    Allu Arjun starrer Trivikram directed ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ has stopped its song promotions. Three songs are out and two more are to be unveiled but the team is now set to implement other promotional plans. The song will be unveiled later, not now. The time has come for them to release the teaser, trailers and go beyond online promotions.

    Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ team has come up with a plan to hold several events in various towns in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Interaction with fans is their idea. So, Bunny’s team too is toying with some novel ideas.

    The film’s teaser will be announced in a week’s time. The trailer will be unveiled in the first week of January. Two massive events will also be held.     Allu Arjun and Trivikram are working together for an out and out family entertainer titled Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Though the shoot was initially planned to be wrapped up in October, it got delayed due to various reasons. A song along with some crucial scenes and the climax episodes are yet to be canned from this family drama. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was initially planned on a strict budget but it crept up due to various reasons. The makers are now left worried about the heaped budget of the film.

    After the singles received tremendous response, Trivikram changed plans and wanted to can a song in beautiful locales of Paris. Along with these several factors made the numbers go high. Though there is a huge demand for theatrical rights, the makers are yet to close some of the deals. Allu Aravind wishes to release the film across some of the territories through his distribution house while S Radha Krisha wishes the film to be released through his regular distributors.

    Things about the final theatrical deals are expected to be finalized in a week. On the whole, the makers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo may pocked less profits because of the heaped budget. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is hitting the screens on January 12th across the globe.

    All eyes are on Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, each of them has succeeded in creating euphoria around them for various reasons. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ has generated huge expectations thanks to the combination of Mahesh Babu, Vijayashanthi and the successful director Anil Ravipudi. Coming to ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, the music has become a rage taking the expectations to the sky level.

    Both these movies would do phenomenal theatrical business as both of them are hitting during the festive season. No doubt on that part. But producers won’t see any windfall of profits.

    Anil Sunkara proposed ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ movie to Mahesh Babu with the promise that he will part entire digital, satellite and Hindi dubbing rights to the superstar as part of the remuneration. This would total around Rs 50 crore. Tempted by this record amount, Mahesh Babu immediately greenlit the project without a blinking eye.

    The producer’s idea was that if he could restrict the production cost below Rs 80 crore, he would easily make Rs 20 crore profit from the theatrical business. But huge sets and other production put a spanner in his plans. The production cost is nearing Rs 100 crore and the pre-release theatrical business will not exceed this amount. So, the producers (Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju) are going to left with no or little profits before the movie’s release. They may only get huge profits if the film performs beyond expectations. As of now, the production costs are giving them sleepless nights.

    Similar is the case with ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. Allu Aravind has taken partnership in this film without investing a penny. S Radhakrishna has put all the money and director Trivikram is filming it on a lavish scale. Buzz is that the film has become the costliest film ever in Allu Arjun’s career. With the huge buzz around the movie, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ may do record pre-release business for an Allu Arjun starrer. But trade analysts say the producer may not make profits before the release.

    Increasing remunerations of the male stars and overproduction costs have become a headache to the producers.
