Jagan’s Regime is Turning AP into Zero, says YS Sharmila

0

President of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, YS Sharmila, launched scathing criticism against the incumbent Chief Minister, Jaganmohan Reddy, accusing him of orchestrating the state’s descent into zero development. During her campaign, Sharmila urged voters to prioritize the Congress party in the upcoming elections, regardless of inducements offered by other political entities.

Unfulfilled Promises and Betrayal:

Sharmila lambasted Jaganmohan Reddy for his failure to fulfill numerous promises made during his tenure as the opposition leader. Despite garnering substantial parliamentary representation, the state government’s inability to secure special status has led to a stagnation of industrial growth and widespread unemployment. She accused Jagan of duping job-seeking individuals with empty pledges, highlighting his delayed and insufficient action in addressing the employment crisis. Whenever Sharmila spoke about unemployment in her rallies, she is getting more support from the youngsters.

Sharmila decried the dismal state of agriculture under Jagan’s governance, lamenting the absence of debt-free farmers and the inadequate support provided to agricultural sectors. She highlighted the sharp decline in the availability of essential commodities through ration shops, attributing it to the administration’s flawed policies. Moreover, she criticized the government’s economic measures, alleging a pattern of price hikes and insufficient welfare provisions.

Bold Comments on Jagan’s Secret alliance with some BJP leaders:

Furthermore, Sharmila condemned Jagan’s clandestine alliance with the BJP, contrasting it with Chandrababu Naidu’s transparent approach. She emphasized that sustainable state development can only be achieved under Congress’s leadership, pledging to grant special status for a decade upon assuming power. Additionally, she promised substantial financial assistance to impoverished women and the creation of durable housing units.

In contrast, Sharmila projected the Congress party as the harbinger of positive change, advocating for the victory of its candidates. She underscored the party’s commitment to inclusive development and pro-people policies, promising a comprehensive overhaul of the state’s socioeconomic landscape.

As YS Sharmila’s campaign gains momentum, her critique of Jaganmohan Reddy’s governance offers a stark portrayal of the challenges faced by Andhra Pradesh under his leadership. By highlighting unfulfilled promises, economic strain, and agricultural neglect, Sharmila presents the Congress party as a viable alternative dedicated to restoring the state’s prosperity and welfare. Even though there is no possibility of the Congress party coming into power in the state of AP, Sharmila’s efforts may improve the vote percentage for the party this time.

Jagan’s Manifesto Dilemma: A Closer Look

As the 2024 elections draw nearer, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is yet to unveil his party’s manifesto. This delay stands in stark contrast to the pivotal role his manifesto played in securing victory during the 2019 elections. Despite assurances that 99% of the promises made in 2019 have been fulfilled, the absence of a new manifesto raises questions about the direction of Jagan’s campaign.

TDP-JSP Alliance’s “Super Six” Assurances:

In contrast, the TDP-Jana Sena Party (JSP) alliance has wasted no time in outlining their “super six” assurances, with a heavy emphasis on welfare schemes. This strategic move aims to allay the concerns of beneficiaries of YSRCP schemes while promising broader coverage under their administration. This departure from Chandrababu Naidu’s administration-focused approach signals a shift in strategy for the opposition alliance.

Jagan’s Response to Opposition Promises:

In response to the opposition’s Super Six promises, Jagan expressed skepticism, citing the significant financial burden such schemes would impose on the state. He stated, while speaking at an election rally, that approximately 1.4 lakh crore rupees are required per year to implement these schemes. He questioned the feasibility of allocating funds to cover these schemes, particularly after the state’s financial struggles post-bifurcation.

YSRCP’s Manifesto Confusion:

Jagan’s apparent hesitancy to release his party’s manifesto stems from a complex confluence of factors. On one hand, the opposition’s focus on welfare schemes necessitates a robust response from the ruling party, potentially requiring costlier and sensational initiatives. However, Jagan has already dismissed the feasibility of such schemes due to financial constraints.

Pressure for New Initiatives:

Amid growing anti-incumbency sentiments, there are rumors of pressure on Jagan to announce significant measures, such as loan waivers for farmers and women’s self-help groups. However, Jagan’s previous opposition to such schemes, especially during 2019, coupled with the challenge of justifying the expenditure, adds to his dilemma.

Manifesto Impact on Election Dynamics:

While opposition parties are seizing the initiative with their proactive manifesto announcements, Jagan’s indecision risks leaving his campaign in limbo. However, it’s essential to note that many voters in India are swayed by broader issues like emotion and general governance, rather than specific promises outlined in manifestos. Some of the voters do not even go through the manifestos of the political parties.

As the election campaign intensifies, Jagan must balance addressing voter expectations, managing financial constraints, and countering opposition strategies. The delay in the manifesto release underscores the confusion Jagan is currently facing. Further delay in the release of the manifesto may send wrong signals to the people of Andhra Pradesh and further hamper Jagan’s prospects.

Jagan imported ganja to AP, says Naidu

“As the then chief minister of the State I have invited investments to the State from various foreign countries, Jagan Mohan Reddy, after becoming the Chief Minister of the State, has successfully brought in ganja and other drugs from abroad,” remarked TDP president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Sunday.

Jagan has totally swept away the North Andhra and encroached upon all the hilly areas, Chandrababu Naidu told a sea of humanity at Payakaraopeta in Anakapalli district during his Praja Galam. The TDP has the credit of promoting the port city of Visakhapatnam as IT and economic capital while Jagan has turned into a centre for settlements and land encroachments, the TDP supremo said.

Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan started feeling shaky after the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP have come together forming an alliance and promised to develop the State with a double-engine government. He expressed confidence that there is a change in the mood of the people and the tremendous response from the Dalit community here is a clear indication of this.

“If the soul of Dr Sudhakar, a medical doctor who was killed branding him as mad, be peaceful the YSRCP should be completely routed in these elections,” Chandrababu said and stated that the Constitution framed by Dr BR Ambedkar is certainly a fantastic document but Jagan, who is in the position to implement it in the State is the most unfit person. The most prestigious Bharat Ratna was awarded to Dr Ambedkar when the TDP founder, the late NT Rama Rao, was the chairman of the National Front, Chandrababu Naidu fondly recalled.

When all the three parties, the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP, have come together, is there any chance for the existence of any other party, Chandrababu Naidu asked and said that the construction workers are now ready to bury the YSRCP. On the one hand Jagan is distributing Rs 10 to the beneficiaries of various welfare schemes and looting Rs 100 from everyone by increasing the prices of all commodities so steeply, the TDP supremo remarked.

