Pawan burning all bridges too early?

0

Janasena chief Pawan who recently fired salvos at ruling TDP and its leaders spoke to national media yesterday. After listening to what he spoke one gets a doubt whether he is burning all the bridges too early. He already “burned the bridge” connecting with TDP, now he did the same with BJP too.

Pawan Kalyan, while speaking to national media, ruled out any alliance with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. After targeting TDP during his speech , Pawan Kalyan has once again targeted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son whom he has accused of “indulging in widespread corruption”. While speaking about any possible alliance with BJP, he told, “Currently, the image of the BJP in the state is completely negative. Nobody in his right frame of mind will partner with the BJP at this time.” Though it is good to see Pawan clearly saying he will not allign with BJP (at the moment), one gets a doubt whether he is burning all the bridges too early.

Generally politicians always keep their options open though they criticize other parties. Babu kept his option with NDA till last moment. Jagan keeping doors open with Congress and BJP. But it seems, Pawan is burning good Bridges too early. With his meeting speech, now he can’t align with TDP. Now he gave clarity about BJP also. While Chiranjeevi failed due to his overtly passive nature, Pawan seems to be showing unnecessary aggression and burning all political Bridges too early.

AP BJP leaders to fly to Delhi tomorrow!

0

The Bharatiya Janata Party has joined the game. For the last two weeks, it has been either TDP or YSRCP MPs all the way. Though Arun Jaitley and a couple of BJP leaders did make controversial comments, the Andhra MPs were the ones who actively participated.

With things going out of the board, and TDP exiting NDA alliance, it looks like BJP has realized it needs to put an end to all this. At this juncture, the AP BJP leaders, MP Kambhampati Hari Babu, MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju, and MLC Somu Veerraju received a call from the BJP High Command.

The AP BJP leaders will fly to New Delhi tomorrow morning. Close sources confirmed that BJP leaders will share key insights about the latest political developments in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Kadapa Steel Plant, Vishakhapatnam Railway Zone, AP Revenue Deficit, and other aspects are likely to be a part of the meeting between AP BJP leaders and BJP High Command.

At the same time, AP BJP leaders will also be giving a clear picture of BJP’s position in the state. Even people opinion on BJP, amid recent political developments, is likely to be discussed in Delhi tomorrow.

Chandrababu Naidu’s 4-in-1 Attack!

1

For the first time after the 2014 AP Assembly elections, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu made sensational comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Given the recent political developments in AP state politics, Chandrababu Naidu pointed his barrel towards BJP and Modi.

Talking to the media personnel in Amaravati, CM Chandrababu Naidu said that, ‘there is a rise in opposition against PM Modi and BJP party in the people of the nation. The recent results of Gorakhpur and Phulpur Lok Sabha by-polls are a clear example of it. The victory of SP-BSP alliance over BJP is an undeniable evidence ofanti-Modi and anti-BJP wave in the country.

BJP thinks that it could do something in Andhra Pradesh. Its efforts will fail. There is a high possibility of BJP backing up Pawan Kalyan and Janasena Party. BJP’s backing of Pawan Kalyan and YS Jagan, and encouraging them to criticize me exposes the true nature of the BJP party’.

It is really shocking to see how TDP’s and Chandrababu Naidu’s stance towards Pawan Kalyan and Janasena Party have changed overnight.

KTR puts Chandrababu Naidu in place!

0

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ram Rao has given a subtle warning to AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing the Assembly a couple of days ago, CBN made a mention of Arjun Jaitley’s ‘sentiments will not increase the quantum of funds’. In his counter, CBN said, isn’t it true that because of sentiment only Telangana was given?
The same has been posted on CBN’s official Twitter handle; @ncbn. Reacting on this, KTR said that they fought for Telangana, and never flip-flopped their demand for statehood.

He also made it clear that, during the Telangana movement, the Centre has offered a special package, and they were never settled with them. KTR requested Chandrababu Naidu not to belittle and undermine the struggle and sacrifices of people of Telangana.

Looking from KTR’s point of view, one can feel that, what he has said is absolutely true. In fact, when the Centre said that, it would give Special Package to AP instead of granting Special Category Status, Chandrababu Naidu and his team of ministers readily agreed. From that very moment, the Centre said that it would not grant the Special Category Status.

