Lokesh condemns destruction in the name of bandh

1

Strongly condemning the destruction caused by the ruling party goondas in the name of observing bandh, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Saturday said that this has become possible only for the ruling party to indulge in attacks on the Opposition party activists right in the presence of the police.

In the name of the bandh these YSRCP rowdies damaged the bus belonging to the Amarraaja Batteries company, Lokesh said and asked where the police officials were who were supposed to protect the law and order in the State. The day is not too far when the people teach a fitting lesson to these goons, he added.

During his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra the villagers of Bommarajupalli and Kuchinapalli submitted memorandums to Lokesh. Responding to their problems, Lokesh promised to resolve all the issues once the TDP is back in power.

Listing out various welfare schemes announced by the TDP, Lokesh said that all these schemes will be implemented in letter and spirit by the coming TDP government. It is only the TDP that always thinks about the welfare of the common man, Lokesh said.

Lokesh promises to distribute assigned lands to poor

1

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Thursday promised to distribute the assigned lands to the poor immediately after the party forms the coming government.

“We will acquire all the assigned lands that are now illegally occupied and distribute them to the poor,” Lokesh told the villagers of Kotcherla of Vinukonda Assembly segment in combined Guntur district during his Yuva Galam pada yatra. When the villagers of Kotcherla complained that they do not even have drinking water, Lokesh said that this corrupt Government did not implement even the Centrally sponsored Jal Jeevan Mission scheme.

“Once the TDP is back in power all the problems of the rural areas will be resolved. Safe drinking water will be supplied to every doorstep and house-sites will be allotted to those who do not have shelter,” Lokesh told the villagers.

As the Yuva Galam reached the 2,300 km milestone at Kondramutla village, the TDP general secretary laid the foundation stone for the Varikapudisela project. “I am assuring you that the coming TDP government will take up the project and complete it in a record time to meet the needs of the people here,” Lokesh announced on the occasion.

When the farmers from Angaluru said that they are not getting Minimum Support Price for their farm products, Lokesh said that since the Chief Minister has zero knowledge on agriculture the farmers are facing such untold hardships. Once the TDP is back in power their issues will be resolved on a war-footing basis, he said.

When the other villagers said that they are not getting any farm loans since their lands belong to the assigned category, Lokesh said that once the TDP government is formed a detailed survey will be conducted and these lands will be deleted from the prohibitory category.

Lokesh is giving a one-day gap for Yuva Galam on Friday as he is attending the Mangalagiri court. Lokesh is getting ready for a legal battle against a media house and the then chairman of Skill Development, Ajay Reddy, for spreading falsehood against him.

Jagan has no time to meet flood-hit, review damage, says Lokesh

1

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is so busy in robbing the State and is not finding time even to meet the flood-affected and hold a review meeting on the damage caused to the State with the recent incessant rains, remarked TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday.

Addressing a mammoth gathering at Vinukonda as part of his Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that the State Government has been saying that essentials will be supplied to the rain-hit after the flood situation recedes. “Till that time what should they eat? Does the Government want them to succumb to hunger,” Lokesh asked.

Expressing concern that in the rehabilitation centers too poor quality food is being supplied to the flood victims, the TDP general secretary said that Jagan is taking vicious pleasure in the suffering of the flood-affected. When Chandrababu Naidu was the chief minister, he used to visit the flood-hit areas much before the officials, he stated.

Observing that Jagan wants the youth to always remain poor, Lokesh said the Chief Minister has hit the future of the youth very badly by not filling up the vacant posts in various government wings. What happened to the Group-2 posts, vacancies in the Police Department and the DSC, he asked and pointed out that the existing Ambedkar Study Circles and BC Study Circles have been ordered to be closed.

The TDP, immediately after forming the coming government, will pay Rs 3,000 per month to every jobless youth till he or she gets employment, Lokesh said, adding that in five years 20 lakh employment opportunities will be created. Maintaining that the farming community too is the worst-hit during the YSRCP rule, Lokesh said that facilities like input subsidy, drip irrigation and other benefits will be extended to the farmers by the coming TDP government.

Coming TDP govt will give priority to rural areas, says Lokesh

0

The TDP government will give top most priority to providing basic facilities in rural areas like drinking water, roads and drainage, said party general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday.

