OTT streaming of Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Custody’ locked for June 9

Prime Video on Wednesday announced the exclusive global streaming premiere of the Telugu action thriller ‘Custody’ on June 9.

Directed and written by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi the film stars Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty, and Arvind Swami in lead roles.

Custody will exclusively stream in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide on June 9 in Telugu and Tamil along with dubs in Malayalam and Kannada.

Custody, which was released in theatres last month, is an enthralling action-drama focusing on Shiva (Naga Chaitanya), a young constable tasked with the high-risk responsibility of transporting a dangerous criminal named Raju (Arvind Swami) to the court in Bengaluru. Unaware of Raju’s role as a key witness against a powerful senior minister, Shiva finds himself become a target, along with the criminal he’s escorting.

As they navigate a treacherous journey, Shiva must protect Raju and ensure his testimony reaches the courtroom. This edge-of-your-seat action-thriller explores the relentless pursuit of justice, despite the betrayal in tow, delivering an adrenaline-fuelled cinematic experience.

Bangarraju Teaser: Mass Treat Loading

Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are teaming up for Bangarraju, the sequel for Soggade Chinni Nayana. The movie completed shoot and is gearing up for Sankranthi 2022 release. With RRR and Radhe Shyam out from Sankranthi race, the makers of Bangarraju released the teaser and confirmed that the film will hit the screens for Sankranthi. The teaser is packed with fun and all the commercial ingredients. Naga Chaitanya looks flawless and Nag is the driving force for him in this fantasy. Bangarraju teaser looks colorful and the makers played it safe with the plot.

Kalyan Krishna is the director and the background score is decent. Bangarraju is shot in Hyderabad and Mysore. Ramya Krishna, Krithi Shettty and Faria Abdullah will be seen in other important roles. Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios are the producers of Bangarraju and the date will be announced soon. Anup Rubens composed the music and background score for Bangarraju.

‘Thank You: The Movie’ DoP Sreeram treats fans to pics of Naga Chaitanya

Cinematographer P.C. Sreeram has posted pictures from the sets of the much-anticipated film ‘Thank You: The Movie’ featuring Naga Chaitanya.

Sreeram took to Twitter to share a few glimpses from the sets of ‘Thank You’.

Tagging the actors of ‘Thank You’, the Director of Photography wrote, “On to its next phase of the shoot.”

Naga Chaitanya’s pictures feature him in a jersey, and the backdrop appears like it is a sports field which suggests Chaitanya is to play a sportsman in the movie.

One of the pictures has Chaitanya in the dressing room, where he is seen along with his friend, sorting his sports gear.

Helmed by ‘Manam’, ’24’, and ‘Gang Leader’ director Vikram Kumar, ‘Thank You: The Movie’ is one of the most awaited films of Naga Chaitanya.

The shooting of the movie began in December 2020 and is expected to be wrapped up in the coming months.

Actress Rashi Khanna plays the love interest of Naga Chaitanya.

Chaitanya is to share the screen alongside his father Nagarjuna in the movie ‘Bangarraju’, apart from ‘Thank You’.

The team of Thank You flew to Italy during this pandemic situation and they completed the planned schedule successfully. Naga Chaitanya and Rashi Khanna are the lead actors in this interesting film directed by Vikram Kumar. Despite several hurdles, all the planned episodes on the lead actors are completed successfully and the team is returning back home. The entire movie unit posed for a picture after completing the Italy schedule of Thank You.

The next schedule will commence in Hyderabad in July with which the entire shoot of Thank You will be completed. Thank You is produced by Dil Raju and the film releases this year. Chaitanya’s upcoming release Love Story is waiting for the pandemic to end soon. Naga Chaitanya is expected to join the sets of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in June and complete his portions in a single schedule.

Naga Chaitanya completed his shooting part for Love Story and the film’s release is pushed because of the coronavirus. The actor shifted his focus on to his next film that is titled Thank You. Manam fame Vikram Kumar is the director and the film is 80 percent done with the shoot. The new schedule of Thank You kick-started in Italy’s Milan and will last for three weeks. The schedule commences on April 21st and it will be wrapped up by May 20th. The makers planned to shoot a song along with some important episodes in the beautiful locales of Italy.

Naga Chaitanya and Rashi Khanna commenced shooting for Thank You in Milan. The shooting portions of the film is planned to be completed by the end of May. Thaman is the music director and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers. Thank You is aimed for release during the last quarter of the year. Chaitu will be seen in two different looks in Thank You.

Akkineni hero’s next titled Majnu

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who is currently busy shooting for Gautham Menon’s ‘Sahasame Swaasagaa Saagipo’, will soon team up with Chandoo Mondeti for the official remake of Malayalam smash hit ‘Premam’. S.Radha Krishna of Haarika and Hassine Creations will bankroll the film.

Fresh reports from the media revealed that the film is officially titled ‘Majnu’. As reported earlier, Anupama Parameswaran and Amyra Dastur are confirmed as the female leads in the film and the makers are now trying to rope in Shruti Haasan as well to share screen space with Naga Chaitanya. The project will be launched very soon and more details will be confirmed in a short while.
