Will Megastar respond to Acharya Plagiarism allegations?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next film Acharya is currently in a plagiarism row. Young writer and aspiring director Rajesh Manduri claims that Koratala Siva and Mythri Movie Makers copied his idea after he narrated it to the production house couple of years ago. He even went on to say that he has the bound script registered with the Telugu Writers Association but the association never supported him and asked him to proceed legally.

The news created a sensation across the Telugu states. The biggest question now is if Megastar Chiranjeevi responds and resolves the issue before it turns murkier. Rajesh made it clear that he would fight until he finds justice in the issue. He said that it took him three years to pen the script and Mythri Movie Makers, Koratala Siva stole his script. He approached several people of Tollywood from the past 11 months but most of them never supported him. Without losing hope, he is fighting for justice.

Megastar never tolerates or supports such acts. It’s high time for Chiranjeevi to look into the matter and resolve it before Rajesh knocks the doors of the court.

Star writer turned director Koratala Siva raced to the top with four back to back blockbusters. He is directing Megastar Chiranjeevi in his next film titled Acharya. The motion poster of the film was out recently on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Young writer Kanneganti Anil Krishna claims that the episodes from the motion poster are inspired by his story ‘Punyabhoomi’ which was registered with the Writers Association in 2006.

Though it is quite early to allege that the episode is inspired by his script, Anil claims that he has written the episode of Dharmasthali which is the core point of his script. The makers of Acharya are yet to respond to this. Koratala Siva earlier landed into a copyright issue with his film Srimanthudu and the issue got resolved after the film’s release. The shoot of Acharya is expected to resume next year. We have to wait to see how the makers of Acharya responds to the plagiarism allegations made by Anil.

Chiranjeevi is spotted in action mode and the motion poster highlights Dharmasthali throughout. The motion poster reveals nothing much about the film and Manisharma’s background score is an asset.

The shoot of Acharya is currently kept on hold and it resumes only after the vaccination for coronavirus arrives. Kajal Aggarwal plays Chiranjeevi’s love interest and Ram Charan is rumored to play a prominent role in this action entertainer. Megastar Chiranjeevi is shooting for Acharya when the coronavirus pandemic attack took place. Chiranjeevi voluntarily called off the shoot before the government issues to cancel the shoot of films. With the spread of coronavirus huge all over, Chiranjeevi decided to resume shoot at the end of this year. The film is now 30% complete. Koratala Siva canned three action episodes for Acharya under the supervision of renowned fight masters Ram-Laxman.

A special song on Chiranjeevi and Regina is canned in a special set. The shoot of the film came to a halt when the unit was busy with the interval episode. The shoot will resume where it was called off. Koratala will first complete the interval episode after which he will start the talkie part of Acharya. Koratala Siva is aiming at summer 2021 release for the movie. Kajal is the leading lady in Acharya and Ram Charan plays a crucial role. Director Koratala Siva said that 40% of the film’s shoot has been wrapped up.
