Koratala Siva is one of the best writers of Telugu cinema. He picks up a social element and laces all the needed commercial elements. All his films Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu are lengthy and they delivered a strong social message for the society. All his films had a minimum runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The final cut of Acharya was locked for 2 hours and 54 minutes. Megastar Chiranjeevi watched the final cut and he was extremely impressed with the film. But he wanted the runtime to be crisp.

Chiranjeevi spent ample time and chopped off some of the scenes. The final runtime of the film reached 2 hours and 34 minutes. Koratala Siva too was convinced by the editing work of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Acharya featuring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan is hitting the screens this Friday. Koratala Siva during his interviews revealed that the film delivers a strong message like his previous films. Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company bankrolled the film.

Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed in an exclusive interview while promoting ‘Acharya’ that he wants his family to be known as the ‘Kapoors’ of the south.

Chiranjeevi recalls a conversation with his brother Pawan Kalyan, in which he expressed his desire for their family to be known as the ‘Kapoors’ of the south.

“There is a Kapoor craze in Hindi cinema. In South Cinema, I also wished for our family to be like that. I’m so happy to see how these kids (from Pawan Kalyan to Allu Arjun and others) have grown up and made a name for themselves in cinema”, Chiranjeevi explained.

Chiranjeevi also recalls an incident, when he had previously travelled to the north, where he had felt humiliated.

‘The ‘Indra’ actor explained, “Despite the fact that I had won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature film in National Integration for Rudraveena, there was little mention of the South in the award event. I felt humiliated”.

“Now that I see the regional lines slowly perishing, I feel happy”, Chiranjeevi conveyed.

Chiranjeevi spoke about his experience working with his son, Ram Charan, the latest pan-India sensation, and said, “Such opportunities do not come along very often for actors. I am a fortunate father who has witnessed Charan’s incredible growth as an actor “.

Helmed by Koratala Siva, ‘Acharya’ is in theaters on April 29.

It is known news that Ram Charan is playing the role of Sidda in Acharya movie that is slated to release on 29th April. During the press meet event that is attended by Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde and Koratala Siva, a reporter asked an interesting question that if Ram Charan had not taken up this role, whether the unit would have approached Pawan Kalyan for this role. He also asked whether Pawan would have suited for this role.

Chiranjeevi made interesting comments while answering this question. He told there are many actors who can do justice to this role but the emotion between Acharya and Sidda will melt the hearts of the audiences only if it is done by some one like Ram Charan who is his family member. Chiranjeevi added that such an emotion would have been felt by the audiences even if it is done by Pawan Kalyan. Chiranjeevi said that, in case Ram Charan had not agreed for this role for any reason, Pawan Kalyan would have been the obvious choice for this role.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-anticipated movie ‘Acharya’ is set for a worldwide theatrical release on April 29 as it has completed its censor formalities, the makers announced.

‘Acharya’ has received a U/A certificate, as it gears up for a release.

To announce the news, the creators have released an eye-catching poster featuring Chiranjeevi. “Witness the ‘U’ltimate ‘A’ction in cinemas from APRIL 29”, the makers wrote on their social media profiles, earlier on Friday.

Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pooja Hedge star in the film, which is directed by Siva Koratala.

The biggie’s pre-release event, produced by Konidela Production Company in collaboration with Matinee Entertainment, is set to take place on Saturday in Hyderabad.

Now netizens and fans of Acharya movie are discussing that Acharya movie is surrounded with several negative sentiments and debating whether Acharya can beat all these negative sentiments. Acharya movie is directed by Koratala Siva and has Mega star Chiranjeevi in the lead role. Mega power star Ram Charan, who scored sensational hit with RRR recently is playing a key role. However most of the negative sentiments currently being discussed in social media are associated with Ram Charan. First sentiment is that Ram Charan has never scored two consecutive hits in same calendar year. For example he released Nayak and Zanjeer in 2013. While Nayak is a decent hit, Zanjeer bombed at box office. Again in 2014 he released Yevadu and Govindudu Andarivadele. Out of these two also first movie was hit and second movie was a flop. Now in 2022, as he already scored hit with RRR, netizens who believe these sentiments saying that Acharya may not work out due to this sentiment.

There is another sentiment that whenever Ram charan gave a sensational hit, he followed it with a flop movie. After Magadheera, there was orange and after Rangasthalam, there was Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Going by this sentiment also, some say, after RRR, there may be a flop. Another sentiment in TFI is that whoever scores hit with Rajamouli their next movie will be flop. NTR after Simhadri, Prabhas after Chatrapati and Ram Charan after Magadheera proved this sentiment right. So some netizens believe, as per this sentiment Acharya may not work out. There are other sentiments like music director Mani Sarma not being in form, heroine Kajal being faded out and naxalism backdrop not fetching hits for star heroes etc also doing rounds in the industry as well as social media.

However there are other set of people who are confident about the success of this movie. These guys believe that low buzz on the movie will actually help it as it is easier to meet expectations when there is low buzz on the movie. They also remind that the director Koratala Siva had never delivered a dud till date.