Will start Amarana Nirahara Deeksha – Hero Sivaji

0

Hero Sivaji has been leading the ‘Special Category Status’ movement right from the very first day. In Andhra Pradesh, announced that he will start fast-until-death (Amarana Nirahara Deeksha) for AP Special Category Status. Talking to the media, he said, ‘if AP SCS is not granted before the Parliament Budget are completed, I will start fasting-until-death.

PM Modi deceived the people of Andhra Pradesh. What’s pathetic is that he backstabbed us. From now on, if someone deceives anyone, let us ask, are you human? Or Modi?’.

Sivaji took the attack even to the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu. ‘We have been telling Chandrababu Naidu that, Venkaiah Naidu will fooling us regarding the Special Package. We are fighting for the Special Category Status, not for us. It is for the future generation of Andhra Pradesh.
I know that Telugu people are clever, and will teach everyone a lesson. The Centre should spend taxes it receives from a state, for the development of that particular state itself,’ said Sivaji.

Breaking News: No Visakhapatnam Railway Zone

1

The Centre once again gave a shock to Andhra Pradesh. The Centre confirmed that, given the current circumstances, Visakhapatnam Railway Zone is not possible. A press note regarding the same has been released by Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary, Dinesh Kumar. ‘According to the report received from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Visakhapatnam Railway Zone is not possible,’ said Dinesh Kumar.

The latest move comes at a time when the Parliament sessions are being stalled by the TDP MPs ‘AP Special Category Status’ protests. Along with the people of the state, all political parties are protesting against the Centre.

Recently, Arun Jaitley has made it clear that Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh cannot be granted. Instead, the Centre is ready to fulfil all the promises made in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.

‘Visakhapatnam Railway Zone will be created, and Visakhapatnam will be made the Headquarters. It will be only possible by the BJP government,’ said the BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju in the AP Assembly recently.

It looks like the Centre has started its vengeance against the state of Andhra Pradesh, thanks to our glorified politicians.

TDP MPs give notices to Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha!

0

Former Cabinet Ministers Sujana Chowdary and Ashok Gajapathi Raju have given notices in the both the Parliament Houses. The notices are issued (in both the houses) as a part of the protests against the Centre, for not granting the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. Ashok Gajapathi Raju issued the notice under Lok Sabha Article 199.

The former Aviation Cabinet Minister will be explaining the reasons for resigning from his Cabinet Ministry. Meanwhile, another former cabinet minister Sujana Chowdary gave notice in the Rajya Sabha under Rajya Sabha Article 199. Even Sujana Chowdary will list out the reasons behind his resignation.

Meanwhile, in a teleconference, Chandrababu Naidu advised the TDP MPs to continue their protests in both the houses. Sources close to the CM office confirmed that Chandrababu Naidu reportedly asked the MPs not to hesitate, even if they get suspended from the house.

At the same time, talking to the media, AP CM CBN criticised YSRCP for its double stance. ‘If they have so much confidence in Modi, then why are they encouraging everyone to put no-confidence motion? Then what is the necessity to resign?’, questioned Chandrababu Naidu.

TDP to bring out booklet on Centre’s injustice to Andhra

4

The TDP, which has pulled out its two ministers from the Modi government, is now gearing up to expose the raw deal meted out by the Centre to Andhra Pradesh since the bifurcation of the state.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is bringing out a booklet highlighting what the Centre had promised in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 and what was promised by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Parliament and what the Centre had actually done in the last four years.

The Telugu version of the booklet titled “What Justice Did Centre do to Andhra Pradesh? What Happened to Promises Made in Parliament?” is reportedly ready.

A party source said the book is also being translated into Hindi and English for wide circulation among the political parties across the country.

The 50-page booklet touches upon promises made including Polavaram irrigation project, special category status for the state (promised by then Prime Minister in Rajya Sabha), building of world class capital at Amaravati and various other projects.

It also talks about the failure of the Centre to implement what was promised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 2014 election campaigns.

The exercise indicates the further widening of the gap between the TDP and the BJP.

