All eyes on Anand Devarakonda’s Dorasani

Tollywood sensation Vijay Devarakonda’s brother Anand is making his debut as a lead actor with Dorasani. This village-based romantic saga is carrying decent expectations after the trailer and the songs sounded impressive. Rajasekhar’s daughter Shivatmika is the lead actress in Dorasani. Set in the backdrop of 1980s in Telangana, Dorasani is a tale of two youngsters who fall in love and is about the challenges they face from society because of their castes.

Anand and Shivatmika fit well in their roles and the film is opening at the box-office this Friday. With some decent expectations and positive buzz surrounded, Dorasani has good scope to perform at the ticket windows across the Telugu states. KVR Mahendra directed Dorasani and Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, Yash Rangineni are the producers of this vintage love story. The film was shot across some beautiful and real locale of Telangana.

Tollywood gearing up for a packed July

After a decent summer, Tollywood witnessed a bunch of releases this June. Except Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, none of the releases impressed the audience. Now the audience are all set to witness a packed July. Samantha Akkineni will start off the month with Oh Baby which is slated for July 5th release. The film’s trailer is a smashing hit and kept huge expectations on the film.

Vijay Devarakonda’s brother Anand’s debut film Dorasani is slated for July 12th release. Puri Jagannadh and Ram’s Ismart Shankar along with Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Rakshasudu are slated for July 18th release. Sampoornesh Babu’s Kobbari Matta is announced for July 19th release. Vijay Devarkonda will complete the month with Dear Comrade which is announced for July 26th release. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this social drama.

Along with these films, Sundeep Kishan’s Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene, Srihari’s son Meghaamsh’s debut film Rajdooth too are announced for July release.

Dorasani pre look : The tale of a rich girl and a poor boy

Vijay Deverakonda’s brother Anand Deverakonda is making his debut as a hero in Tollywood with an upcoming film titled as Dorasani. The film has actor Rajasekhar’s daughter Sivatmika as the leading lady. The pre look poster of Dorasani has been unveiled this Saturday and it depicts the core point of the plot.

The poster features the hands of the lead pair affectionately reaching for each other as a symbol of love. It clearly reveals that Dorasani is going to narrate the story of a rich girl and poor boy. The shooting formalities are nearing completion and the makers are going to unveil the first look of the film on May 30th.

KVR Mahendra is directing this romantic entertainer and Madhura Shreedar is producing it in association with Yash Rangineni, the duo who produced Allu Sirish’s ABCD. Prasanth Vihari is rendering the soundtrack.
