The superstars of Tollywood, Bollywood and Mollywood will come together to launch the teaser of Adivi Sesh’s upcoming biographical film Major. Mahesh Babu, Salman Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran will release the teaser of Major on their social media handles in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam respectively.

Given first look poster of the lead cast and other promotional content received optimistic response, there is good anticipation for Major teaser to be released tomorrow at 4:05 PM.

Starring Saiee Manjrekar and Sobhita Dhulipala in key roles, the film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka will release worldwide on July 2nd.

On the occasion of actor Adivi Sesh’s birthday, the team Major came up with first look poster of the film. The young hero stuns as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan here. Holding gun, he can be seen all focused. We can observe intensity in the eyes of Sesh and this shows how the actor completely immersed in the character.

Starting from training at a boot camp and physical makeover, Adivi Sesh pulled out all stops to get into the skin of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life in the line of duty during the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai.

Sashi Kiran Tikka is directing, while Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment along with Sony Pictures Films India and A+S Movies is bankrolling the Pan India Telugu, Hindi bilingual to hit the screens in summer 2021.

After the super success of Goodachari, Adivi Sesh is quite cautious and is making interesting moves. His next film is titled Major and is inspired by the life story of Army Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The Look Test of Major is out today and Adivi Sesh speaks about the journey which inspired him to make a film on Sandeep. He said that he was in USA when he saw the message that Sandeep Unnikrishnan passed away. He collected the information about Sandeep and met his parents on his return to India.

Adivi Sesh said that his parents never believed when he expressed his interest in making a film on their son. They slowly gained confidence and gave their nod after which Adivi Sesh started penning the script. Before this, he had ten-year research done on Sandeep Unnikrishnan. It was not an easy road for Adivi Sesh as he had to match him on screen and worked on his looks. He beefed up well to fit well in the role. A glimpse of Adivi Sesh as Sandeep has been released through the video and he looks perfect as Sandeep.

Sashi Kiran Tikka has been asked to direct the film which is now in the last leg of shoot. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment joined the board to co-produce this interesting pan Indian project along with Sony Pictures India. Adivi Sesh explained this on an emotional note. The first look of Major will be unveiled on December 17th. The film releases next year.

Based on the life of Major Unnikrishnan who was a hero during the 26/11 attacks, Adivi Sesh’s Major is a bi-lingual in Hindi and Telugu. New addition to the film’s ensemble cast is Saiee Manjrekar who is roped in for an essential role.

Saiee Manjrekar, daughter of Bollywood actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg 3 and now she is venturing into Tollywood with Major. She will begin her part of shooting from next month in Hyderabad.

A joint production venture of Sony Pictures Films, Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. Sobhita Dhulipala will be seen in another important role in the film planned for summer release in 2021.

Young actor Adivi Sesh sounds quite consistent in his career. The actor is completely focused on Major, an action drama that is based on the life story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film’s shoot is currently kept on hold and the major portions of the shoot will be wrapped up soon. The actor says that the film has a bunch of surprises which are kept under wraps. Along with Shobitha Dhulipala, the film also has another heroine.

The heroine will be kept as a surprise and her name will be announced soon. A massive set is erected in Ramoji Film City for the shoot. Adivi Sesh said that he lost 8 kgs for his role and he is keeping himself fit during this lockdown period. Sesh also interacted with several army officials and some of them will be playing crucial roles in Major. They will be present on the sets during the shoot. Sony Pictures India along with GMB Entertainment are the producers. An official announcement about the release of Major would be made after the lockdown is lifted. The film will have a pan Indian release.