Did Jagan provide employment even to a single person, he asked and said that this Chief Minister did not fulfil even a single promise made to the people, including the youth like issuing job calendar and Mega DSC. “If the youth want to get jobs, Babu should be back and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) should come to power,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Stating that he will personally take the responsibility to provide jobs to the youth, the TDP supremo called upon the people to elect the Jana Sena and the BJP candidates besides the TDP candidates for the progress of the State. The alliance will take every measure to construct houses for the poor besides supplying sand free of cost, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu also promised to promote local leaders for the development of this area and also put an end to the sand, land and mining mafia. The Super-Six schemes coupled with the welfare programmes announced by the Centre will certainly help the people to prosper well, he added.

Chandrababu Naidu made a fervent appeal to the people to vote for the BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha seat, CM Ramesh, and Vangalapudi Anitha, for the Assembly segment with very high majority for the development of the State.

TDP sees police failure behind attack on Jagan

0

Strongly condemning the stone-pelting at Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, during his poll campaign on Saturday, the TDP on Sunday demanded the immediate shifting of the Incharge Director General of Police (DGP), KV Rajendrananth Reddy, along with the DGP (Intelligence), PSR Anjaneyulu and the Vijayawada Police Commissioner, Kranthi Rana Tata, as the incident took place due to their failure.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), the TDP senior leader and member of Rajya Sabha, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar felt that the stone-pelting on the Chief Minister is due to the failure of the police. Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar also demanded that those responsible for the attack be brought to book immediately.

Giving reference of the representations made by the TDP supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, earlier to the Election Commission of India (ECI) on August 28 last year, on March 16 this year to the ECI and the CEC and the representation submitted by Chandrababu Naidu along with Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, on January 9 this year, the Rajya Sabha member said that it is very sad that the security for a top leader like the Chief Minister, has miserably failed where the senior most IPS officers like the DGP, the DGP (Intelligence) and others are stationed.

Ravindra Kumar mentioned in the letter that the police department has lost its professionalism and conduct as established through a series of episodes of failure in the past five years. Attacks on TDP leaders at several places were handled with bias and the culprits were let off. Pointing out that the then DGP has justified the stone-pelting at the convoy of Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravathi as a democratic right of dissent, the TDP MP said that the attack on the TDP office at Mangalagiri was handled so irresponsibly that the police did not take into custody even a single person responsible for this.

This apart, in Angallu and Kuppam the police personnel had remained as mute spectators when stones were pelted at Chandrababu Naidu in the full glare of the media, he said. Also, in Yerragondapalem in Prakasam district Chandrababu Naidu was attacked by none other than a Minister in the State Cabinet, Kanakamedala pointed out. Besides, the police miserably failed in making proper security arrangements for Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s election rally at Chilakaluripet on March 17 and no action has been taken yet to probe these lapses and fix the responsibility on those concerned, the TDP MP stated.

Against this backdrop, Kanakamedala said that it is really shocking that much before any preliminary inquiry conducted into the attack on the Chief Minister, the advisor to the Government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has made attempts to directly malign the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu He felt that it is a travesty of self-cheating by the YSRCP.

Stating that the entire police setup is in the clutches of the Chief Minister, Kanakamedala said that the officers of the choice of the Chief Minister are given focal postings thus reducing the law-enforcing agencies into spineless creatures to act as party functionaries. Some of the Cabinet Ministers are interfering with the police investigation through their statements pointing towards the TDP, he said and suspected that given the past record of the State police some false cases may be foisted against the TDP activists to cover-up their failures.

Kanakamedala opined that as the police officials have already failed in maintenance of the law and order, investigation by the same officials in their own failure may not be impartial to bring the facts to light. Since the responsibility of law and order maintenance during the election period squarely lies with the ECI, Kanakamedala made an appeal to the poll panel to take control of the deteriorating law and order in the State to ensure the poll campaign goes on in a peaceful manner.

Since the DGP, the DGP (Intelligence) and the Vijayawada Police Commissioner have miserably failed in providing proper security arrangements for the Chief Minister and even the Prime Minister as mentioned above how the common man can expect maintenance of proper law and order by the same officials, particularly during the election period, he asked. Hence, Kanakamedala demanded that the Incharge DGP, the DGP (Intelligence) and the Vijayawada Police Commissioner be shifted immediately for protection of law and order.

Kanakamedala also demanded the poll panel to order for an inquiry into Saturday’s incident by an external agency like the CBI or the NIA so that the real culprits can be brought to book in the interest of fairplay and justice.

AP is my State and Amaravati is my capital, says Naidu

0

TDP president and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday declared that no power on earth can disturb Amaravathi which will continue to be the capital of the State.

‘This is not Tadikonda. This is Amaravati and I am telling you all from this platform that no power on earth can disturb Amaravathi and this is going to be the permanent capital of the State,” Chandrababu Naidu said at Praja Galam, the mammoth public meeting organised at Tadikonda on Saturday. Only 30 more days left to rewrite the history of the State which is clearly visible in front of everyone here, Chandrababu Naidu said.

The TDP supremo said that he is saluting all the 25,000 farmers in Amaravati who have voluntarily come forward to donate 35,000 acres for building the capital. In just three years time, he said he has taken various developmental activities.

Stating that Hyderabad and Secunderabad were earlier twin cities, Chandrababu Naidu fondly recalled that as the then chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh he has built the Cyberabad making them as tri cities. “With the similar spirit I wanted to build a massive city of Amaravati combining the cities of Vijayawada and Guntur,” he added.

The Telugus are the highest earning community in the IT sector now and all this has become possible with the efforts that he has encouraged the IT industry in Hyderabad, he said. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is the candidate of the alliance for the Lok Sabha seat from here while Tenali Sravan Kumar is the candidate for the Tadikonda Assembly segment, Chandrababu Naidu said and stated that he is handing over the responsibility to the people here to elect both of them in these polls.

“I wanted to develop Amaravati in such a way that the whole world should look at this city and I wanted Amaravati to be the city to generate maximum revenue,” Chandrababu Naidu said. But the situation is so bad now that the youth have to migrate to neighbouring States in search of employment, he said.

While Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru is of Karnataka people can easily say that Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana but can anyone say what is the capital of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu asked. The State has become into three pieces under the rule of this psycho, he remarked.

This Chief Minister is shamelessly saying that capital means only four or five buildings, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that if that is the case he had built hundreds of buildings in Amaravati. Capital means the respect and image of a State and it is the victory of the people, he remarked.

Since the foundation for Amaravati has been laid with sacred soil, no power on earth can touch this capital city, Chandrababu Naidu said with confidence. The struggle of the Amaravati Joint Action Committee (JAC) will remain in history, he said and recalled how the JAC leaders were subjected to humiliation and various kinds of harassment.

