Harsha Kumar’s son meets Naidu, to join TDP

0

Former Congress MP from Amalapuram, G V Harsha Kumar, joined the TDP just before the 2019 general election. He prostrated before TDP chief and then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu during the election campaign.

However, later he distanced himself from TDP and had tried several times to enter the YSR Congress. Harsha Kumar was in the ant-YSR camp in the Congress and sailed with V Hanumantha Rao. Perhaps this was the reason for him not to get entry into the YSR Congress.

Finally, he penned a new scheme and sent his son G V Sri Raj to Chandrababu Naidu before the latter started his Kuppam tour. Sri Raj is understood to have held a long discussion with Chandrababu Naidu which lasted for two hours.

Sources say Harsha Kumar would work for his son taking political retirement and take care of his educational institutions. The former MP, who was active in the then chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s team against the bifurcation.

Later, he joined Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Jai Samaikhyandhra Party and contested again from Amalapuram unsuccessfully in the 2014 elections. With his son entering active politics, he seems to have made up his mind to maintain the same distance from politics and allow his son to grow.

However, it is said that Chandrababu Naidu had not given the clear indication to Harsha Kumar’s son as Amalapuram TDP ticket is occupied by late G M C Balayogi’s son Harish Madhur who lost the election in 2019.

It is to be seen whether Chandrababu Naidu would offer the Amalapuram seat to Balayogi’s son or Harsha Kumar’s son in the 2024 general election.

‘Chiranjeevi’s CM post’ caste agenda of BJP Veerraju: Dalit ex MP

2

Congress Dalit leader and Ex MP Harsha Kumar has been known for his crusade against the Jaganmohan Reddy government on atrocities. Now, he launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Jana Sena Party. Harsha Kumar accused these parties of starting a vicious political game based on caste and religious lines. Interestingly, both the top leaders of these parties belong to Kapu caste.

Harsha Kumar accused BJP AP President Somu Veerraju of having an undoubted caste itching. The Ex MP said that Veerraju was acting like a Hanuman for the Chiranjeevi family. Veerraju was bent on making Chiranjeevi the chief minister of the state. It was all a big caste conspiracy between the Jana Sena Party and the BJP AP leader.

Harsha Kumar said that with an ulterior motive, the Jana Sena and the BJP have started the Kapu community in Godavari districts on the issue of chariot burning at Antarvedi. It was all because this temple falls under the Razole SC assembly constituency, the only MLA seat won by Jana Sena. But now Jana Sena and Veerraju were targetting the Razole Dalit MLA taking advantage of the Antarvedi torching incident.

Mr Harsha Kumar questioned why Veerraju and Pawan Kalyan didn’t fight and get CBI inquiry ordered into the Rajanagaram Dalit youth tonsure incident. This was enough to say how Veerraju and Jana Sena were indulging in a strange mix of caste and religious political game.

Ex MP arrest despite HC orders: Jagan Police Rajyam

0

The AP police arrested senior Congress dalit leader and Ex MP Harsha Kumar. Is this part of relentless political harassment of an extreme order in the state? Harsha Kumar was produced before the Rajahmundry court where he was denied bail. He was given 14 days judicial remand. Amalapuram Ex MP was was shifted to the Central jail. His followers accused CM Jaganmohan Reddy of taking his intolerable revenge politics to an ugly level. Harsha Kumar said that he was arrested though there was a High Court order not to arrest him. Obviously, Jagan Police Circar has no respect for the High Courts or Supreme Court or any court. It is playing around doing whatever it wants including contempt of courts to settle political scores. Harsha Kumar says that he has not insulted any judicial officer but case is filed on these false charges.

Political opponents are facing hellish time under Jagan Police Rule. Cases are being filed against Jagan critics cutting across political lines. Jagan Coterie has a single point agenda to suppress even the slightest voice of protest. So Jagan is resorting to these tactics to create fear psychosis in order to continue his atrocities without protests. Senior politicians are shocked at this political oppression. SC, ST Atrocities cases are being misused to threaten rivals. Jagan Kadapa style has not changed even after Ex Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao committed suicide because of non-stop harassment.

Harsha Kumar drags Jagan Regime to Supreme Court

0

Former MP Harsha Kumar is giving shocking embarrassments to the YCP government regarding its failure to bring out the sunken boat from the bottom of the Godavari river. Now, he has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking directions to the AP and Central Governments to retrieve the tragic boat. His petition came as a rude shock to the Jagan Reddy government as the Ex MP is continuing and intensifying his fight despite the police case filed against him for alleged misguiding statements on the boat tragedy.

Surprisingly, the AP Police are on a man-hunt to arrest Harsha Kumar for making false statements who has now made the same allegations before the apex court. He told the court that Jagan Circar is deliberately avoiding the retrieval of the boat since it would expose its failure to ensure safety of tourists. Tens of tourists were drowned in the tragedy. The Ex MP also told the court that the AP government has paid Rs 25 lakh to a contractor for taking out the boat. The contractor deliberately failed to retrieve the boat because he was asked by the powers-that-be to fail.

Jagan running an inhuman regime: Ex MP Harsha Kumar

0

Even day’s after the Godavari boat tragedy, the YCP Government is facing allegations of not retrieving the sunken boat from the bottom of the river. Ex MP Harsha Kumar said that the government is deliberately not bringing the boat out of the river because that would expose the many failures of the ruling YCP leaders and local officials.

Surprisingly, the police imposed section 144 in the boat tragedy site in Devipatnam area. The media is not being allowed to go there under this pretext. Harsha Kumar said that Jagan Circar is behaving inhumanly without the least regard for the feelings of the people. He asked how the government can play cover-up games without trying to punish the guilty and doing justice to the victims families.

The same section 144 was used to prohibit TDP Chalo Atmakur protests. It was also in force in the Palnadu region where YCP leaders are facing allegations of attacking and injuring rivals in many villages. The 144 section was also imposed in CM camp office limits following steady arrivals of large numbers of people asking for fulfilling election promises.

Earlier, Andhra Prabha daily also gave leaks that he is planning to join Janasena. It seems, he is all set to join the party as he got confirmation from Pawan himself.

Harsha Kumar started working for the congress since his student days. But post bifurcation, he left the party to join Samaikyandhra party floated by then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. While Kiran Kumar Reddy himself re-joined congress, his associates who joined his Samaikyandhra Party didn’t join Congress along with him.

Harsha Kumar is strong leader in Godavari districts and especially Amalapuram constituency. He also has strong clout on Dalit community in these districts. We will have to wait for final confirmation.