When the Ravvavaram villagers of Vinukonda Assembly segment in combined Guntur district in a memorandum sought providing basic facilities, Lokesh said that due to the failure of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, the roads in the rural areas are in a dilapidated condition and soon after the TDP forms the next government all the needs will be met. Roads from the village to the agricultural lands will be reconstructed, he added.

Lokesh’s Yuva Galam pada yatra entered Vinukonda Assembly segment at Mupparajupalem in combined Guntur district, and was received by thousands of TDP leaders and activists. Party leaders, Pattipati Pulla Rao, Tenali Sravan Kumar, Alapati Rajendra Prasad, Kanna Laximinarayana, Nakka Ananda Babu, Dhulipala Narendra, Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao, Julakanti Brahma Reddy, Kommalapati Sridhar, Kovelamudi Ravindra, Nazir Ahmed, Vegasaneni Narendar Varma, Gonuguntla Koteswara Rao and several others accompanied by their large number of supporters gave a warm reception to Lokesh.

When the villagers of Mupparajupalem complained of severe drought conditions in their area, Lokesh said that this Government is not utilising even the Central funds released to meet the drinking water needs of the villagers. Andhra Pradesh is in the 18th place in the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission, he said, adding that once the TDP is back in power all their problems will be addressed on a war-footing basis.

The villagers of Putchanuthala raised various issues, Lokesh said that there is a scam in every scheme being implemented by this Government. Immediately after the TDP is into power all the facilities will be provided in all the government hospitals. Adarana scheme will be reimplemented to provide subsidy to fishermen, he added.

Lokesh told the villagers of Ramudupale and Lakshmipuram that every door-step will be supplied safe drinking water by the coming TDP government. He also told the villagers of Nuzendla that migrations will be checked by the coming TDP government by providing all the facilities in the villages.

Lokesh began his 172nd day pada yatra at Kempalli campsite of Darsi Assembly segment in combined Prakasam district and in a few hours the pada yatra entered the combined Guntur district.

Jagan resorted to Rs 7k cr scam in one cent lands to poor project, says Lokesh

1

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has resorted to Rs 7,000 cr scam in the name of distributing one cent land to the poor, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Monday.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Mundlamuru of Darsi Assembly segment in combined Prakasam district as part of his pada yatra, Lokesh said the Chief Minister has raised the curtains for a new scam in the name of allotment of one cent land for the poor. Besides these Rs 7,000 cr, Jagan has made another Rs 2,200 cr in the name of levelling these lands which are not useful for building houses, he remarked.

If it rains these lands turn into swimming pools and even the foundations laid by Jagan disappear in these rains, Lokesh said. “When YSRCP MLA, Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy, himself has made a comment that these houses are not fit for residential purpose, I did not believe it but after watching the present situation I have come to a conclusion that the MLA is hundred percent correct,” the TDP general secretary commented. Till now only Indiramma houses are stated to be of poor quality but Jagan has broken the record, Lokesh said.

Observing that though the voters from the State have elected 31 MPs from the YSRCP, Lokesh said that all of them are engaged themselves only in formulating strategies to escape from cases. What happened to the promise made to the voters on the special category status, he asked.

The TDP has already announced various schemes in the name of ‘Bhavishayathuku Guarantee’, Lokesh said, adding that all these schemes will be implemented once the TDP forms the coming government. The farmers are the worst sufferers in Jagan’s rule with spurious seeds and fertilisers, he said.

Expressing confidence that the TDP will certainly come back to power in 2024, Lokesh promised to develop Darsi and an industrial corridor will be set up in Donakonda. Lokesh said that the people of combined Prakasam district have shown utmost love and affection towards him during his 17-day pada yatra in the district.

Earlier the villagers of Vempadu in a memorandum said that they do not have irrigation facilities for their lands. Responding to them, Lokesh promised to complete all the pending projects once the party forms the next government and all their demands will be conceded.

Let us focus on majority, Lokesh tells TDP leaders

1

Since the TDP has already achieved victory, the party leaders and activists should focus on getting the best possible majority, party general secretary Nara Lokesh told the party leaders and activists on Saturday.

Chairing a meeting of the party leaders from Parchur Assembly segment in the combined Prakasam district during his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Saturday at Gundlapalli campsite, Lokesh said that “Leaders come and go but the activists are permanent.” He called upon those present at the meeting to concentrate on getting the maximum possible majority in every Assembly segment.

