Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva are working on a social drama and the shoot is under progress in Hyderabad. Impressed with one of the key roles, Chiranjeevi wanted Charan to play the role. Koratala Siva too was convinced and things changed completely after RRR release is pushed for release next year. Chiranjeevi is keen on releasing his film this year and he is not ready to push the film for summer 2021.

There are speculations that Mahesh Babu or Allu Arjun may replace Ram Charan in the film but Chiranjeevi is quite strict on the stand and he wants Charan to do the role at any cost. The makers haven’t approached any other actor for the role. The talks are on about the release date. With a lot of stake involved, Chiranjeevi wants the film to release this year. Chiranjeevi and Rajamouli are expected to meet once again and finalize things soon.

Megastar Chiranjeevi started shooting for Kortala Siva’s project recently. The film is a social drama that discusses about a scam in Temples. The makers are now erecting a lavish set in the outskirts of Hyderabad and the set is costing Rs 20 crores for the makers. A small village setup along with a temple and Megastar’s home is erected in the set. The unit will shoot for over 60 days in this special set.

Trisha is the leading lady and the actress will join the sets in the next schedule. Manisharma is the music composer and Konidela Production Company, Matinee Entertainments are the producers. The makers are keen on releasing the film during the second half of 2020.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been on a break from the past few months after the release of Syeraa. He signed his next film in the direction of Koratala Siva and the project is a social drama. Though the film got its official launch during Dasara, the shoot of the film was kept on hold due to various reasons. The pre-production work of the film got wrapped up recently and the regular shoot kick-starts from today in Kokapet. A massive house set is erected for the shoot.

Without major breaks, the shoot of this untitled film will take place till Sankranthi. After a small break for Sankranthi, the film’s shoot will take place without breaks. Trisha is the leading lady and Manisharma is the music composer. Made on a huge budget of Rs 140 crores, this untitled social drama will hit the screens during Independence Day weekend. Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Production Company are the producers.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and the team of Syeraa went for a pan Indian release for the periodic drama. Leaving many in disappointment, the film failed to make the magic across the non-Telugu states. Chiranjeevi had plans to present his next project directed by Koratala Siva as a pan Indian release. But with Syeraa’s performance, Chiranjeevi has now focused on Tollywood alone and he took a U-Turn on the project.

He firmly believes that Koratala Siva’s film has enough stuff and decided to focus on Telugu alone. Though the makers initially planned to rope in Bollywood technicians, they later called it a skip. The film will release in Telugu strictly and they would take a call about the film’s release in other languages after the release. Trisha is the leading lady and Manisharma is composing the music.

The regular shoot of this social drama starts from December 26th in Hyderabad. Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy are the producers.

In this current scenario, top director Koratala Siva is planning to complete his next film with Megastar Chiranjeevi in quick time.

As per the latest buzz in industry circles, the makers of this highly anticipated film are aiming to release it for Summer next year. Even though the film is yet to start rolling, they are confident that the entire shooting part will be wrapped up before Summer because of well planned schedules. Siva has finalized the script formalities and is currently on the look for a lead actress opposite Chiranjeevi. He has reportedly promised the makers to get the film ready for Summer without any delay.

Summer is one of the most preferred windows by Telugu producers because films will have long run at box office during this period. Some of the Tollywood’s recent biggest hits also released in Summer and proved this fact true. So, producer Ram Charan is very particular about releasing this prestigious film in mid Summer next year. Chiranjeevi’s last two films took more than one year for completing their shoots. Wrapping up a big budget film in less than five months is definitely an uphill task and a rare feat these days in Tollywood. So, Koratala Siva and his team has a huge challenge before him. It remains to be seen if they can pull off this rare feat with perfect planning or not.