“I will also take measures to develop both Visakhapatnam and Kurnool too and Visakhapatnam will be the economic capital and Kurnool to be horticulture and seed capital. Only TDP has the capacity to do all this and leaders with commitment and capabilities have come together to form an alliance,” the TDP supremo said.

Asking the people to celebrate Amaravati as the capital on June 4 when the Assembly election results are declared, Chandrababu Naidu said that the people should emerge victorious. Will anyone with minimum common sense demolish a building constructed with Rs 10 cr, he asked and said that this Chief Minister has begun his rule by demolitions but not with constructions, which is a general practice.

Chandrababu said that though biryani packets and liquor are being distributed freely besides arranging 1500 buses people are not willing to attend the meetings being addressed by Jagan while people are voluntarily coming for the TDP meetings. Recalling how he got the seven mandals merged with Andhra Pradesh to take up the Polavaram project, the former chief minister said that he has constructed Pattiseema to divert 140 TMC feet of water thus creating a history.

Asking whether the youth got any kind of employment, he said what happened to the job calendar and Mega DSC. Leave alone inviting industrialists to the State to set up their units, Jagan has chased out the existing ones resulting in the youth migrating to other States in search of employment.

The condition of the government employees too is so bad that the Dearness Allowance (DA) is not being paid to them and Jagan also failed to fulfill the promise that he had made to the employees on abrogation of CPS, Chandrababu Naidu said. Even salaries are not being paid ontime, he added.

Making an appeal to the police personnel to mend their ways, he asked them to stop succumbing to the pressure from higher officials to harass innocent people. “I am assuring you all that I will provide all kinds of facilities and reduce the work pressure. The police setup will certainly get past glory,” Chandababu Naidu said.

The whole education system collapsed after Jagan came to power, he said and stated that in every work that Jagan has executed there is a scam. In the prevailing condition, only the TDP can take the State forward, Chandrababu Naidu said and promised to work with commitment. Recalling how the land rates have gone up in Hyderabad after building Cyberabad, Chandrababu Naidu promises to take care of every section by implementing the Super-Six schemes. “Let us chase out the traitors of Amaravathi,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Naidu promises irrigation water for three crops under Krishna delta

0

Thanking the people profusely for giving a grand welcome to the Praja Galam, TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, promised to take measures to supply irrigation water for three crops in a year under the Krishna delta.

The response from the people in every corner of the State is enormous and everywhere they promise to get the alliance partners elected to the Assembly and the Lok Sabha, Chandrababu Naidu said. Observing that the TDP is always in favour of women, Chandrababu Naidu said that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is feeling totally insecure and thus getting the trees uprooted along his route as and when he comes out of his residence.

“Has Jagan in these five years met at least five times the farmers who suffered huge losses in farming,” the TDP supremo asked and remarked that how this Chief Minister, who could not take steps to repair the damaged roads can build three capitals. In a sarcastic comment Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan is such a great leader who has replaced the name of the Father of the Constitution, Dr BR Ambedkar, with his name for all the schemes being extended to the Dalit community.

Jagan on one hand is distributing Rs 10 to each beneficiary of the welfare schemes but looting Rs 100 from all of them from the other through steep hike in prices of essentials besides power charges and others, Chandrababu Naidu said. The destruction that began with Praja Vedika continued upto Pattiseema, he said.

Reaffirming that Amaravathi is going to be the capital of the State, Chandrababu Naidu recalled that just on a call given by him 29,000 farmers had come forward to donate 35,000 acres only on reposing faith in him. Probably this is a world record, he added. But Jagan played a high drama in the name of three capitals and the ultimate result is that the State does not have a capital now, Chandrababu Naidu regretted.

Asking the people whether they want destructive rule or a government that works only on developmental aspects, Chandrababu Naidu said that the people will not excuse this Chief Minister who played with the lives of their children by making free availability of ganja and other drugs which only ruined their future. Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan is simply looting the State by selling spurious liquor at very high prices.

The TDP always works in favour of women, he said and called upon the people to think twice before exercising their franchise. Observing that he has agreed to include in the Super-Six certain suggestions made by Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, the TDP national president promised to do justice to all sections of society.

Reaffirming that if the youth should get jobs Babu should be back in power, Chandrababu Naidu said he will act as the best driver of the State to take the youth on a safe journey. Also, Chandrababu Naidu assured the volunteers of increasing their wages and felt that by 2047 the country will be in the number one position in the world under the able leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

The TDP supremo also promised to rescind the Land Titling Act as the provisions of this new legislation are aimed at facilitating grabbing of the land by Jasgan originally owned by the public. The NDA is going to win 400 Lok Sabha seats in the country, Chandrababu Naidu said and made an appeal to the people to help the alliance sweep the polls in the State by winning a minimum 150 Assembly segments.

TDP Lok Sabha candidate, Krishna Prasad, has a clean record while nanda Babu has come before the voters for the fifth successive term, Chandrababu Naidu said and appealed to the people to stand by them.

SC, ST, Muslim declaration soon, says Naidu

0

TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday said that the BC declaration has been announced to totally transform the future of the community and now SC, ST and Muslim declaration will be announced soon.

Making it clear that pension will be paid for BCs who have completed the age of 50, Chandrababu Naidu said that Rs 30,000 each will be paid for the BCs under the sub-plan which means each person will be receiving Rs 1.5 lakh in the coming five years. Addressing massive public meetings as part of Praja Galam during the election campaign at P Gannavaram in West Godavari district and Ambajipeta in Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district, Chandrababu Naidu also made a promise to BCs 34 per cent reservation for them is local bodies.

The TDP supremo also said that the TDP will fight for reservation for BCs in legislative bodies too and a separate legislation will be brought in for their safety and security besides spending Rs 5,000 cr under Adarana scheme. “I will personally take the responsibility to do justice to BCs and the insurance amount too will be increased to Rs 10 lakh,” he added.

Deeply delighted at the huge turnout for the Praja Galam meetings on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will surely come to power in the State and at the Centre. “The massive public response clearly indicates at what level the anti-incumbency is,” he remarked.

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the polling date to teach a fitting lesson to this Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said and stated that he and the Jana Sena chief, Mr Pawan Kalyanm, have come here to instill confidence among them as they have been facing umpteen problems in this anarchic rule of Jagan. “We are going to give a fitting reply with a battle for Jagan who always says that he is Sidhham (ready). Are you also Sidhham (ready) for this,” he asked the people, which is received with a tremendous response from the public.