Lokesh feels that the days of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, are numbered. The coming nine months are very crucial for the TDP since the party is now very keen on getting the highest majority in all the segments, Lokesh said and asked them to be among the public always to bring awareness among them on this atrocious rule.

Stating that he has completed 2,200 km-long pada yatra till now with all the blessings of the five core people, including the family members of the party, the TDP national general secretary tried to instill confidence among them. “If you face any kind of trouble the party is always with you. Unlike any other political outfit, the TDP is providing insurance coverage and has created a welfare fund for you all,” Lokesh said.

The party national leader wanted all the cluster, booth, unit and mandal-level activists to work together with close coordination. “Knock every door and see to it that all the voters in your area exercise their franchise,” Lokesh told the party leaders and activists. Maintaining that even those who voted for the YSRCP in the last elections are now keenly looking towards the TDP as they are fed up with the activities of the ruling party, Lokesh told those present at the meeting that if anyone tries to create unnecessary trouble to the party activists bring it to the notice of the high command.

Earlier in an interaction with professionals from different sectors, Lokesh said that Andhras never wanted the bifurcation of the State. Today everyone is of the opinion that it is only the TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, who can work for the betterment of the State, he said.

Pointing out that Amaravathi has been declared as the capital after getting consent from everyone, Chandrababu as the chief minister of the State has clearly shown what decentralisation is. While Rayalaseema has been transformed as an electronics and automobile hub, Visakhapatnam has been turned into an Information Technology (IT) hub, Lokesh said.

After hearing all their problems, Lokesh told the professionals that Jagan eased out several companies which have set up their units in the State, thus creating unemployment. Expressing concern over the prevailing conditions in the State, Lokesh felt that Chandrababu should come back as the chief minister for the State to progress well.

Promising to encourage all the professionals politically, Lokesh felt an immediate need to bring back all those companies which left the State to create employment here. The TDP general secretary said that all the schemes that are withdrawn now will be reintroduced once the TDP forms the coming government and all the professionals will be given proper importance in their respective fields.

Lokesh began his Yuva Galam on Saturday at Gundlapalli campsite and the pada yatra entered Addanki Assembly segment in the evening from Santhanuthalapadu.

People in State are living under constant fear, says Lokesh

0

People in the State are now living under constant fear as almost all sections are the victims of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and his Government, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday.

Lokesh had an interaction with the representatives of the granite industry during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra. When they complained that Jagan has destroyed the Cheemakurthi granite industry which was providing employment to over four lakh people and that of the 800 industries more than half were shut down after the YSRCP came to power, Lokesh said that the Chief Minister has hit below the belt to those who are dependent on granite.

Stating that during the TDP regime, several subsidies have been extended to granite industry, Lokesh promised to bring in a better policy for the further growth of the industry. “Immediately after the TDP forms the next government we will study the policies being adopted by the neighbouring States and will adopt them for the further growth of the granite sector,” Lokesh told them.

Assuring them that the power charges too will be brought down considerably, the TDP general secretary said he will personally take the responsibility of coming to the rescue of the mining industry. He, however, made an appeal to the representatives to provide maximum possible employment opportunities to the locals.

Stating that the GOs brought in by the Jagan Government which are adversely affecting the mining industry will be revoked, Lokesh said the illegal cases filed against the management will be lifted totally soon after the TDP is into power again. Jagan has seriously hampered the transport sector too by imposing heavy penalties and taxes, Lokesh said these taxes too will be reduced by the coming TDP government to provide some sort of relief to those who are in the transport sector.

As pada yatra touched another milestone of 2200 km at the First Ward of Trovagunta, Lokesh laid the foundation for the drainage system in the area on this occasion. The TDP, soon after coming back to power, will take up the drainage works, he said.

At the Ongole Agricultural Market Yard, the farmers from the district met Lokesh and submitted a memorandum on the problems they are facing with an appeal to resolve them once the TDP forms the government again. Responding to them, Lokesh said that the farming community has to bear these problems for some more months as a person who does not have even basic knowledge on agriculture is now in the ruling. “Once the TDP is back into power all their problems will be resolved,”he said.

If ruler is a criminal where is security for common man, asks Lokesh

0

If the person in power who has to implement the laws is a criminal, how can the common man expect safety and security from such a leader, asked TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Thursday.

