Powerstar Pawan Kalyan built a lavish bungalow in the posh locality of Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi along with his wife Surekha attended the housewarming ceremony that took place today. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have been spotted in traditional attire and the picture is now trending across the social media. Chiranjeevi spent ample time and interacted with Pawan Kalyan asking about the political happenings of Janasena.
Megastar Chiranjeevi who has been away from politics has been focused on Syeraa, a periodic drama made on a massive budget. The actor showered heaps of praises on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for supporting film industry. Hyderabad is now the best platform for film making and it is possible because of KCR lauded Chiranjeevi. He even showered praises on Telangana Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
“KCR is not a man of words and he is known to implement his ideas and promises. His contribution for Telugu film industry is huge. He is ranked as the best Chief Minister. Talasani Srinivas Yadav always wanted me to suggest him for the betterment of Tollywood in Hyderabad. The city is having all the infrastructure for films and we need not import technicians, junior artists from Chennai or Mumbai like we did in the olden days. I thank Telangana Government for their immense support for Telugu cinema. Chitrapuri Colony which has been built for junior artists and actors is the symbol of respect for Tollywood. This never happened anywhere else in the country” said Chiranjeevi.
SS Rajamouli after a year and half is set to start shooting for his next film which has been tentatively titled RRR. Ram Charan and NTR are the lead actors and the makers announced that the film would have its official launch on November 11th at 11 AM with a grand pooja ceremony. Now the speculations are all over about the film’s special guest to launch the big budget film.
A section of media has been speculating that Young Rebelstar Prabhas will attend the grand event and will launch the project. There are even speculations that Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna will attend to Launch RRR. The makers are yet to announce about the special guest and Mega, Nandamuri fans are eagerly waiting for the big confirmation from the makers. DVV Danayya will produce this big budget action thriller.
SS Rajamouli is expected to make some more official announcements during the film’s launch.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy shooting for his upcoming magnum opus period film SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy which is set in the backdrop of pre Independence era. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film features an ensemble cast from different languages.
Chiranjeevi is sparing no effort to deliver his best for SyeRaa. Before starting the shoot, Chiru underwent extensive training for his look and appearance. He then honed his horse riding skills action episodes. Now, he is getting training for rifle shooting under the supervision of champion shooter and Olympics medal winner Gagan Narang.
In SyeRaa, Chiru will be seen using different rifles and pistols. So, he wants to learn basics about them before shooting for action sequences. So, he is taking thorough guidance of Gagan Narang in shooting academy. SyeRaa is scheduled for release in Summer next year.
Blending social dramas with commercial elements is director Koratala Siva’s forte. After delivering back to back hits with Srimanthudu, Janata Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu, Koratala is prepping up to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi in his next outing.
Reportedly, the script work for this crazy project has been wrapped up and the formal launch will be held for Sankranthi. Sources say Koratala has once again locked a social subject with commercial angle that will suit Chiranjeevi’s image. He and his team have worked for a couple of months to come up with a watertight story and narration.
The regular shooting will commence once Chiru wraps up his upcoming magnum opus SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy which is getting ready for Summer release. Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions will pool resources for Chiru’s flick with Koratala.
If it is true, it will be no doubt a sad end to an otherwise promising career in AP politics. Sources have confirmed that former minister Chiranjeevi has put a full stop to his political career.
The actor-turned-politician has lost all interest in politics for his own reasons and he is not going to campaign for Congress in Telangana in coming December nor he is showing up in AP’s 2019 elections.
He has not renewed his membership of the party and kept silent on this. He has not responded positively either to Congress high command’s invitation to campaign for the party in early polls in Telangana. It is for sure that he is not going to support any party, not even Jana Sena of his beloved brother Pawan Kalyan.
Chiru is a self-made man with a rare record of having climbed to top position in South Indian film industry. He had a huge fan following among youth across Telugu states. His 150th film ‘Khaidi No 150’ was a blockbuster having made collected big money in Indian and overseas.
In politics, there has never been one instance when Chiru tasted similar success. Nothing succeeds like success, they say. It was true in respect of incomparable NTR who entered the AP political scene when there were no prior film personalities who challenged all-dominating Congress and aimed at CM post.
