals

In what is being seen as a laudable gesture, the makers of Rakshit Shetty-starrer ‘Charlie 777’ on Tuesday announced that they would be contributing five per cent of the film’s profits to NGOs across the country that have been dedicatedly working towards the welfare of Indie dogs and animals.

In a statement, actor Rakshit Shetty, who played the lead in the film, said that the contributions would be made in the name of Charlie.

That apart, he also said that they would be sharing 10 per cent of the film’s profits with every individual who had advanced the culmination of the film.

The actor said, “It has been 25 days since ‘777 Charlie’ has reached you, and it has been receiving unsurpassed love since. Our happiness sees no bounds as we begin to grasp the kind of admiration and recognition this film has earned us.

“We believe that the only way to celebrate this success is by celebrating the multitude of people who have tirelessly worked in union in bringing this film on screen. We have therefore resolved to share 10 per cent of the profit that ‘777 Charlie’ makes, with every individual who has advanced the culmination of this film.

“As the makers of ‘777 Charlie’, we are aware of the kind of effort and resource that goes into creating a happy and safe environment for the animals around us. In this light, we would like to contribute 5 per cent of the profit, in the name of Charlie, to NGOs across the country that have been dedicatedly working towards the welfare of Indie dogs and animals.

777 Charlie gets a Huge Boost

777 Charlie is the latest super hit of Kannada and the film is doing exceptional business in Karnataka and Kerala. In the Telugu states, the film has done decent in its first week and in Hindi, the film’s numbers are poor. The government of Karnataka made 777 Charlie tax-free and this is a huge boost for the film. The story of Dharma and Charlie was quite emotional and the audience loved the film. The team of ‘777 Charlie’ is celebrating as the trailer which has been launched in five languages has been loved by the audience and crossed 1.30 crore views in 24 hours.

The total views crossed 1.82 crore by the Wednesday evening.

The emotional scenes of the dog and protagonist Rakshit Shetty has made an impact on the cine lovers and raised the curiosity about the film.

The Kannada trailer has got 5.8 million views, Hindi version garnered the most 6.8 million views, 3.4 million views in Telugu, 1.6 million views in Tamil and 1.2 million views in Malayalam. The film trailer has succeeded to generate craze for the movie all over the country.

Rakshit Shetty has all praise for director Kiran Raj, who making his debut as a director with this movie. With his first experiment being pegged as one of the awaited movies at pan-India level, Kiran Raj is on cloud nine.

Kannada cine-goers are appreciating the film team as it is all set to make a mark at the national level after ‘KGF: Chapter 2’.

Rakshit Shetty had announced that he would hold premier shows in 21 cities across the country two days before the release of the movie.

Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty turned producer with 777 Charlie and the film got delayed due to the pandemic. 777 Charlie is an emotional journey of Dharma and his dog Charlie who turns out to be his best pal after tragedy strikes hard. 777 Charlie trailer is out now and the film seems to be an interesting attempt that is loaded with an emotional drama and it has some heart touching moments. The film also narrates about the challenges that Dharma faces after Charlie enters his life.

777 Charlie trailer is visually fantastic and the film is shot extensively in various locales of the country. Rakshit Shetty plays Dharma who is rejected by society and leads a pathetic life. 777 Charlie Teaser: A journey with a purpose

Kannada hero Rakshit Shetty of ‘Kirik Party’ fame is bankrolling ‘777 Charlie’ and the teaser of the film is unveiled by Natural Star Nani marking Rakshit’s birthday.

We see a Labrador dog in the lead role and it sets up a journey to find someone. It’s a journey with a purpose.

Charlie – the dog’s ride isn’t that smooth. In rains, getting chased by other dogs and for food, it struggles but it’s pleasing to watch.

This is a bold attempt and a lot for credits to the ones who trained the dog.

The surprise is we see hero Rakshit turning up at the end of the teaser. Nobin Paul’s music complements the visuals well.

‘777 Charlie’ is directed by Kiranraj and overall the teaser is very appealing while kids would enjoy it.