On Thursday, the TDP withdrew its two Central Ministers P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju (Civil Aviation) and Y.S. Chowdary (Minister of State for Science and Technology) from the government, protesting the refusal of the Centre to oblige its demands for grant of special category status to Andhra Pradesh along with some other benefits.

BJP Ministers Kamineni Srinivas (Medical and Health) and P. Manikyala Rao (Endowments) also resigned from the Chandrababu Naidu government the same day.

Prof K Nageshwar — Did Jagan precipitate Chandrababu’s exit from NDA?

Everyone expected the exit of TDP from NDA to be an acrimonious affair with both the parties accusing each other in a violent manner. The mutual allegations by leaders of the both the parties strengthened such a speculation. In fact, political circles thought that TDP which has been protesting in Parliament over the raw deal meted out to Andhra Pradesh would make it a grand gala affair with fire crackers so that the party can effectively communicate to the people why it has to divorce BJP. But, nothing of that sort happened. The TDP ministers said nothing critical of BJP except asserting that the state has not received what is due for it. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu in his farewell speech praised the contribution of BJP ministers in his cabinet. The BJP ministers especially Kamineni Srinivas who is considered to be more close to TDP than BJP despite being the latter’s representative, has applauded that Naidu is the real harbinger of development in the State. What signifies the unprecedented bonhomie between BJP and TDP even at the time of estrangement?

Political observers interpret that Naidu is moving out of Modi ministry more due to political compulsions rather than ideological aversion. In fact, a BJP leader acknowledged that Naidu is forced to give up his alliance with his party only because of Jaganmohan Reddy. This is in fact a candid admission of a political reality.

Naidu was caught in a typical Hamletian dilemma of ‘to be or not to be’ with NDA. He actually wanted to strike but not wound the BJP led central government. This is precisely the reason why the TDP was the first to raise the mantle of protest against the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh in the latest Union Budget. Naidu wanted to derive the maximum political financial benefit from the centre by protesting as much as he can. But, precisely here, the opposition YSR Congress leader has fired a salvo by announcing a proactive programme of protest including the resignation of his party MPs on the last day of the budget session. Besides, Jaganmohan Reddy raised the issue of special category status, the demand which Naidu has already disowned. This created a political compulsion for the TDP to take a call. It cannot confine to the resignation of MPs as the idea was patented by Jagan and there is no meaning in resigning from parliament while continuing in the ruling alliance at the Centre. Thus, the TDP has to advance its decision and seek the withdrawal of its ministers to outsmart Jaganmohan Ruddy. In all likelihood, the TDP would even exit NDA to rob the shine out of Jaganmohan Ready’s political spectacle of MPs resigning.

Thus the political circles feel that Jaganmohan Reddy actually precipitated the TDP’s decision to quit the NDA. Whether or not the TDP would have done this independent of Jagan’s action is a million dollar question. But, Jagan’s posturing hastened the process of TDP’s withdrawal from Modi dispensation and ultimately from the BJP led NDA.

YSRCP’s true nature exposed on national media!

0

YSRCP MP (Rajya Sabha) Vijay Sai Reddy made key statement during his interview with national media (India Today). Vijay Sai Reddy interview by famous journalist Rajdeep Sardesai. During the interview, the YSRCP MP made it clear that the party is ready to form an alliance with BJP, and believes that only BJP can grant Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

He further went on to say, ‘our leader YS Jagan made his stance very clear. We will only support the party that gives Special Category Status. There is no going back in this context’.

To this, Rajdeep countered by asking, ‘even Congress announced that it would granted Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh once it comes into power. Then will you support congress too?’

For which, Vijay Sai Reddy said, ‘there is no way we can trust the Congress. We have confidence that PM Modi will agree for AP Special Status’.

Meanwhile, many political analysts feel that the recent interview once again exposed YSRCP from in and out. ‘If they have so much faith on PM Modi and BJP, in view of granting Special Category Status to AP, then why are they calling for ano-confidence motion in the parliament?’, questioned a political analyst.

Arun Jaitley and ApSCS – A saga of forgotten promises !