Charing the ‘Jaiho BCs (Backward Classes)’ seminar at Ongole during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that it is really miserable that action is not being initiated despite a victim approaching the police. What happened to the repeated claims of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, that if any injustice is done to anyone Jagan will arrive much before a gun, Lokesh asked.

Observing that the whole State is living under constant fear in this psycho rule, Lokesh said that within 100 days of the TDP forming the coming government a legislation will be enacted for the security of the BCs. In fact, only after the TDP is formed BCs have got freedom both politically and economically, he added.

Recalling that it is the founder of the TDP, the late NT Rama Rao, who introduced welfare to the whole country, the party national general secretary said soon after the party is back in power funds will be allocated to BCs as per their population ratio. Promising that the Adarana scheme will be reintroduced which is now withdrawn by the YSRCP Government, he said financial assistance will be provided to BCs for further studies abroad.

In order to build a poverty-free State, financial assistance will be provided to BCs to make them self-reliant, Lokesh said. This apart, industrialists will be welcomed to the State to set up their units to provide large scale employment opportunities to the youth, he stated.

Maintaining that the TDP will again create a history by doing justice to the BCs, Lokesh said that those who are now harassing the community will be taken to task once the TDP is back in power. Lokesh clarified the doubts raised by the participants. Members of the community from different parts of the State were present at the programme who noted anchor Udaya Bhanu facilitated the interaction.

Lokesh promises to transform Prakasam dist into pharma hub

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday promised to transform the combined Prakasam district as a pharma hub once the TDP forms the coming government in 2024.

It is a sea of humanity in Ongole as the people from the district gathered here as they have come to know that their young leader is addressing a public meeting at the district headquarters town during the Yuva Galam pada yatra. As Lokesh entered Ongole, the public gathered in large numbers on either side of the road to have a glimpse of their leader.

When the TDP general secretary began addressing a huge gathering, there was a large-scale response from the crowd as all of them began raising slogans like “TDP zindabad, Chandrababu zindabad and Lokesh zindabad’. Lokesh started his address by greeting the massive gathering and recalling the history of Ongole.

Observing that it was Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of the State revised the monthly pension from Rs 200 to Rs 2,000, Lokesh said that the TDP is the care of address for welfare while the YSRCP is known for looting. Who waived the farm loans and who has allocated free houses to the poor, the TDP general secretary asked the public and said that it is the TDP that always thinks about the common man while Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has no right to talk about the poor.

Lokesh asked as to why the Chief Minister, who is now promising to build houses for the poor in Amaravathi in the next six months, did not take up such an initiative in the past four years and three months in the State. Only TDP supremo, Naidu, has affection towards the poor but not Jagan, he remarked.

Reaffirming that the TDP will implement all the schemes announced in the name of ‘Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’, Lokesh said that job notification will be issued every year. All the pending projects will also be completed, he said and sought the blessings of the people of Prakasam.

Jagan’s inefficiency is curse to AP, says Lokesh

0

The inefficient administration of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has become a curse to the State, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday.

During the ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra, when the villagers of Santhanuthalapadu of combined Prakasam district, in a memorandum raised several issues, including the lack of safe drinking water to the, Lokesh said though the Centre has released its share of funds to provide safe drinking water to the people of the State, this inefficient Chief Minister could not avail the benefit since the State’s share was not paid due to non-availability of funds. On the floor of Parliament, the Union Minister has made it clear that the State Government could not avail the benefit of the Jal Jeevan scheme since 2021, Lokesh said.

“Jagan has the credit of taking Andhra Pradesh much behind Bihar in availing the benefits of the Jal Jeevan scheme,” the TDP general secretary observed. Immediately after the TDP forms the next government, the drinking water problem will be resolved permanently in the whole State, Lokesh declared.

Later in an interaction with two-wheeler mechanics of Santhanuthalapadu, Lokesh said that the State will soon get rid of the virus that has been plaguing the State for the past four years. He said that since the technology is being frequently upgraded even in two-wheeler operations too, the ruling dispensation should take the responsibility of training the mechanics to suit the changing trends. Once the TDP is back in power the bike mechanics will be imparted training to upgrade themselves to meet the changing trends, Lokesh said.