Regretting that there is no job guarantee even for the government employees, Chandrababu Naidu said that the dues pending for the police personnel too have not been cleared since long. ‘My deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the Special Protection Force (SPF) constable, Sankar Rao, who has committed suicide earlier in the day, as he resorted to the exterme step due to financial problems,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

There is a tremendous pressure on the police personnel who have been on duty for 24 hours a day, he said and felt that the financial condition of such police personnel should be taken into consideration as they always fight for proper maintenance of law and order. The Travelling Allowance (TA) and Dearness Allowance (DA) dues have been pending for several months, Chandrababu Naidu said and promised to clear all these dues immediately after the TDP allied NDA is into power in these elections.

Recalling the services of the former Lok Sabha speaker, the late GMC Balayogi, the TDP supremo said that the coming NDA government will certainly take all measures for the welfare of the downtrodden sections of society. He also promised one MLC post for Madigas and do justice for all other sections.

Praising Pawan Kalyan as a leader who always strives for the betterment of the people, Chandrababu Naidu said that Pawan did not contest the 2014 elections and supported the NDA as he always wants society to prosper. “Now, again we all have come together and Jagan does not dare to even stand before us,” he remarked.

Making a promise to do justice to the Kapu community too, Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people to hit Jagan back in such a way that he should never forget it in his lifetime. Good days are not too far for the State, Chandrababu Naidu said and assured the gathering that the coming NDA government will resolve all the local issues within a short time of forming government.

YSRCP resorting to violence out fear of defeat, says Naidu

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said that the ruling YSR Congress is resorting to violence across the state due to fear of losing the elections. He said that the YSR Congress Party’s defeat is certain and people have already decided to vote the YSR Congress out of power.

He condemned the attack on TDP leader Mohan Rao in Ongole. He said that the YSR Congress leaders have attacked the TDP leader for protecting a TDP woman activist. He alleged that the YSR activists have attacked the woman for no reason. When Mohan Rao tried to protect the woman activist, the YSR Congress leaders attacked Mohan Rao too, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the supporters of local MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy are behind the attack. He said that police remained mute spectators to the attack. He demanded that the SP of Prakasam take action against those who attacked Mohan Rao.

The TDP chief also lodged a complaint against the YSR Congress leaders and the Prakasam district police to the Election Commission. He wanted the EC to react and ensure that the YSR Congress does not attack the TDP leaders. He also wanted the EC to ensure that the police remained neutral and protect people from attacks.

Meanwhile, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh demanded that the police bookcases against MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy’s supporters. He condemned the attack on TDP leaders in Ongole. He said that the police bookcases against the former minister’s supporters.

He said that the TDP leaders were questioning the ruling party leaders for their excess. The YSR Congress leaders have no answer to the questions. He alleged that the YSR Congress leaders were also attacking the women and children.

He appealed to the Prakasam district police to take action against those who attacked the TDP leaders. He asked the Election Commission also to take action against those who attacked the TDP leaders.

Only Jagan has become rich in these 5 years, says Naidu

In the past five years, only Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, could make a fortune in the State, Chandrababu Naidu, former chief minister and TDP president, remarked.

Jagan has been spending Rs 15 cr every day to mobilise the crowd for his meeting through 1500 buses and from where he is getting such a huge amount, Chandrababu Naidu asked while launching the website tdpforandhra.com. The TDP supremo said that during the upcoming bus yatra in the State, Jagan accompanied by the I-PAC team will go for prepaid human angle.

Paying Rs 99,999 as donation for the TDP through this website, Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to the people to donate freely for the party making use of the website. He felt that politics should have educated leaders rather than rich and the landlords and the TDP always moved forward with social justice for the ethical persons.

“We have given high priority for the educated to make them MLAs and MPs and the party always strived for value politics,” he said and pointed out that the TDP does not have party offices in some districts till now. The people always think about the State pre-TDP and after the TDP is formed, he said, adding that the party never built palaces on public property.

Making it clear that the TDP will move forward with a close coordination of the national and State-level BJP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSRCP is well aware that it is losing power and thus resorted to setting on fire the Heritage papers. The YSRCP has released a fake letter online in his name that the Super-Six is withdrawn, Chandrababu Naidu said and felt that this is the goal of the Paytm and 420 batches of the YSRCP.

The phones of all the people are being tapped and a container carrying some secret matters is going to Tadepalli everyday while the vehicles coming from the Tadepalli palace move in a totally different direction, he remarked. Chandrababu Naidu said that the money earned through illegal means is being distributed outside now and even the land records of the people are being changed utilising the technology. The TDP supremo made it clear that all such illegal activities will be checked once the NDA is into power in these elections.

Youth should think twice before going to vote, says Vijay Kumar

0

TDP official spokesman, Neelayapalem Vijay Kumar, on Sunday made a fervent appeal to the voters in the State, particularly to the youth, to think twice before exercising their franchise as development of the State and providing employment to the youth is possible only with the TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Vijay Kumar told media persons that the youth should get their jobs to realise the dreams of their parents and they get proper employment only if Chandrababu Naidu becomes the chief minister again. “If you want jobs Babu should be back as the chief minister,” Vijay Kumar noted.

The youth should ponder over how the State progressed between 2014 and 2019 and how the development has touched its rock-bottom level in the past five years, the TDP leader said. The people should realise the fact that which party in ruling has provided great employment opportunities and invited industrialists to set up their units here and created assets besides providing opportunities for businessmen, he said.

During the TDP regime over 100 industries were established in the State while the YSRCP Government did not even make any attempt to invite industrialists to the State, he remarked. In fact, the YSRCP Government has chased out the existing industries which migrated to the neighbouring States, Vijay Kumar maintained.

Pointing out that the State did not have a capital, the High Court, the Assembly and the Secretariat during the bifurcation, he said, adding that Chandrababu Naidu as the then chief minister of the divided Andhra Pradesh had made strenuous efforts for establishing all these. No doubt, some public sector units were existing in and around Visakhapatnam before the State bifurcation but Chandrababu Naidu made every effort to invite companies to the State providing employment to over five lakh youth in five years, he said.

It all depends on the policies to be adopted by any chief minister for the companies to come to the respective State to set up their units and the industrialists liked the system adopted by Chandarbabu Naidu and thus globally renowned companies like Kia, Hero Honda, Isuzu and several electronic industries have come forward to establish their units in the State, he observed. The chief minister should have a vision but not simply confine oneself to cutting ribbons, he said and noted that even at the age of 70 Mr Chandrababu has made a power-point presentation early in the morning amid severe cold atmosphere at Davos, Vijay Kumar remarked.