    0

Union finance minister of India Mr. Arun Jaitley in recent times has been vehemently opposing special category status nor a special financial package to Andhra Pradesh. His arrogant pressmeet in this regard has caused a stir in the state politics.

Heads of current BJP government , Narendra Modi, then Rajyasabha leaders Venkayya Naidu and Arun Jaitley used to be completely in favor of Andhra Pradesh , they promised moon when they were in opposition. The story took U turn once they captured power , tunes were changed after their NDA got solid support from the people of state of Andhra Pradesh.

Let us quickly recap the excerpts from Arun Jaitley own blog from Times Of India dated February 21st 2014 ; In an article titled : BJP and the division of Andhra Pradesh he wrote :

    •  How do you balance the interests of Seemandhra? How do you highlight the issue that the government has gone wrong in the process of creation of Telangana?
    • On the floor of the Rajya Sabha we were, therefore, able to extract from the government the commitment that Seemandhra would get a special category status for five years, investments in Seemandhra would attract tax incentives on the lines made available to other states, a backward region package would be given for districts of Rayalseema and north coastal Andhra Pradesh
    • If any further demand needs to be pursued such as a support from the Centre in building a new capital for Seemandhra, the BJP will play a positive role in facilitating this aspiration also.

In another article titled Telangana: How UPA blundered in the whole process (dated Feb 20th 2014 )  Arun Jaitley stated :

    • It must be ensured through a statutory protection that the special packages and incentives compensate the Seemandhra region for the loss of revenue being caused by the bifurcation of the original state of Andhra Pradesh

Now when BJP leaders have all powers on this earth to fulfill their own views, words  they reversed the rhetoric. Finally BJP had cheated Andhra Pradesh , Mr. Jaitley’s arrogant tone in yesterday’s pressmeet caused insult to the poeple of Andhra Pradesh. Rubbing salt to the wounds, he reportedly ridiculed Andhra’s leaders and people aspirations as ” Given a chance, these Andhra leaders may even demand to divert defence funds to their state ” .  Not only cheating Andhra pradesh but also ridiculing is an unwanted approach from the union government representatives.

Jaitley rules out special status for Andhra, offers special package

    0

Facing threats from ally TDP, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday ruled out granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh but said the government was ready to give monetary equivalent of the same in the form of a special package.

The Telugu Desam Party has threatened to quit the NDA alliance if the state is not granted the special status as was promised when the state was bifurcated in 2014.

“Government is ready to give monetary equivalent of the special status to Andhra Pradesh. Instead of calling it special status, we’re calling it a special package,” Jaitley told media persons.

He said that while special status states as a concept did exist when Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated but after the implementation of the 14th Finance Commission recommendations the status was constitutionally restricted to the North-East and three hilly states.

Notwithstanding that, Jaitley said that since Andhra Pradesh “had suffered” after its bifurcation, it needed financial assistance which his government was committed to provide.

He said the state will get monetary equivalent of what they would be entitled to under the special status.

For Special Category States, the expenses for the centrally sponsored schemes are shared in the 90-10 ratio between the Central government and the state government as opposed to 60-40 ratio in case of other states.

Jaitley said the only facility that Special Category States now enjoyed was this 30 per cent advantage which could be calculated in monetary terms and given to the state.

The Finance Minister said that Andhra Pradesh earlier wanted those funds via externally aided programmes mechanism, but now wanted it to be routed through National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard).

“We’re open to that as well but a method has to be evolved wherein it doesn’t affect the fiscal deficit of either state or Centre,” he said.

Jaitley said the government had repeatedly said it was willing to give the monetary equivalent of the special status to the state and was waiting for the Andhra Pradesh government’s response.

Asked about meeting revenue-deficit of the state, the Finance Minister said the central government had already paid Rs 4,000 crore.

“Only Rs 138 crore is the balance.”

MP turns as a farmer for AP Special Status

    1

Chittoor MP, and actor, Naramalli Sivaprasad turned into a farmer’s attire, as a part of TDP MPs’ protest against the Centre for not granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. The TDP MPs staged a protest outside the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament premises. MP Sivaprasad, who was seen as Lord Krishna the other day, took the form of a farmer today.

