D.K. Shiva Kumar or shortly DKS as he is known in Karnataka, is the man behind handling all the crises of Karnataka Congress in last few years. In fact he became last ‘resort’ of Karnataka Congress in any crisis. Today Enforcement directorate arrested him and the news created tremors in Karnataka politics.

ED arrested DK Shivakumar in connection with the Rs 8 crore money laundering case. ED officials have been questioning him in New Delhi for last four days. There are rumors about DK having financial transactions and connections with Coffee Day as well. ED arrested DK alleging that he was not co-operating with the investigation.

DK Shiva Kumar responded on his arrest through twitter and tweeted, “I congratulate my BJP friends for finally being successful in their mission of arresting me. The IT and ED cases against me are politically motivated and I am a victim of BJP’s politics of vengeance and vendetta. I appeal to my party cadre, supporters and well-wishers to not be disheartened as I have done nothing illegal. I have full faith in God & in our country’s Judiciary and am very confident that I will emerge victorious both legally and politically against this vendetta politics. ”