Observing that Jagan Mohan Reddy after becoming the Chief Minister has totally destroyed the entire State and even kicked out several existing industrialists from the State, he said that he even made Andhra Pradesh as the State which does not have a capital. Jagan has also created several complications for the farmers movement in Amaravathi who have been fighting for their rights, Vijaya Kumar said.

The TDP officials spokesman made an appeal to the people, particularly the youth, to mull over all these issues before going to exercise their franchise and take a wise decision to vote for the TDP to bring back Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of the State to mould their future. Babu should be back for the youth to get jobs, Vijay Kumar maintained.

Naidu promises full security for Muslims in NDA govt in AP

“I have come before you to assure you all full security as the people of the State are now more worried about their safety and security besides guarantee to their lives,” said TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Pedakurapadu of Palnadu district during the Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu said that he has come before the people along with the support of the Jana Sena and the BJP as he is keen that the anti-incumbency vote should not get divided. “Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, has already given a call to the people that they all should join hands to get the State rid of this evil. The TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP joined hands keeping in view the future of all of you ,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Stating that great injustice is done for Muslims in the past five years during the YSRCP rule, Chandrababu Naidu assured the community that he will personally take the responsibility of their safety and security. Calling upon the people to vote for the NDA for the future of the country and the State, he wanted everyone to take this as his assurance to them.

The local TDP leader, Kommalapati Sridhar, has always worked for the party, he said that the people of this segment are lucky enough to have such a leader with them. Since Bhashyam Praveen has been fielded as the NDA candidate from here as 40 per cent of the voters are the youth, Chandrababu promised MLC for Kommalapati Sridhar.

The five-year rule of the YSRCP is a nightmare for the people of the State, he said that the power-hungry Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, does not mind even taking away the lives of the people to remain in power. Jagan is looting the State in all ways and the sand has become a money spinning business for him as the local contractors are paying Rs 4,000 for every truck load of sand, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

The atrocities against all sections have gone up in the State in the past five years, he said that a local YSRCP leader called a Muslim woman a thief when she was coming back home after performing namaz at a local masjid. When this has happened for an innocent Muslim woman one can easily imagine what will be the fate of others, he said.

The TDP has been partner of the NDA since 2014, but no injustice was done to any Muslim during that TDP regime, Chandrababu said, adding that his is a vision while Jagan’s is a poison. Had Amaravathi been completed the State would have got Rs one lakh crore revenue every year, Chandrababu Naidu said and regretted that Jagan has totally destroyed everything, including Amaravathi.

Pointing out that Lavu Krishnadevarayalu, who was with the YSRCP till recently, has quit the party and joined the TDP as he wants Amaravathi to be developed, the TDP supremo said that if the youth want jobs Babu should be back in power and if anyone wants ganja Jagan should be supported. The Minister for Water Resources does not have even basic knowledge about the portfolio, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that not even a single farmer in the State is happy now.

“My thinking is always 20 years forward than the youth. In 2000 I gave a call for Vision-2020 and I strongly feel that by 2047 the country will be number one in the world in development in all sectors,” the former chief minister observed. Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the Super-Six will certainly transform the lives of everyone in the State.

The TDP supremo suspected that the Congress is making every effort to ensure that the YSRCP votes are not divided. Chandrababu Naidu also promised to do justice to the Madigas even after categorisation of the community. He also promised to develop Pedakurapadu in all sectors.

RK blocked Mangalagiri development with court cases, says Lokesh

0

Mangalagiri sitting MLA, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, has created obstructions for the development of the area by filing cases before the courts and the seed access road connecting Amaravathi with Mangalagiri is the best example of this, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Sunday.

If Ramakrishna Reddy has any commitment to develop Mangalagiri he should immediately withdraw the cases pending before the courts, Lokesh said while interacting with the residents of RR Rachana Apartments and nearby areas in Kolanukonda as part of the election campaign in the Assembly segment. “I am promising you all that within a short period of the people’s government formed I will take measures to complete all the roads linking the State capital Amaravathi,” Lokesh said.

The TDP general secretary is confident that once the Amaravathi reconstruction is started by the coming TDP allied NDA government in the State, lakhs of youth will get employment opportunities. Lokesh made an appeal to the youth and intellectual community to think how the development of the State got totally damaged by electing Jagan Mohan Reddy as the Chief Minister, who sought one chance.

Jagan is interested in building palaces at every town than on developing the State, he remarked. Calling Ramakrishna Reddy as the Karakatta Kamal Hassan, the TDP national general secretary said that the MLA is misleading the people by claiming that there are no opportunities for the industries to be set up in Mangalagiri. If that is the case and if RK is correct how the Information Technology (IT) companies launched their own units in Mangalagiri during the TDP regime between 2014 and 2019, he asked.

Lokesh felt that commitment is needed to develop any area and said that though the TDP is not in power now he managed to get an IT company to set up its unit in Mangalagiri thus providing an opportunity to the youth to get 150 jobs. “I have implemented 29 various welfare schemes with my own funds but what RK who has enjoyed power for 25 years did for the area” he questioned.

Asking whether RK has taken at least 10 per cent of the developmental works till now that he has undertaken in the past five years except imposing heavy financial burden on the Tadepalli-Mangalagiri people in the name of upgrading it as a corporation, Lokesh said that if he is elected as MLA now he will take up more developmental works making the Assembly segment as number one in the country. Lokesh also promised to provide employment opportunities to the goldsmiths by setting up a gold cluster here.

This apart, Lokesh assured the youth that he will also provide maximum employment opportunities to them by inviting various IT companies to establish their units in this area. The residents of Kolanukonda wanted approach roads to be built connecting Amaravati which Lokesh promised to take up immediately after coming to power.

Observing that the ruling dispensation is deliberately creating some hurdles to the people here to prevent them from exercising their franchise, Lokesh made an appeal to them to go the polling booths and utilise the right to vote. The coming TDP allied NDA government is going to decide the future of the State and the people, he added.

Land Titling Act will take properties under pledge, says Naidu

0

If the Land Titling Act comes into force the properties of all the people will be under mortgage, said TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday and promised to rescind the Act immediately after the TDP allied NDA come\s to power in the State in these elections.

Chandrababu Naidu said at a massive public meeting at Narsapuram during the Praja Galam campaign that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has no minimum respect for the farmers and has no basic knowledge on the problems being faced by the farming sector. The TDP supremo promised Rs 20,000 financial assistance per annum to every farmer soon after the NDA is into power.

Jagan is filling the exchequer by selling spurious liquor claiming the innocent lives of several people resulting in women becoming widows, Chandrababu Naidu regretted. “I am assuring you all that once the NDA forms the coming government all such fake brands of liquor will thoroughly be checked saving the lives of innocent people,” he added.

