Chiru gives first clap for son-in-law’s debut

Chiranjeevi clap Kalyan Kannuganti’s debut

Telugu360 already reported that Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Kannuganti is all set to debut as an actor in Tollywood. Rakesh Shashi of Jatha Kalise fame is going to direct Kalyan in a slice of life romantic drama.

The fresh update reveals that the untitled project has been formally launched today morning. Chiranjeevi himself gave the first clap and it is SS Rajamouli who directed the first shot. MM Keeravani also graced the launch.

Sai Korrapati will pool resources for this film. Malavika Nair has been roped in for the leading lady’s role

The untitled film will have top technicians on board in the form of Baahubali cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, art director Rama Krishna.

Tanikella Bharani, Murali Sharma and Nazeer will essay crucial roles in the film. Yogesh will compose the tunes and Joshua will design stunts for the film.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s prestigious project Syeraa is currently under shoot and Surendar Reddy is directing this periodic epic. There have been wide speculations about the film but the makers along with the team of Syeraa have been busy planning their next schedule. The first schedule has been wrapped in December and the next one will commence from February. Big B Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a pivotal role in the film and he is all set to join the sets of the prestigious project from February. Big B will play the Guru of Chiranjeevi who is essaying Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, a freedom fighter in the film.

A reliable source from Konidela Production Company informed that Big B is very much in the project and is eager to join the sets. Amitabh will even participate in the Rajasthan and the Kerala schedules that will start soon. Megastar’s look has been kept under wraps and some crucial episodes on the lead cast will be shot in the next schedule. With the film’s composer AR Rahman walking out of the project, the makers are in hunt for a composer who can do justice for this periodic drama. Made on a massive budget, Charan is producing the film on Konidela Production Company.

Chiranjeevi Suggests Changes In Syeraa Script

Unexpectedly, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film Syeraa Narasimha Reddy shooting has stopped in the middle. As per the latest updates, the makers have started shooting in Hyderabad for 10 days and the actor has now suggested some changes in the script, especially dialogues. So, the team Sai Madhav Burra, Satyanand, and Paruchuri Brothers are currently busy in giving a final touch to the dialogues.

Chiranjeevi quite impressed with Balayya dialogues in Gautamiputra Satakarni and asked Sai Madhav to focus more on dialogues like as powerful as in it. The makers have erected a huge set in an aluminium factory in Hyderabad and have completed shooting for 10 days. After the completion of the final script, the makers will start shooting for the remaining sequences.

If the ongoing buzz in the industry circles is to be believed, creative director Sukumar is planning to team up with Megastar Chiranjeevi next year.

Reportedly, Sukumar has narrated a line to Chiranjeevi and got the go-ahead signal from the latter. Sources close to the director hinted that Sukumar is likely to develop the script as he got an optimistic nod from Megastar. The source added that the project might materialize after Chiranjeevi wraps up his upcoming period drama SyeRaa.

Sukumar is currently busy wrapping up Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam. Incidentally, Surender Reddy also bagged the opportunity to direct Chiru after working with Charan for Dhruva.

Megastar rejects Surendar Reddy’s Proposal

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the shoot of Syeraa which is touted to be the costliest film made in his career. Megastar Chiranjeevi has just wrapped up a two week hectic schedule of his upcoming magnum opus SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy which is being helmed by Surender Reddy. A high octane action sequence has been shot in the first schedule and the team is very content with the way the first schedule has come out. The matinee idol is seen sporting a stylish twirling moustache and a beard in the first schedule.

But, his recent look with a trimmed beard has sparked many speculations. However, it is learnt that Chiranjeevi is on a brief break before resuming the shoot. He is currently in Bangalore to spend time off with his close friends and family ahead of Sankranthi festival. Sources say that Chiru will spend three weeks in his sprawling farm house in the outskirts of Bangalore. He will return to Hyderabad after Sankranthi.

Team SyeRaa will resume shooting in the last week of January. Nayanatara will join the sets in the next schedule. The film boasts an ensemble cast in the form of Amithab Bachchan Kicha Sudeep Vijay Sethupati Jagapathi Babu and few others in important roles.

