Sabdham Teaser: Scream Along With Eerie Sound Of Horror

0

Aadhi Pinisetty will next be seen in a multi-lingual film Sabdham directed by Arivazhagan who previously provided him the super hit Vaishali. After creating initial buzz with the first look poster, the makers today came up with a teaser. Hero Venkatesh released the glimpse.

The close to one and half a minute clip gives a glimpse of the supernatural horror thriller and appalling moments that the audience can expect in the film. We can’t help ourselves but screaming along with eerie sound of horror.

Aadhi appeared in an atypical role, as he records sounds at the haunting house with the equipment he brings along with him. Every character looks suspicious. Interesting, the teaser doesn’t unveil any content. The last episode surely frightens.

S Thaman who worked for Vaishali gave a terrific score for the teaser of Sabdham.

Neevevaro Review : Poor crime thriller !

Neevevaro Review

Telugu360 Rating : 2/5

Story :

‘Neevevaro’ is a love triangle at the beginning. A blind chef Kalyan ( Aadhi Pinisetty ) , loves Vennela ( Tapsee ), while his childhood friend Anu ( Ritika ) is in love with him. On his engagement day with Anu he drives himself into a crime web , followed by an accident — the film turns into a investigative thriller since then.

Rest of the story is about how kalyan chases down the criminal , and how finally he nabs them !

Performances : For first half an hour Aadhi Pinisetty shows his mark good performance as a blind guy , later his characterization pales down and so is his performance. Tapsee as Vennela got an interesting role , she fits the role well. Ritika Singh as Anu is good choice in this small budget film. Tulasi , Sivajiraja , Satyakrishna as parents of hero heroines and comedian saptagiri as a helping guy to hero played routine roles. Star comedian Vennela Kishore comedy did not work much in this film, as a constable he got lengthy role in second half.

Analysis :

Crime thrillers are turned lucrative in Tollywood in last few years. Given the limited budget, an average talk is helping them out to recover the budget. Satellite , digital rights etc. are adding up as aprofit. So every writer , director started milking same genre time and again. ‘ Neevevaro’ is pretty much such in vain attempt to cash in trendy crime investigation theme.

Plot starts off with a triangular drama between noble intention characters Kalyan, Anu and Vennela. In general first half goes easy on audience , but this film right from the word go on pathos mode and slow narration. Beaten to death track ..Hero gets impressed by a heroine who donates food to needy elder age beggers etc sentimental scenes occupy first half major part. Once hero meets with an accident , gets his eye vision , things turn crime angle. A call money gang involves , kalyan investigates about what happened to vennela.

Second half is investigation with no good puzzles to engage the audience. Predictable twists , poor screenplay make a pale second half , which is a follow-up to a slow first half.

Hero characterization had been mentally, physically so competent when he was blind , but after getting eye vision – turns routine.

Towards the climax , after revealing who is the criminal , things are interesting for a while. That is only worked out item in whole film. Music is forgettable right after those songs. Overall , not a satisfactory experience

Positives :

  • Aadi Pinisetty performance
  • Tapsee characterization

Negatives :

  • Slow , sentimental first half
  • Unappealing second half
  • Crime story lacks thrill

Verdict :

‘ Neevevaro ‘ is a poorly made crime investigating thriller. This is another movie in vain tried to cash in the present trend of crime thriller. Aadhi’s effort , Tapsee characterization aren’t enough to rescue this film.

Young actor says no to Villain Roles

0

Aadhi Pinisetty is one of the finest actors of South Indian cinema. Unfortunately, he could not get wide recognition for the roles of protagonist he did in Telugu and Tamil languages. Right at this time, he signed Boyapati Srinu’s Sarrainodu and he received wide applause for the role of Vairam Dhanush, the lead antagonist in the film. He continued picking up interesting films and his work in Ninnu Kori and Agnyaathaavi have been appreciated.

Now the actor is playing an interesting and twisting role in Charan’s Rangasthalam. The actor decided not to do villain’s roles in the coming days and he is keen on building his career with the lead roles. With enough craze, Aadhi is teaming up with star actresses so that he can make his place prominent as a lead actor in Telugu and Tamil languages. He is currently playing the lead roles in Samantha’s U Turn and Taapsee’s next produced by Kona Venkat. Hope Aadhi Pinisetty bounces back and makes it to the big league with the series of films signed.

Dubbing Film Brings Double Profit

0

Although the success rate of dubbing films is not that encouraging, enthusiastic Telugu filmmakers never shy away from betting on potential films from neighboring states. Here is a rare dubbed film that has collected double the amount invested on it.

“Marakathamani”, a small dubbing film starring Aadhi Pinisetty in lead role, was released in the Telugu states on June 16, one week ahead of DJ’s release. The film’s dubbing rights were bought for Rs 50 lakhs and around Rs 15 lakhs more was spent on promotion and dubbing works.

With a total investment of Rs 65 lakhs, the small horror comedy went on to to collect around Rs 1.3 crore share in its full run. And, the buyer has recovered double the investment he had made on this Aadhi starrer. The Telugu Satellite rights are a bonus for the buyer.

The success of ‘Marakathamani’ can be attributed partly to decent commercial elements and largely to Aadhi’s popularity in the Telugu sates. He has become a noted face to Telugu people with the success of “Sarrainodu”. Nani’s upcoming film ‘Ninnu Kori’ and Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’ are expected to further boost his career prospects in Tollywood.