Expressing serious concern that all the sectors in the State are in deep crisis now, the TDP supremo said that the lives of the youth too is in total darkness. “I am promising 20 lakh jobs to the youth in the coming five years and till they get employment Rs 3,000 each will be paid as unemployment allowance per month till they get jobs,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

This apart, he said he is confident that the Super Six schemes will certainly bring a glow in the lives of everyone in the State. Chandrababu Naidu also promised to bring the past glory to the aqua sector which is crucial for this area. The present economic condition of the State is so bad that the salaries of the government employees have not been paid yet though it is already 5th of this month on Friday.

At least pensions are not being paid for the old taking away their lives and Jagan is such a kind of person, he remarked. Chandrababu Naidu promised immediate action against those who illegally grabbed the lands of the people and subsidy on diesel, boats and other material will be revived by the coming NDA government.

Jagan destroyed Andhra Pradesh, says Naidu

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday alleged that chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed Andhra Pradesh. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had promoted cheap liquor, ganja, and drugs in the state. He said that the chief minister had made Andhra Pradesh as the capital of the drugs.

Speaking at a public meeting in Narsapuram, Chandrababu Naidu emphasised the need to send Jagan Mohan Reddy home. He wanted the people to defeat the YSR Congress in the coming general election.

The TDP chief felt that the YSR Congress should have the axe as its symbol and not the fan. He said that they have axed their uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy before the 2019 general election. He wanted to know whom Jagan Mohan Reddy would kill in this election.

Chandrababu Naidu accused the chief minister of going for highest ever borrowings in the state. He alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy had drowned the state in debts. There was no possibility of bringing the state back to the track for next thirty years, Chandrababu Naidu said.

Borrowings had become the agenda of Jagan Mohan Reddy for five years. There was not a single month when the state government restrained from going for borrowings, he said. He also maintained that it would take thirty years for the TDP to streamline the state’s economy.

He said that the TDP, BJP and Jana Sena have joined hands to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy. He doesn’t want even a single anti-Jagan vote to go to waste. He wanted everyone in the state to work for the defeat of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP is known for development and welfare. He said that only the TDP would bring investments and industries to the state. He also said that the TDP government would encourage youth to get better jobs in the private sector. Hyderabad was promoted as the employment centre during the TDP regime, he said.

The TDP chief wanted the people to give 160 Assembly seats to the TDP in the coming elections. He asserted that the TDP would work hard to develop the state and create employment opportunities for the youth.

Naidu demands Jagan’s resignation taking responsibility for pensioners deaths

0

TDP president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday demanded that Jagan Mohan Reddy shoulder the responsibility for the deaths of the pensioners and opt out as the Chief Minister.

Chandrababu Naidu told media persons at Nallajerla in East Godavari district that for his political benefits Jagan has hatched conspiracies claiming the innocent lives of the pensioners. Jagan has the habit of resorting to cheap politics even on dead bodies, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

Promising to pay Rs 4,000 monthly pension to every household immediately after coming to power, the former chief minister made it clear that the revised pension will be applicable from the month of April itself and the dues for April, May and June will be paid immediately. “I will be the eldest son of every house and will distribute the pension directly at your doorstep,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Chandrabau Naidu said that he always thinks about the welfare of society while Jagan has only selfish-ends and stated that Jagan has been claiming innocent lives and taking wild pleasure from it. “We should always seek votes by doing good things for the people but not by resorting to misinformation campaign,” he added.

Maintaining that Jagan had earlier emerged victorious in the polls by killing his own paternal uncle and passing the buck on the TDP, Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan has utilised even the death of his own father for his political gains. Now, becoming responsible for the death of several innocent pensioners, he is again trying to win these elections, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

Asking as to why the pensions were not paid on 1st of this month, he felt that with the fear of losing power he borrowed huge amount of money and cleared the Rs 13,000 cr worth of pending bills of the contractors. The Election Commission did not say that the pensions should not be distributed at the doorstep but only ordered that the services of the volunteers should not be utilised for this purpose, Chandrababu Naidu clarified.

Making it clear that the TDP does not oppose the volunteer system, he said the system will be continued by the TDP too after coming to power. Since this Government is not coming back to power, the coming TDP allied NDA government will not take back those volunteers who have already submitted their resignations. The YSRCP Government is using the volunteers for its political advantage and making them fall victims for the selfishness of the ruling party leaders, he stated.

The TDP has the patent rights on the pensions as it was the party founder, the late NT Rama Rao, who introduced the scheme with Rs 30 per month for each beneficiary, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that after he came to power he increased it to Rs 75 while the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy as the then chief minister had revised it again in 2004 to Rs 200. “Again when I came back to power in 2014 I increased it to Rs 1,000 and again revised it to Rs 2,000 as the cost of living has gone up,” the TDP supremo recalled.

Calling Jagan as the most selfish person under the sky, Chandrababu Naidu said that it is the TDP allied NDA that is going to come to power in these elections and advised the officials not to get into trouble by violating the norms to temporarily satisfy the ruling party leaders.

My first signature will be to resume the volunteer system, says Jagan

0

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said his first signature would be to reinstate the volunteer system after forming the government while noting that TDP Chief Chandrababu Nadu was responsible for the death of 31 old age people who lost their lives after trying to get the pension from the village secretariats amidst the rising the temperature.

Addressing the public meeting organized in Naidupeta as part of his Memantha Siddham Yatra on Thursday, the Chief Minister asked the people whether they are ready to fight the evil that stands in the way of doing good for the state of Andhra Pradesh.

“The battle of Kurukshetra is between the YSRCP government, which works for the welfare of the people like empowerment of women through various initiatives including registration of 31 lakh house titles, and the opposition who prevent the government from doing any good to the people,” said the Chief Minister Jagan.

Coming down heavily on Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister Jagan said, “He (Chandrababu Naidu) could not bear that the government has been giving pensions on time through volunteers, so he used his men to urge the Election Commission to stop the volunteers from disbursing the pension.” The Chief Minister also noted that he would come back to power on June 4, and the first signature would be to bring back the volunteer system.

“We are committed to providing quality education to underprivileged children by providing English medium in government schools. Further, Chandrababu Naidu gave only fraudulent promises, and we don’t make any such promises nor compete with his ‘kichadi’ manifesto,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

“The Janma Bhoomi committee brought by TDP was marred with corruption. The people were forced to pay bribes to get ration, and pensions, and to get toilets constructed in villages. But the volunteer system introduced by the YSRCP government efficiently delivered all welfare schemes without corruption,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

The Chief Minister also explained the unfulfilled promises of Chandrababu Naidu like waiving farm loans, a job in every household, financial assistance to unemployed youth, and so on. “Once again Naidu is coming up with fake promises to deceive the people of the state. Are you all ready to safeguard the future of the poor from Naidu’s deception?” asks the Chief Minister to the crowd.