Chiranjeevi founded Praja Rajyam Party in August, 2008, and formally announced its formation by addressing an impressive, massive public meeting at the temple town of Tirupati the same year. In 2009 elections, his PRP won 18 assembly segments by getting a vote share of 16.22 per cent when present ruling TRS party in Telangana got just 3.99 per cent.
KCR built up his party from there by stepping up Telangana agitation till the formation of separate state in 2014 and grabbed power finally without any charisma. But Chiranjeevi lost out in the race because of lack of political correctness, experience and planning. He strongly stood for Samaikyandhra (United AP) struggle which eventually made him unpopular in Hyderabad and in Telangana region. It was seen as a tactical blunder. Amid that confusion, Chiru accepted Union Minister post and merged his party with Congress, which came to be called as a historic self-goal. Rivals called this merger of PRP as an outcome of a bad decision made for immediate personal gains and nothing more. Chandrababu Naidu accused Chiru of closing down PRP only to prefer his self interests rather than his pet theme of social justice.
There were also allegations from the beginning that Chiru’s brother-in-law Allu Arvind has interfered with all aspects of running PRP which caused lot of damage to the party overtime.
Chiranjeevi has a lot of charisma even now in Telangana region but he is not going to figure anywhere in electioneering this time. His co-actress Vijayashanti has already plunged into campaign for Congress and she is attacking KCR and his family. Former Minister T. Devender Goud merged his Nava Telangana Party with PRP and he was made vice president of the party. Even this did not help PRP gain any strength in Telangana at that time.
In 2009 polls, Chiranjeevi gave tough time to all major parties by making his party’s presence felt in every segment which had an impact on final election results eventually. He held social justice as main goal for his PRP party. It promised land to the poor families, implementation of total prohibition in phases, supply of groceries per month at Rs. 1,000 and LPG cylinder supply at Rs. 100.
There was definitely a lot of sadness around formation and merger of PRP. Pawan Kalyan blamed the downfall of PRP on several forces that hatched political conspiracies to sabotage Chiranjeevi’s political career right from the moment it started. Jana Senani had many times threatened to take revenge against all such elements who crushed PRP systematically.
In one way, PRP’s sad story was a greater reason for Pawan to float of his own party that he went ahead with a higher resolve to form Jana Sena and bring change in present day, wicked politics. Jana Senani has even brushed aside comments by rivals that his party will meet the same fate as that of PRP.
Both Chiranjeevi and Pawan heavily drew most of their strength from their ‘kapu’ community vote bank which is present predominantly in Godavari districts and partially in other parts of the state. Because of the caste and charisma factors, Congress offered Union Minister post to Chiru to get his services in electioneering in South India. Pawan is saying he doesn’t want a caste tag but still he chose Godavari Dowleswaram ‘kavathu’ for drawing battle lines for 2019 elections. Thanks to his caste base, Pawan could make ‘kavathu’ a big show of strength in Rajahmundry. Comparisons were made, saying Pawan show has outshined a similar show of YCP at the same barrage a few weeks ago.
Small brother often says he will prove a point to all those who are laughing at PRP and who are insulting Chiranjeevi. Whether Pawan succeeds in his mission will be decided by people in 2019 elections.
On his party, Chiru is busy with his second innings in cinema. He is working on the sets of ‘Syeraa Narasimha Reddy’ film due for a Sankranthi festival release in January, 2019. He is back where he belongs.
There have been rumors about Mega Star Chiranjeevi completely quitting politics and confining himself to movies. His term as Rajya Sabha MP ended in April,2018. He was not renominated by Congress. Morover, he is also not active politically. Now, latest reports suggest that Chianjeevi bids a good bye to Congress.
Chiranjeevi floated Praja rajyam party in 2009 amidst high expectations but the party did not succeed. However, after Jagan left Congress to float his new party, he merged PRP into congress , helping the party survive its complete term in AP. Chiranjeevi became union minister. But after the bifurcation of the state, Congress party completely lost its ground in AP. Meanwhile,Chiranjeevi also became busy with movies. He is currently shooting Sye raa Narasimha Reddy movie. His next will be in the direction of Koratala Siva.
