‘Amigos’ teaser: Loaded with Thrill and Action

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s thriller with Mythri Movie Makers is titled ‘Amigos’. The film, made on a rich scale, is heading to theatres on February 10, 2023.

Written and directed by Rajendra Reddy, the makers recently released the character first look posters, featuring all the dopplegangers from the film. Now today makers unveiled the intriguing teaser.

In the teaser, Unknown doppleganger Michael from Kolkata calls the other two dopplegangers to meet. And they meet and have fun while also experiencing strange things. When the three cross paths, chaos ensues, as demonstrated by the makers’ use of flash action cuts. Finally, doppleganger 3 said, “How can you play Cat and Mouse game with me?” indicating that this will be a brilliant game between dopplegangers.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in action mode with stylish looks is always a treat to watch. In three different looks and modulations, he awed. He also nailed the action scenes. Ghibran’s brilliant background score and rich visuals are an added bonus. The teaser did not reveal many details, but it did raise the bar for expectations.

Ashika Ranganath is playing the female lead. Ghibran is scoring the music and Soundar Rajan S handled the cinematography. Tammiraju taking care of editing while Avinash Kolla handling production design. Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the film.

Now the expectations reached to next level with makers surprising the audience with character posters. With stylish posters, the filmmakers introduced two characters from the film: entrepreneur Siddharth and software engineer Manjunath.

Now, they shared his third look poster and introduced his doppelganger 3 who is unknown in the exciting world of Amigos. Along with sharing the poster they also wrote, “Introducing NANDAMURIKALYAN as? An anonymous Doppelganger 3 to make the world of Amigos interesting. Amigos Teaser on Jan 8th at 11:07 AM.”

In the poster, Kalyan Ram appeared rugged and stylish with a thick beard and long hair. He looks terrific with a gun in his hand, and this look piques the audience’s interest. The makers also revealed that the teaser will be released on January 8th at 11:07 AM.

Ashika Ranganath is playing the female lead. Ghibran is scoring the music and Soundar Rajan S handled the cinematography. After the blockbuster success of Bimbisara, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram teamed up with debutant director Rajendra for his upcoming action entertainer. Tentatively titled NKR 19, the film has been reached to last stage of shooting.

The creators have returned with another update to amp up the excitement. Now the latest update is that the makers finalised the title ‘Amigos.’ Amigo is a Spanish word used to refer to a friend. And the makers have set the perfect release date for the film. Amigos will be released as a Shivaratri treat on February 10, 2023.

Announcing the news makers also released a blazing and stylish poster of Kalyan Ram with 3 shades. The unique poster denoting the film concept and the intriguing caption “They Say When You Meet Somebody that looks just like you, Your Die” sparked lot of curiosity in audience. Fans who have seen this poster say that it is a guarantee of a mass fair on silver screen again. Makers also teased with other looks of Kalyan Ram from this action entertainer.

Nandamuri Kalyanram is back with a bang with Bimbisara and the film is declared as the biggest hit in the actor’s career. Along with the unique content, Kalyanram’s team also worked on the VFX work. The film was made on a huge budget and NTR Arts already made huge profits. Kalyanram announced the sequel of Bimbisara even before the release and the director Vassishta is working on the final script of Bimbisara. The sequel of the film is planned on a massive budget and the shoot commences later this year.

Top producer and distributor Dil Raju distributed Bimbisara across the Telugu states. He lauded the entire team during the success meet of the film. Dil Raju loved the planning of Bimbisara. Now he came up with a business proposal for Kalyanram. As the sequel would be made on a lavish note and will carry huge expectations, Dil Raju is in plans to join the film as a co-producer. Kalyanram responded on a positive note but he would take the final call only after the script is locked and the budgets are finalized. For now, Vassishta and his team are working on the final script. Nandamuri Kalyanram is on cloud nine after his recent offering Bimbisara is doing terrific business. After an outstanding first week, the film is holding decent in its second week. Kalyanram planned a special screening of Bimbisara for the entire Nandamuri family last week. The show got canceled due to the sudden demise of Kantamaneni Uma Maheshwari garu. Some of the family members were tested with coronavirus during the same time. Balayya and some of the Nandamuri family members watched Bimbisara today.

The film is reporting terrific numbers and the makers and the distributors recovered their investments in the first weekend. Kalyanram even before the release of Bimbisara announced the sequel. Debutant Vassishta is ready with the bound script of Bimbisara 2. During a recent interview, Kalyanram revealed about Bimbisara 2.

“The sequel will tell the backstory of the ruthless King Bimbisara and his journey over the years. Bimbisara 2 will also narrate about his conflict with his brother and how he attempted to kill him” told Kalyanram during an interview. Sensational director VV Vinayak interviewed Kalyanram and Vassishta and the interview is now available. The shoot of Bimbisara 2 will commence later this year and it will be made on a big-budget. Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara has created a storm at the box office and is seeing great occupancies everywhere. The film had an excellent opening day and received positive reviews. It continued the same momentum on Day 2 and Day 3 as well.

The 3 days share of Bimbisara now stands at 15.9C share in AP and TS and the movie has achieved breakeven in just 3 days. All the distributors have entered into the profit zone, as the rights for the film were bought for 13 cr. The movie is generating profits to distributors in all the territories and is running to packed houses in most centers.

Sharing the incredible love and happiness Distributors held a happiness success meet where all of the major distributors and team members gathered to share their delight. After back to back failures at the box office, the distributors are ecstatic with Bimbisara’s massive success. It appears that this Bimbisara reign will continue this week.

Debutant Mallidi Vasisht has directed the film that also stars Catherine Tresa, Samyukhta Menon, and Vivan Bhatena in key roles. Kalyan Ram’s own banner NTR Arts has bankrolled this project with Hari Krishna.K producing it with MM Keeravani lending the tunes.

Bimbisara, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the titular role, was released today in theatres worldwide. The film received immense love and a blockbuster response from the Telugu audience. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram made a historic comeback, and director Vassishta scored a blockbuster on his debut.