Raghurama says he would contest in the coming elections

Narsapuram MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju had said that he would contest the coming general election. He told the media persons in Vijayawada that he would soon announce the constituency from which he would contest.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju offered prayers at Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada on Wednesday evening. He said he had come to the city to pray to the presiding deity to bless the TDP, BJP and Jana Sena alliance in the elections.

He said he would be in the election battle this time. However, he said he was not sure whether he would contest the Parliament seat or the Assembly seat. There would be clarity on the issue in the next couple of days, the Narasapuram MP said.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju aspired for Narsapuram Parliament seat either from the BJP or from the TDP. However, the seat went to the BJP in alliance. The BJP had announced the candidature of Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma as its candidate. This had closed the doors for Raghurama Krishnam Raju to contest.

He was upset with the BJP not giving him the ticket. He expected the BJP to name him from the constituency. However, as the BJP named Varma, he alleged that chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy prevailed upon the BJP leadership not to give him ticket.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju is now looking at the TDP to give him the ticket. He said that the TDP has the responsibility to give him the ticket and ensure that he is elected to the Assembly or Parliament.

He did not join the TDP or the BJP. He did not even join the Jana Sena for that matter. However, he is expecting the TDP to give him the ticket. He asserted that the TDP would give him the ticket even though he did not join the party.

“There was no rule that one should join the party to get a ticket. The TDP had given a ticket to the Telangana BJP leader at Bapatla,” Raghurama Krishnam Raju told the media persons. It is to be seen if the TDP would give him the ticket or not.

“Are you ready to help me with a ‘double-century’ government?” Jagan asks people

0

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has called the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu a ‘sadist’ for stopping the volunteers from delivering the pension on people’s doorstep, which irked the senior citizens and old age people, and asked the public to take revenge on TDP on May 13 (Polling Day) at the public meeting near Puthalapattu as part of his Memantha Siddham Yatra on Wednesday.

Addressing the crowd gathered in the arena, the Chief Minister said, “Seeing the elderly people suffer today since they couldn’t walk to collect their pensions, I can’t help but wonder if Chandrababu Naidu possesses any humanity or if he’s a sadist since he stalled the volunteers from disbursing the pension by approaching the Election Commission.”

He asked the crowd whether they were ready for this war to protect the future of the poor. “Go to every household and ask them if they have benefited from the welfare schemes,” said Chief Minister Jagan while noting that YSRCP would reinstate the volunteer system once they come back to power.

“This is a war between Chandrababu Naidu, who is a habitual liar and cheat, and Jagan on the other side, who does everything for the people. Are you ready to help me win 175/175 assembly seats and 25/25 Lok Sabha seats to defeat the corrupt? Are you ready to help me with a double-century government?” Jagan asks the energetic crowd.

“People gave them (TDP) an opportunity in the past to do good but did they fulfill it? Have an open discussion amongst yourselves and make a conscious decision. People should discuss what they (Chandrababu’s government) provided in their 10-year rule. Check your bank statement from earlier years. Were you able to find even a single scheme through which Naidu deposited one rupee in your account,” said the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also explained the schemes introduced by the YSRCP government from village secretariats, revolutionizing government schools, village clinics, DBT to women beneficiaries, Rythu Bharosa Kendras to help farmers to other doorstep delivery services to help the people.

“We are the only state which provides pensions to 66 lakh people. Further, we gave Rs 34,370 crores to the farmers (Rythu Bharosa), and free crop insurance of Rs. 7,800 crores was paid. Through input subsidy, the farmers were given Rs. 3,262 crores. And in total, only through DBT, Rs 2.7 lakh crores were directly deposited in the beneficiary accounts under various welfare schemes,” said the Chief Minister.

On the 7th day of the Memantha Siddham Yatra Chief Minister started his roadshow from Sadum Mandal in the morning and proceeded via Kallur, Damalacheruvu, Gundlapalli, Talaupulapalli, Tenepalli to Pulalapattu where he addressed the public meeting. After the meeting, he started towards the night halt at Renigunta in Tirupati via Gollapalli, Gadanki, Kongaravari Palem, and Mamanduru.

Naidu terms Jagan as Dalit traitor as 188 Dalits were killed in 5 years

0

Terming Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a traitor of Dalits, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, said here on Saturday that at least 188 persons belonging to the Dalit community have been killed in various parts of the State in the past five years while 11,000 Dalits have been subjected to various kinds of attacks.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Naidupet of Sullurpet Assembly segment in Tirupati district as part of the Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu expressed the opinion that the people will not excuse him for the blunders that he had committed in these five years. “Give rest to Jagan by defeating him in these elections as this is the only lesson that the people can teach him for his blunders,” the TDP supremo remarked.

Asking the massive gathering whether they want a leader who can create assets and distribute them among the people or a leader who can lead the State towards bankruptcy, Chandrababu Naidu promised to build houses for the poor by distributing them two cents of land each. Cheered at the positive response from the huge gathering, the TDP supremo expressed confidence that the NDA victory is certain in the State.

Stating that Lord Krishna excused Sisupala despite committing 100 mistakes, he said Jagan, however, had committed 1,000 blunders and asked whether the people will excuse him for which they unitedly said ‘no’. “I am happy at your tremendous response and this should lay the foundation for the victory of the alliance in the State,” Chandrababu Naidu noted.

Justice is not done to a single person in Jagan’s rule, he said and added that this is the basic reason as to why everyone is angry at Jagan. Making an appeal to the people to extend their support to the Tirupati candidate of the alliance, Vara Prasada Rao, and Vijaya Sri, the daughter of Nelavala Subrahmanyam, who is contesting from Sullurpet Assembly segment, Chandrababu Naidu said that industries were set up in the State to prevent migrations of the youth during the TDP regime, this Chief Minister chased them out throwing the future of the youth into oblivion.

Reiterating that the coming NDA government will take all measures for the welfare of all sections, including bringing in a legislation for the safety of the BCs, supply of safe drinking water to every doorstep and payment of Rs 4,000 monthly pension for all the eligible, the former chief minister said that assets will be created and distributed to the poor. Observing that Surllurpet is a bastion of Dalits, Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan has totally deceived the community and even withdrew the welfare schemes implemented during the TDP regime.

Making an appeal to the people to vote for the alliance candidates and bring the NDA to power both at the Centre and in the State, Chandrababu Naidu assured the gathering that all the promises made to them will be implemented on a warfooting basis and employment opportunities will be provided for the youth.

