Nene Raju Nene Mantri Combo Back on Cards

Remember the super-hit film Nene Raju Nene Mantri in Teja’s direction that featured Rana Daggubati, Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. The superhit combo is back in talks again. Teja and Rana Daggubati are set to work again and senior producer Achanta Gopinath will bankroll this political thriller.

Teja planned a movie ‘Rakshasa Rajyam lo Ravanudu’ after ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ with Rana, which dint materialize due to unavoidable circumstances. Teja and Daggubati Abhiram’s ‘Ahimsa’ is scheduled for June 2nd release. Irrespective of his brother’s film result, Rana has finalized Teja’s film. The regular shoot will commence very shortly. Leading Malayalam star actor will also be part of the film and more details are yet to be revealed.

Teja betting big on his son

Director Teja is known for making films with a restricted budget. His first film ‘Chithram’ was made with a budget of Rs 30 lakhs. But things have changed now and the budget limitations are high. Now, Teja also left his comfort zone of making films with a strict budget and started wearing high-budget shoes. His last outing was ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’, which was made on a budget of Rs 15 Cr.

Teja is introducing his son Amitov with the film ‘Vikramaditya’ and is betting big. The film is said to be a romantic drama based on the 1836 pre-independence background. As per sources, Teja has set the film’s budget as Rs 30 Cr and planning to bring some popular actors and technicians on board. This film is said to be the biggest budget film for Teja in his career. More details about the film are yet to be revealed. Nallamalupu Bujji, who produced ‘Kanchana’ and ‘Race Gurram’ is producing this film ‘Vikramaditya’.

Teja’s Bollywood hunt for Alivelu Manga Venkataramana

Teja after the debacle of Sita penned two interesting scripts. One among them is Alivelu Manga Venkataramana and Gopichand was on board to play the lead actor in this romantic saga. There are a lot of speculations from the past couple of weeks about the film and Gopichand is said to have walked out of the project. Teja recently locked Taapsee for the role of Alivelu and the actress signed the film after she was impressed with the narration. There are talks that Taapsee was not ready to work with Gopichand as they already worked for a debacle Mogudu.

As per the update, Teja is keen to make Alivelu Manga Venkataramana as a pan Indian project and he is holding talks with a Bollywood actor for the film. After Taapsee came on board, Teja is exploring all the available options. An official announcement about the project and the lead actors would be made very soon. Gopichand on the other side is in talks with Maruthi for Pakka Commercial that will roll soon. Gopichand as of now is completing the shoot of Seetimaar.

Gopichand walks out of Teja’s film?

Director Teja announced two projects after the disaster of Sita. He said that he would work with Rana Daggubati and Gopichand in his upcoming projects. Gopichand’s film is said to be a romantic entertainer and is titled Alivelu Venkataramana. The hunt for the leading lady is on and an official announcement was planned next year. The latest update coming says that Gopichand walked out of the project.

Gopichand is currently holding talks with Maruthi for his next film titled Pakka Commercial. Gopichand is all excited to join this comic entertainer and he decided to walk out of Teja’s project. Teja has now staged for the right actor for Alivelu Venkataramana. It all started after Ravi Teja walked out of Pakka Commerical citing remuneration issues. Maruthi approached Gopichand for the lead role. Gopichand is currently busy wrapping up Seetimaar in the direction of Sampath Nandi.

Kajal locked for Alivelumanga Venkataramana

Director Teja is ready with two scripts. One of them features Gopichand in the lead role and the film is said to be a romantic family entertainer. Titled Alivelumanga Venkataramana, Teja is in the hunt for the leading lady from some time. Kajal was the first consideration but Teja also considered options like Keerthy Suresh, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh. But the latest news we hear is that Teja finalized Kajal Aggarwal for the role.

Teja felt that Kajal would be the best choice and the pair of Gopichand, Kajal would look fresh on-screen. The movie will have its official launch in August and the regular shoot of Alivelumanga Venkataramana starts in September. People Media Factory will produce this romantic family drama. Kajal earlier worked with Teja in Lakshmi Kalyanam and Sita. The actress already gave her nod and is getting ready for the shoot.