He was seen carrying water in one pot, and mud in another pot, tied to a wooden twig, placed on one his shoulder. He asked whereabouts of PM Modi to MPs standing outside the parliament, in an innocent, sarcastic and hilarious tone.

When he tried to enter the Parliament premises, with the wooden twig and pots, the security guards stopped him. They stated that (while laughing), he will not be allowed inside with such kind of arrangement into the parliament.

After standing on the steps for a while, the MP came down. Media representatives and MPs of various parties keenly observed the antics of Sivaprasad.

Talking to the media, the MP said that, PM Modi who gifted a pot of ‘water and mud’ to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu during the foundation stone laying ceremony of AP Capital Amaravati, has only given mud to the people of AP.

2018 AP Budget crosses Rs 2 Lakh Crores! Development Budget or Election Budget?

    0

Irrespective of the nature of the upcoming 2018 AP Budget, the oppositions are preparing themselves for a blatant ant attack on the TDP Government. This will be the first time, the (residual) Andhra Pradesh budget will be trespassing the Rs 2 Lakh crore line post the state-bifurcation.

After the bifurcation in 2014, the AP State budget began with Rs 1.11 Lakh crores and has been increasing every year. With reports that elections will be called for in Dec 2018 – Jan 2019, against the scheduled May 2019, the TDP Government has taken utmost measure, to lure all sectors of the society with its latest budget.

Irrigation Projects, Employment Schemes, Pensions, welfare programs, and other ‘manifesto sops’ are likely to receive surpluses funds this time around. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has ensured that sufficient weight is given to SC, ST, BC, and Minority communities in the budget.

Meanwhile, the intellectuals are criticizing the government over its budget proposal. Many senior bureaucrats have termed the budget as ‘Election’ budget, rather than a path to development and re-construction of Andhra Pradesh. With a stiff opposition like YSRCP and Pawan Kalyan who turned out to be a thorn in the flesh, is maligning the chances of TDP to an extent in the next assembly elections.

No ‘Special Status’ to AP – Ministry of Finance sensational remarks!

    2

It is time for the AP MPs and TDP political strategists to pack their bags to Andhra Pradesh. Without any further delay, the TDP & Team can end their agitations, and protests (or even dramas, if you wish so), towards ‘AP Special Category Status’.

The Ministry of Finance has confirmed that granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh would be highly sceptical. It also added that, if AP is giving incentives that are given to eastern states, then other states too would be demanding for the same.

‘Today you are saying it is Telugu people’s sentiment. If we grant the Special Category Status to you today, tomorrow Tamil and Malayalam people will come up with their sentiment. We will be forced to take them into consideration. Fulfilling the ‘Special Package’ is more beneficial than anything else. Rest all are not possible.

The AP Government failed to justify even a single rupee granted by the Centre. It is absolutely senseless to ask that, if other states are being given, why aren’t giving to Andhra Pradesh. Tax incentives are not at all possible.

Andhra Pradesh politicians are raising political heat among them, in name of self-esteem or self-respect,’ said the Ministry of Finance.

It is time for the people of Andhra Pradesh to teach the BJP-led Central Government, and AP Politician a lesson for life.

Kapil Dev to spruce up two golf courses in State

    0

They will come up in Mulapadu in Krishna and Pennukonda in Anantapur: SAAP MD

Legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has agreed to play a crucial role in the promotion of golf in Andhra Pradesh and soon he will be preparing two golf courses, spruced up keeping in mind the foreign investors and tourists. The ace cricket all-rounder is well-known for his golfing skills and of late he is enthusiastically involved in designing and developing golf courses across the country.

    ‘MoU soon’

“Presently, he is developing a course in Hyderabad. We discussed A.P.’s necessity of having golf courses for the benefit of high-profile employees who would flock to the State once the industries are grounded. Soon we will ink a deal with the cricketer-turned golfer,” Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Managing Director N. Bangara Raju told The Hindu on Monday.