Observing that the TDP aims at building poverty-free Andhra Pradesh, Lokesh said that self-employment will be given top priority in the coming TDP government. Lokesh said that he is very fond of driving a bike and several times he reached the mechanic whenever his two-wheeler gave him trouble.

When the villagers of Mangamuru wanted their problems to be addressed, Lokesh said once the TDP is into power in the next elections, all their issues will be redressed. Safe drinking water will be supplied to every doorstep and all the roads will be rebuilt once the TDP forms the next government, Lokesh maintained.

Jagan marketing medical seats for crores of rupees, says Lokesh

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Monday said that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is marketing the medical seats for hefty amounts that are to be allocated for the Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Backward Classes (BCs) and Minorities.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Cheemakurthy of combined Prakasam district as part of his pada yatra on Monday, Lokesh recalled the statement made by Jagan that he would make the SCs, STs, BCs and Minorities as doctors at free of cost and the State Government will bear the total expenditure irrespective of the amount to be spent. “Now, Jagan is marketing these medical seats in the open market for crores of rupees,” Lokesh remarked.

Till now the fees for a convener quota medical seat if a mere Rs 15,000 per annum and now these seats are being sold at Rs 20 lakh per annum, Lokesh said. Each medical seat costs Rs 1 cr, that too in a government college, Lokesh said and asked can a candidate from SC, ST, BC and Minorities communities pay this much amount.

The reply of the Minister for Medical and Health, Rajnni, is very funny on this, he said. “Such huge amount of fees for the medical seats is being charged only to prevent the students from migrating to other countries,” is the funniest reply of the Minister when asked why so much is being collected from students, Lokesh noted.

Observing that all the schemes announced in the name of ‘Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’ will be implemented once the TDP forms the next government, Lokesh told the farmers not to accept metres to motors. “Firmly resist it and the TDP will stand by you all,” he said.

Pointing out that false cases are being registered against BCs during the YSRCP rule, Lokesh said once the TDP is back in the government all such cases will be lifted. Also, funds will be allocated to the BCs as per their population ratio, he said.

Maintaining that Jagan has a share of Rs 50 cr in the one cent land distribution, Lokesh said that Rs 10,000 each was collected from the beneficiaries through volunteers. Even the posts in various government departments are being sold at heavy price, the TDP general secretary said.

Lokesh promised to lift all the cases that are filed against the TP leaders and activists immediately after the TDP is into power. Lokesh also strongly condemned the charge that if the TDP is back in power the State will not have sufficient rains, Lokesh said wherever he steps in that particular area is experiencing heavy downpour.

Later, when the handloom workers in a memorandum pointed out that they are not getting subsidy for power, Lokesh promised to take it up once the TDP forms the next government. Loans on subsidy too will be sanctrioned to them, he said.

Your father asked you not to enter State, Lokesh reminds Jagan

1

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s own father, late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, had asked him not to step into the State and this clearly reflects how bad his character is, remarked Nara Lokesh, TDP general secretary, on Saturday.

Addressing a public meeting at Podili in Markapur Assembly segment of the combined Prakasam district during his Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that it is highly ridiculous that a criminal talking about character. “It is not my father who asked me not to enter the State but it is your father who strictly ordered you not to step into the State,” Lokesh remarked.

Not only this, Jagan eased his own sister and mother out of his house and termed the killing of his own paternal uncle as a heart stroke, Lokesh said. Jagan has deceived women by not fulfilling the promise made before elections that total prohibition will be imposed if he comes to power, the TDP general secretary observed.

Stating that soon after forming the next government the TDP is planning to launch several welfare programmes in the name of ‘Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’, Lokesh declared that Rs 3,000 per month will be paid to the jobless youth till they get employment. Observing that all the pending posts will be filed immediately after the TDP forms the next government, he said that funds will be allocated to every community as per their population ratio.

Earlier the villagers of Pothavaram narrated their problems to Lokesh that during the Ganesh immersion the local YSRCP leaders attacked them. while cases were registered against them for no fault of theirs. Responding to the villagers, Lokesh said that during Jagan’s rule there is a new trend that cases are being booked against the victims.

“Immediately the TDP is back in power, all such cases will be lifted and a detailed inquiry will be ordered into such incidents,” Lokesh said, adding that the culprits will be taken to task.