Praja Galam is shining while Sidhham is fading, says Naidu

While the Praja Galam meetings are beaming with heavy glow the Sidhham meetings of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, are fading away, observed the TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday.

Addressing a colossal public gathering as part of the Praja Galam election campaign, Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan is an egoist and highly corrupt with destructive attitude. Stating that several industries have been set up at Renigunta during the TDP regime, the former chief minister said that after the YSRCP came to power these leaders have begun extortions of these industrialists.

Steps were also initiated for temple tourism of Titupati, Srikalahasti and Kanipakam, he said “our’s is welfare while Jagan’s is creating a crisis.” The YSRCP rule is filled with commissions, land grabbings and rowdyism, Chandrababu Naidu said and expressed confidence that the people are thus ready to teach a lesson to Jagan.

Maintaining that the State witnessed industrial development only during the TDP regime, Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that there is no question of excusing anyone who had committed blunders to damage the State. “As the chief minister of the State I have taken stringent steps to check smuggling of red sanders while Mr Jagan has fielded the red sanders smuggler as the Chittoor Assembly candidate,” the TDP supremo said.

Expressing concern that even attempts are being made to pollute the highly sacred Tirumala temple which is famous globally, Chandrababu Naidu promised to establish a totally corrupt-free government after these elections. Fondly recalling the steps that he had taken to develop Hyderabad, the former chief minister said that today the city is in a number one position in the world because of his vision.

Assuring the youth that Mega DSC will be notified immediately after he takes charge as the chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu said that steps will also be taken for the protection of the poor and for their health. Reiterating his commitment to build houses for the poor in two cents, Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the ongoing colonies will be continued. “I will take the State towards the golden era from the stone era and I will be the driver of the State,” he added.

What is most important is that Chandrababu Naidu promised to convert Chennai, Tirupati and Nellore as tri-cities and will bring the State back on track. He also made it clear that those who had committed any kind of mistake will not be spared. Chandrababu Naidu told the people that the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP have come together only in the interest of the people and assured them that he will take the State much forward on a fast pace.

Women hold protest with empty pots in Jagan tour

0

Hundreds of women held a protest with empty pots in chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bus yatra in Kurnool district on Saturday. The women holding empty pots walked towards the bus in which Jagan Mohan Reddy was travelling at Jonnagiri village of Thuggali mandal in Kurnool district.

The women said that they have drinking water problem in the village. No party had addressed the issue so far, they said. They further blamed the chief minister for not attending to their problem in the last five years. They wanted the chief minister to resolve the issue without further delay.

The security personnel and the ruling YSR Congress leaders tried to stop the women approaching the bus. As they did not go back or stop moving forward, Jagan Mohan Reddy finally got down from the bus and interacted with some women.

The women complained to the chief minister that they have no drinking water in the village. They said that they have been giving representations to every leader. The issue is to be addressed without further delay, they said.

The chief minister told them that he would look into the issue. He further told them that he would resolve the issue and give them drinking water. It was then the women gave the way to the chief minister to move forward in the bus.

The issue shocked the ruling party leaders in Kurnool district. The chief minister was angry at the party’s local leaders for allowing the women to hold a protest in front of him. He wondered why the leaders allowed the women to come on to the roads with empty pots.

The chief minister told the party leaders to resolve the issue before it becomes an election issue. He advised the leaders to take care of such issues before his bus moves forward. He said he does not want to see such protests in future. He further told them that such protests would give negative publicity for the party.

Take forward YSRCP success story, Jagan tells people

0

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called upon the people to tale forward the success story of YSRCP by giving it a clean sweep of 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats and rejecting the anti-people combine of TDP, Jana Sena and BJP in the forthcoming elections.

Addressing a huge public meeting here on Thursday on the second day of the ‘Memanta Siddham’ poll campaign, the Chief Minister urged people to take forward the winning streak of YSRCP while showing the exit door to the opposition from politics.

For the first time in the country, the poor in Andhra Pradesh are experiencing due respect in the last 58 months, he said, adding that Government spent Rs. 2.7 lakh crore implementing various welfare schemes for ushering in their social and economic empowerment while TDP pursued the policy of plunder, stash and devour and is hatching conspiracies hand in glove with Jana Sena and BJP to exploit the people again.

Describing the sea of humanity that thronged the public meeting as the YSRCP people’s army, he said that people across the State are ready to teach a fitting lesson to the TDP-led alliance to ensure that anti-people Government doesn’t come to power again.

Listing out various welfare schemes like Amma Vodi, YSR Cheyutha, Aasara, Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Vasathi Deevena, Rythu Bharosa, Kapu Nestham, delivery of monthly social pensions at door-step and EBC Nestham, he asked the people to think why Chandrababu Naidu failed to implement similar schemes during his rule.

Telling the people that revolutionary changes took place in the last 58 months in educational, medical and health and agricultural sectors to improve educational standards of students, provide preventive health care with village clinics and family doctors and handhold the farmers at every step through RBKs, the Chief Minister asked the people to assess why Naidu failed to carry out similar reforms.
Recalling how TDP defaulted and cheated people on promises of waiver of farm and self-help group loans, Maha Lakshmi and Kuteera Lakshmi schemes, jobs for the youth and stipend for the unemployed and three-cents of house sites for the poor after winning 2014 polls in alliance with Jana Sena and BJP and distributing signed election manifestoes, he said they have ganged up again to take people for a ride once again.

Besides implementing slew of welfare schemes and reforms in several sectors, Government is also building 17 new medical colleges, four sea ports and 10 fishing harbors and brining in investments to put the State on path of development, he said, adding that new districts have been carved out and three Capitals were proposed for decentralized growth.

He told the people that, despite ruling the State for 14 years, Chandrababu Naidu did not work even to bring about a meagre five percent change of what he did in the last 58 months.

It is in the hands of people to decide whether they want the door-to-door welfare and development saga to continue for the next five years by electing YSRCP back to power or take the State backwards by 10 years by electing the TDP and its allies.

The Chief Minister said that the ensuing polls are a battle between justice led by YSRCP and injustice led by TDP and its allies and called upon the people not to fall prey to the conspiracies being hatched by TDP in cahoots with Jana Sena and BJP to deprive the poor of their welfare benefits.

It is only after YSRCP came to power that election manifestoes gained credibility, the Chief Minister said, adding that Chandrababu brand stands for cheating all sections of people.

There is nothing great about TDP or its political allies except for taking people for a ride, he said and urged them to vote back the YSRCP to power in the ensuing elections to continue the welfare and development saga.