He said the two golf courses will have nine holes each initially and later they will be extended to18 holes. “One is coming up near Mulapadu in Krishna district and another at Penukonda in Anantapur district. Investors from Amaravati will make use of Mulapadu course. People from Japan, Korea, and other Asian countries are avid golfers. A few hours of stay in a course will relieve them of stress and help them improve social network.” He said the Penukonda course will be spruced up keeping in mind the Korean motor giant — Kia Motors.

Mr. Bangara Raju said the Kreeda Vikas Kendra (KVK) coming up at Penukonda will be handed over to Kia Motors for maintenance. “This KVK will have an indoor and outdoor stadium on six-acre land. These sports facilities will be used by Kia Motors employees and the locals as well.”

    ‘Synthetic surfaces’

He said around 130 acres will be required to spruce up a 18-hole course. “While the Mulapadu region is fertile, the Penukonda project may face water problems. That is the reason we are using modern techniques to lay the course with minimum water requirement. Poly and synthetic surfaces are available which require less water.”

He said the revenue officials have identified the land inAnantapur district. “These courses will be under the control of a high-power committee of the State government led by L.V. Subrahmanyam, Chief Secretary, Youth Services and Sports, as Chairman and the SAAP will maintain them.”

He said both the projects will be witness driveways and putting greens (holes) coming up soon to enable the golfers to swing their clubs and putt the balls.

AP Team meets Arun Jaitley! Madcon ‘Beggin…’ show continues

AP Team of Ministers representing Government of Andhra Pradesh met the Cabinet Financial Minister Arun Jaitley. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu stated that, they conveyed to Arun Jaitley that, Special Category Status should be granted to Andhra Pradesh at any cost. Similarly, the AP MPs also reinstated, all the Special Category Status benefits should be given to AP without any compromise.

It further said that ‘Tax Concessions, Central Grants, Industrial incentives are the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh. Given the extension of the Special Category Status to the existing 11 states in the Country, even the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh should also be granted.’

Shockingly, after hearing to the AP Team of Ministers, Arun Jaitley stated that ‘Industrial Incentives’ aspect is completely under Suresh Prabhu, and a circular from him should be released. Factually speaking, PM Modi has the ultimate say regarding the granting of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

The meeting with Arun Jaitley took place in his office. Cabinet Minister Sujana Chowdary, MP Ram Mohan Rao, Kutumba Rao, Kambhampati Hari Babu (BJP), Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, and other TDP leaders.

‘AP Special Category Status’ heat reaches New Delhi!

    1

The national capital, New Delhi already suffering from heavy pollution. With horrid summers to come, the Dilliwalas need to brace themselves from the extreme heat, and temperatures, that easily touch 40C. This time, the heat is also likely to touch the politicians, especially the BJP leader.

‘Prathyeka Hodha Saadhana Samithi’ organization has started its protests in New Delhi. Even Non-Political JAC’s took part in the protests. Together, the organizations have submitted a plea demanding Special Status to Andhra Pradesh, to BR Ambedkar’s statue. The organizations also staged protests outside the AP Bhavan.

‘If the Centre does not respond appropriately to AP Special Category Status quo, we will surround the MPs and MLAs residences. The Centre should fulfil all the commitments mentioned in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.

It should also declare special packages to Rayalaseema and Uttara Andhra regions,’ said the Non-Political JAC leaders.

Adding fuel to the fire, with Pawan Kalyan Janasena’s JFC report to be published in the next few hours, the TDP in the State and BJP at the Centre are under immense pressure over the AP Special Category Status row.

In this context, AP State Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu stated that AP State Budget will be introduced in the State Assembly on March 8th, at 11:30 am in a press meet.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will go through the proposed-budget one final time, before it is introduced in the Assembly on March 8th.

It will be interesting to see whether the TDP government will shower sops in the name of ‘welfare schemes’ or will stick to ‘development’ mantra by allotting funds to infrastructure development.
Meanwhile, political analysts opined that the upcoming 2018 – 2019 State Budget will be an ‘attractive’ one in the wake of 2019 Assembly elections. It is also learnt that Finance Minister Ramakrishnudu already held multiple conferences with concerned officials and Cabinet Ministers while drafting the budget.

At the same time, the upcoming budget is likely to give a clear idea about TDP’s political line up, and its strategies during the election campaigning for the 2019 elections.
