On the occasion of International Women’s Day, megastar Chiranjeevi has felicitated the production ladies of Tollywood.

Women from different departments of the production team, including the housekeeping section, other day labourers, were awarded a hamper, along with a saree each.

The megastar, who participated in the International Women’s Day celebrations organized at the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT), recognizes the hard work of the women, who did not step back to serve the industry even during the pandemic.

Speaking on the occasion, the veteran actor spoke highly of his wife Surekha, whom he credits for all his success in life.

“My wife Surekha, was the youngest in her family. But, as we got married, she was drowned with multiple responsibilities, which she took up with grace. Her contribution was immense and hence I was able to focus on career and movies completely,” Chiranjeevi stated.

Chiru said that a woman is a backbone for any family, and carries multiple responsibilities even in society.

Additionally, he recalled that his mother had been working hard since she was a child and said today’s women are reaching new heights, like flying to the moon and winning Olympic medals.

He urged everyone to work for women’s empowerment. To him, feminine power should be something the world can be proud of.

Megastar Chiranjeevi lined up a bunch of projects and he is juggling between the sets of these projects. He signed a film in the direction of Venky Kudumula and the film will have its official launch next month. As per the update, Megastar plays a mafia don in this film which will be high on action and entertainment. Megastar’s character is laced with hilarious entertainment as per the update. Venky Kudumula is done with the scriptwork and Chiranjeevi was impressed with the draft. The actors and technicians are finalized currently.

DVV Danayya is on board to bankroll this prestigious project and the film will hit the screens during the second half of 2023 once all the current projects of Chiranjeevi will hit the screens. Chiranjeevi is done with the shoot of Acharya and the film releases in April. He is shooting for God Father, Bhola Shankar and Bobby’s untitled film.

A tweet put out by Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi on Saturday, seeking his mother’s blessings on her birthday is winning hearts on the internet.

Chiranjeevi, who is in isolation after having tested positive for Covid-19, on Saturday put out a tweet wishing his mother a very happy birthday. Pointing out that he could not take her blessings in person as he was in quarantine, the megastar in Telugu said that his prayer to God was that his mother’s blessings be upon him, not just in this life but also in the next.

The heart touching tweet put out by the actor garnered a thumping 19,000 likes in a matter of just an hour-and-a-half. What’s more, several of the actor’s fans also took time to wish Chiranjeevi’s mother a very happy birthday. It was on Republic Day this year that Chiranjeevi had announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19.

The actor, who has chosen to quarantine himself at his home after testing positive, had very mild symptoms. He had also urged everybody, who had come in contact with him over the last few days, to get tested as well.
