    We are all aware of the fact that Akhil Akkineni’s Hello is the first film that shot in Hyderabad Metro Rail before the inauguration. In a recent interview, the crew has revealed some interesting facts about the HMR shooting and the struggles they faced.

    It took months for the Hello team to convince the metro rail authorities for shooting and the administration also held an awareness programme for the crew regarding the regulations, security, and cleanliness. They just allowed the trained crew to shot the sequences in HMR and they designed the schedules based on the metro rail workers without causing any disturbance for their works.

    They also revealed that the crew did a pre-production of more than a month for the shooting in HMR, to make sure all the things fall into right place. The team has worked hard to complete the schedule and sometimes postpone their work to avoid cliches with the metro workers and spent hours to set proper lighting. So, like you all, we are eagerly waiting how Vikram has shown the most prestigious and brand new HMR in Hello film.

    Hello is an upcoming romantic action entertainer starring Akkineni Akhil and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles.     Hello is an interesting composition with relaxed acoustic guitars, and breezy strings along with impressive lyrics by Vanamali and Shreshta. The song has a hummable instinct to it and an air of expressive breeziness fused with contemporary Rap.

    Ananganaga Oka Ooru is a storytelling styled composition carrying an air of innocence and swiftness. Chandrabose’s lyrics are quite appealing and at the same time doesn’t reveal much about the story. Sri Dhruti’s sweet vocals are amazingly sweet and lovely to hear! A very special mention should be made for violin which takes the front seat in style and poise. The composition oscillates between Carnatic raagas Suddha Dhanyasi and eerie Nata Bhairavi in effortless ease.

    It is time for a melancholic melody which is such a strong base of Anoop Rubens and swiftly it comes in the form of Thalachi Thalachi. Haricharan excels in this philosophically driven romantic number and the harmonic minor scale is quite evident throughout the song. A big applause of Vanamali’s lyrics which strike an impressive chord. The mixed feelings of longing, worry and eventually hope are beautifully presented in this song.

    The hero Akhil makes his presence felt with a soothing solo Yevevo again in western harmonic minor scale which obviously gives a feeling of eeriness and sadness. Lilting grand piano is ably supported by string section and very mild harmonica.

    Lyrics: Chandrabose

    The innocent Anangananga Oka Ooru now arrives in the supreme vocals of Shreya Ghoshal who gives the song a sense of melody and brings forth the brilliance of the tune. This version represents the feeling of love with an air of passion and maturity- thanks to the melody queen’s voice!

    Singers: Haricharan, Srinidhi Venkatesh, Shruthi Ranjani
    Lyrics: Vanamali, Shreshta

    The album gets a fitting finale with Merise Merise which fuses folk and trance- two totally contrasting genres of Music. This song would perfectly fit for a mellowed down party and doesn’t make an attempt to sound loud or jarry at any point of time. Haricharan,Srinidhi and Shruti Ranjani do their bit with an effortless ease and perfection! Anoop includes a celtic flavor in interludes which is quite rare for an Indian wedding number.

    All in all, Hello is a wonderful album and a whiff of fresh air in the midst of loud sounding Telugu albums and display multiple hues of love and sensitive emotions.

    Young and talented Anup Rubens has completed 50 films as music composer. Akkineni Akhil’s latest film Hello, which will have its audio launch today, marks the 50th film in his 13 year long career in South Indian film industry. Largely confined to Telugu cinema, Anup Rubens made his debut in 2004 with Teja’s Jai. There is no looking back for the talented composer after that as made a mark for himself in Tollywood in a short span of time.

    Some of his notable albums include Manam, Gopala Gopala, Gunde Jaari Gallantayinde, Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oka Laila Kosam to name a few.     Overseas market is turning out to be a decisive factor in deciding the box office fate of Telugu films. This is the reason why many of our stars are choosing scripts that equally cater the likes of both domestic and overseas audience. Moreover, our stars are also concentrating on promoting their films in overseas.

    We have already seen many occasions in the past when some of our star heroes went to US to woo audience as a part promotions.     While there has been a collective clamour from audience, media and many industry people that Manam rightly deserves to be awarded the Best Film in that year, Akkineni family remained phlegmatic and didn’t respond on the issue.

    Now, they made a silent satire on the jury’s decision through Akhil’s Hello Trailer. At the start of the trailer, Hello is referred as a film from the ‘Makers of Manam – To which you awarded your hearts’.

    Nagarjuna has ridiculed the awards by indirectly referring Manam as a film which might be ignored by the Awards Committee but won many hearts in Telugu states.

    This insinuating remark from Nagarjuna has now become a talking point among audience and industry circles.
