Top producer Dil Raju has been holding talks with several filmmakers for interesting projects. His next production Vakeel Saab is aimed for summer release and F3 will have an August release. Dil Raju is all set to introduce his nephew Ashish (Sirish’s son) to Telugu cinema and the shoot of the film is happening at a fast pace in and around Hyderabad. Sree Harsha who directed Husharu in the past is directing this youthful entertainer.

The film is titled Rowdy Boys and top technicians like Devi Sri Prasad (music) and Madhiee (cinematographer) are working for the film. Dil Raju and his brother are not compromising on the film’s budget and they are spending lavishly on Rowdy Boys. The film is aimed for release during the end of this year.

Dil Raju happens to be one of the most successful producers and distributors of Telugu cinema. He was the man behind several classics and he chalked out the release plans of several films as a distributor and brought a wide release for them. But he has been facing the heat this year after the release of Krack. Warangal Srinu made some sensational comments against Dil Raju and Sirish. Soon after this, Warangal Srinu acquired the rights of several upcoming biggies by paying exorbitant prices that are beyond the market limits.

Trade circles are left in shock at the offers of Warangal Srinu and everyone is eagerly waiting to see the moves of Dil Raju. But the top producer decided to play it safe. He decided not to compete for the rights for any upcoming projects and pay hefty prices as he may land in trouble if the films fail to fare well at the box-office. Dil Raju is quoting his prices for various projects and decided not to lock any projects beyond his quoted price. Dil Raju also has a strong lineup of films that are in production and he is holding talks for various projects.

Dil Raju decided to stay calm and watch the game for now. He also decided to shift his focus on production through which he emerged as the most successful filmmaker of Telugu cinema. He has Vakeel Saab, F3 and others lined up for release this year.

Dil Raju’s 50th birthday bash would be a memorable one as it turned out to be a star-studded affair. All the top Tollywood actors who are available in the city made their presence. A picture from the bash is now all over the internet. Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Ram, Vijay Devarakonda and Naga Chaitanya are clicked in a single frame along with Dil Raju’s family. Several other actors wished Dil Raju personally on the occasion.

Dil Raju’s production house Sri Venkateswara Creations introduced a bunch of directors like Sukumar, Boyapati Srinu, Bhaskar, Vamshi Paidipally, Srikanth Addala and Venu Sriram. Some of them emerged as the top directors of Telugu cinema. Some of the directors like Anil Ravipudi and Vamshi Paidipally have been working for Dil Raju while directors like Sukumar and Boyapati Srinu never worked for the production house after they established themselves.

Dil Raju during the lockdown met Sukumar and Boyapati Srinu separately. Both these directors decided to work with Dil Raju again. The basic plots are said to be ready and the projects will be finalized after they complete their current commitments. Boyapati Srinu will work with Dil Raju right after he completes Balakrishna’s project. Sukumar has a bunch of commitments and he may not do a film for Sri Venkateswara Creations anytime soon.

Telugu360 was the first to reveal that top producer Dil Raju is focused on a small budget and content-driven films after the arrival of coronavirus pandemic. He offered deals to all the directors who worked for Sri Venkateswara Creations in the past. Anil Ravipudi who works at a jet speed impressed Dil Raju with a script. He would pen the screenplay and dialogue version of the film. Nenu Local fame Trinadha Rao Nakkina will direct this project.

The details and the genre about the film are currently kept under wraps. A young actor will play the lead role in the film. Anil Ravipudi will share the profits for his work and the project will be made on a budget less than Rs 10 crores. Dil Raju is also holding talks with Sukumar and Vamshi Paidipally for such similar attempts. More projects to be finalized and announced soon.

Dil Raju decided not to run after stars and he decided to produce films that are high on content. He floated one more production house ‘Dil Raju Productions’. This production house will produce films on a minimal budget and will not feature stars. All these projects will be salable only with the brand of Dil Raju. The top producer is now working round the clock and he is said to have already finalized half a dozen projects which are in the scripting stage.

At the same time, Dil Raju will also produce web series for Aha and other digital platforms. Dil Raju Productions is quite busy even during the coronavirus season.