The people of Perupalem village in W.Godavari district are waiting for Chiranjeevi for inauguration of further development work by Chiranjeevi. 3 years back the village was in bad shape due to lack of proper infrastructural facilities like roads, drainage, street lights and many other issues. Rajya Sabha member and actor Chiranjeevi then assured that he will develop Perupalem (south) village located on the sea coast as a model village in all aspects.

He laid the foundation stone for various development works taken up at a cost of Rs 5.20 crore in Perupalem (south) village in Mogalthuru mandal. Following the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to MPs to adopt villages, he immediately decided to adopt a village at his native place. In these 3 years,several development works have been taken up, CC roads set up, 125 solar street lights were laid, 5 reverse osmosis plants for drinking water have been set up.

However, extension of water tank pipeline works and canal works yet to be finished as these were stalled midway due to fund crunch. So villagers thank Chiranjeevi for adopting their village, for the development work that has been done so far and eagerly waiting for him to resume the stalled works, to inaugurate the further development works.

That Movie Artists Association ( MAA ) is going to provide succour to ailing and struggling artists of Tollywood by constructing an old age home with basic amenities is a known news. MAA is currently setting up plans to construct a well equipped compound in the outskirts of Hyderabad and they decided to seek funds from NRI’s by organising an event in US in Summer next year.

Now, Superstar Mahesh Babu has reportedly gave his nod to MAA request to be a part of this event. A close source to the actor revealed that MAA has approached Mahesh and he immediately said yes to their request.

Mahesh Babu, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film Bharat Ane Nenu, has adopted his ancestral village Burripalem after being inspired by his own social – minded film Srimanthudu which has him playing a good samaritan.

Akkineni Akhil’s second outing Hello is making the right noises ahead of its release on Dec 22nd. Akhil’s father and producer Nagarjuna is pulling all stops to promote the film big time in Telugu states and overseas. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious period drama SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy suffered two set backs in the form of sudden walkouts from DOP Ravi Varman and composer AR Rahman. However, this didn’t impact the start plans as the film kicked off in style on Dec 6th with Ratnavelu coming on board to can shots. But, the worrying factor is that the makers are yet to finalize the music composer for this prestigious project.

After AR Rahman’s exit, it has been widely speculated that Thaman is most likely to be named as replacement as he gave a thumping background score for the film’s motion poster. Denying the reports, Thaman clarified that he hasn’t been yet approached by the makers.

In the meantime, reports emerging that seasoned composer MM Keeravani is also in consideration for this big budget entertainer. Sources say Surender Reddy and producer Ram Charan are in a dilemma to decide who would be render full justice to SyeRaa, a period drama which chronicles the life history of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

SS Thaman, who is one of the most sought after composers in Tollywood at present, though, not worked for period and historical films proved his mettle with a pulsating score for the motion poster and turned the attention of everyone.

On the other side, MM Keeravani’s has a handy experience as he worked for big budget and period films in Tollywood like Baahubali and Magadheera. So, he would be an ideal choice to work for SyeRaa.

As of now, both these composers are in contention to join the star studded SyeRaa. We have to wait and see who among these two will bag the golden opportunity.

Surender Reddy is the director.

As reported earlier, the first schedule of the film will commence on December 6th in Hyderabad. Sources revealed that a special team has been recruited to design the outfits for Chiranjeevi and other artists who will take part in the first schedule. Also, it is learnt that Chiranjeevi will be sporting a fitter and leaner physique in the role of Uyyalawada.

Can Surender Reddy find a replacement for AR Rahman ?

It is a little disconcerting for Surender Reddy and his team after AR Rahman officially announced that he is unavailable for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy. The Oscar winning composer’s exit is a double whammy for team SyeRaa as they already suffered a setback after popular cinematographer Ravi Varman walked out of the project due to delay in the start. However, they brought Ratnavelu on board as replacement.

As the film is made as a multilingual project with a grand canvas involving an ensemble cast and a whopping budget, renowned technicians like AR Rahman and Ravi Varman would easily give SyeRaa a nationwide attention. But their sudden exit has left Surender Reddy in a spot of bother.

Now, the question is whether team SyeRaa can find a suitable replacement for AR Rahman who could do justice to this magnum opus.

Though SS Thaman’s name is widely speculated as replacement for AR Rahman, it is yet to be known whether Surender Reddy has locked him or is he looking for other alternatives.