Recently Chiranjeevi’s Congress party membership expired and he did not renew it. So he seems to have left the party. Recently Rahul Gandhi requested Chiranjeevi to be active in the party as the general elections are fast approaching. But Chiranjeevi didn’t respond to Rahul Gandhi’s equest. So it seems, Chiranjeevi is not interested to continue in Congress. We will have to wait and see if he completely confines himself to movies or supports Janasena party floated by his brother.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is sweating out for his next film Syeraa and a major schedule is taking place in Georgia in which the climax episodes are currently canned. The entire unit will return back this week and will take a break till the end of this month. The next schedule of Syeraa will start from November 1st in Hyderabad and will continue for 40 days without any breaks.
Megastar and his team will shoot for some crucial episodes in specially erected sets in Hyderabad and the schedule ends on December 10th. It will be a single schedule without a break and the unit will even work on Sundays to wrap up this major schedule. Megastar’s look and the teaser received stunning response from the audience. Syeraa is a periodic drama directed by Surendar Reddy and the film will have Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi and Kichcha Sudeepa in other pivotal roles. Syeraa bankrolled by Konidela Production Company will release during the mid of 2019.

Ever since the project has been announced, it has been touted as a pan-India film that will be released in different languages. Recently, Amithab Bachchan’s first look poster has been unveiled for his birthday. A small motion poster has also been released. But, there is only lukewarm response for the look. There is hardly any buzz generated for the film in Bollywood after the release of Amithab’s look. Analysts felt that the makers of SyeRaa should have released a small teaser to introduce Amithab’s character in the film.
As SyeRaa is made on a whopping budget, the theatricals and other rights in Telugu alone cannot recoup the producers investment. So, it should create a massive buzz in other languages to do a strong pre release business. So, team SyeRaa should come up with aggressive promotional content and novel ideas to generate good hype in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.

After wrapping up his current film SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi will team up with hit director Koratala Siva for a social drama. The script work is currently on and the formal launch of this project will be held in January next year.
Reportedly, Koratala Siva is planning to rope in milk beauty Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi in this big budget entertainer. Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the role of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in upcoming period film SyeRaa. The historical drama is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. As the story is set against the backdrop of British era, there will be plenty of fight sequences in this magnum opus.
It is learnt that Chiranjeevi underwent rigorous and intensive training to hone horse riding and sword fighting skills. Despite being on the wrong side of 60 years, Chiranjeevi spent nearly 6 hours daily for a couple of months to train for the war episodes. He has been hitting the gym regularly and following a strict diet to maintain a fit avatar through out the film.
He is currently heading to Georgia for a heavy duty battle sequence which will be canned in an open area with hundreds of fighters. This particular sequence is said to remain as one of the major highlights in the film.

Surendar Reddy along with his team already started shooting for the film and some crucial action episodes are canned. Megastar flew to Azerbaijan and paid a surprise visit on to the sets of Ram Charan’s film which is shooting there. The movie unit has been shooting for a massive action stunt from the past one week.
Boyapati Srinu is the director and Megastar is expected to spend couple of days on the sets of this untitled film. Chiranjeevi will then fly to Georgia and will shoot for Syeraa for the next 25 days there. Ram Charan and his team have been left in surprise with the visit of Megastar. Kiara Advani is the heroine and DVV Entertainments is bankrolling the film which will release during Sankranthi 2019.
Rahul Gandhi yesterday attended a public meeting at a college ground in Kurnool , the first capital of Andhra Pradesh. The gathering was also impressive. Rahul Gandhi spoke for almost 40 minutes and blamed BJP government and Narendra Modi for all the hardships the state is facing.
The meeting was attended by congress leaders like Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy, Kiran Kumar Reddy, byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy etc. However leaders like Pallam Raju, Vatti Vasanth and Chiranjeevi who are still in congress technically chose to absent for the meeting. Pallam Raju served as Union Cabinet Minister in UPA government. Vasanth also is prominent leader in Godavari districts. Chiranjeevi is not attending any Congress party meetings and focusing on his films. Even earlier also, when Rahul Gandhi visited the state he did not attend. There are many other leaders who were once in congress but later moved on to other parties. But these three leaders are still in Congress and yet did not attend the meeting.
Chiranjeevi is anyway focusing on films. We will have to wait and see whether Pallam Raju and Vasant also planning to leave the party officially.

Now, it is revealed that a single schedule alone is going to cost nearly 50 Crores for the production house. As per the reports, the soon-to-be commenced Georgia schedule, in which a spectacular action sequences will be shot, is going to be very expensive as the makers are pumping a whopping 50 Crore rupees for it.