When the citizens of the fourth ward of Podili, in a memorandum explained various issues, Lokesh said that the Chief Minister, who is expected to provide basic amenities to the people, including supply of drinking water, is simply ignoring them. Soon after the TDP is back in power all their problems will be resolved on a war-footing basis, Lokesh added.

TDP’s goal is promoting all sections beyond caste, creed, says Lokesh

0

Since poverty does not have caste, religion, and region, the TDP has set the goal of promoting all sections irrespective of caste, creed and religion, observed party general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday.

Before beginning his Yuva Galam pada yatra on Friday, Lokesh interacted with members of Kamma community at Yerraobuna Palli campsite of Kanigiri Assembly segment in the combined Prakasam district. When a majority of them said that they had a doubt whether Mr Lokesh will have any interaction in any part of the State during his pada yatra, the TDP general secretary said that he and his party always focus on eliminating poverty but on any particular caste.

“In the past 160 days I have been meeting almost all sections of people like BCs, SCs, STs, Minorities, Balijas, Reddys, Brahmins and Vysyas and have interacted with them to have first-hand information on the problems they are facing. Till now, I have not conducted any meetings with only two communities, one is Kamma and the other Marvari. So, the meeting with the Kamma community is over now,” Lokesh said.

Observing that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is instigating clashes among various communities in the name of caste, religion, and region, Lokesh said that Jagan has come to power only on caste politics. “Now he (Jagan) is destroying the State,” Lokesh remarked.

When the other States are progressing well in all sectors, AP is marching backwards which is causing concern for everyone, he stated. It is the TDP that implemented decentralisation of development, Lokesh pointed out that Jagan too supported Amaravati as the capital on the floor of the Assembly. “But he changed tack soon after coming to power and turned Visakhapatnam as the crime capital in the name of three capitals issue,” Lokesh said.

Majority of those who have given their lands for the capital are SCs, he said that Jagan has deliberately started the miscampaign that only Kammas are in the area to damage the capital region. Jagan has taken Hitler as his example, Lokesh said, adding that while Hitler had targeted the Jews Jagan had targeted the Kamma community. The TDP founder, late NT Rama Rao or TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, never targeted any community, he stated.

Jagan converted all universities into YSRCP offices, says Lokesh

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has boasted that the universities in the State should compete with Oxford and Cambridge has sadly converted them into the party offices of the YSRCP, remarked TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Thursday.

The ground reality is that the roof of the degree college in Araku has collapsed and the students ran out to escape from the tragedy while a fourth standard student, Akhil, was murdered inside the Girijan Welfare Hostel in Puliramudi Gudem, Lokesh recalled with great concern while addressing a public meeting at Kanigiri in the combined Prakasam district during his pada yatra on Thursday.

Stating that Jagan can never come in his way during the Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that the Chief Minister has started playing new draas by deputing I-PAC team to his meetings. Observing that this strategy too has miserably failed, Lokesh asked “what is that the members of the I-PAC team can do.”

Maintaining that he personally witnessed the problems of various sections of people during his 2,000 km-long pada yatra, the TDP general secretary said that the party has thus announced various welfare schemes in the name of ‘Bhavishaythuku Guarantee’.

There is no Group-2 nor the DSC and the promise of filling 6,500 posts every year too has not been fulfilled, Lokesh pointed out. The existing Ambedkar Study Circles and the BC Study Circles were shut down and the fee reimbursement scheme too was withdrawn by bringing in the GO 77, he added.

“I am promising you that once the TDP forms the next government, in five years 20 lakh jobs will be created and Rs 3,000 monthly allowance will be paid each for the unemployed till they get jobs,” Lokesh declared. Study circles too will be set up in all the districts in the State, he said.

Earlier when the villagers of Sankavaram complained of lack of roads and drinking water facility, Lokesh assured them that the coming TDP government will resolve all their problems. As the Yuva Galam entered Kanigiri town, people gathered in large numbers to have a glimpse of Lokesh and they all began narrating their cup of woes. Lokesh heard them with patience and promised all of them that their issues will be addressed once the TDP is back in power.

TDP government would lay all roads on priority, says Lokesh

0

Stating that the condition of the roads in all the rural areas across the State has deteriorated after Jagan Mohan Reddy has become the Chief Minister, said TDP general secretary, Nara Loeksh, and added that the TDP government would lay all the roads on priority

When the villagers of Gudevaripalem of Kanigiri Assembly segment in the combined Prakasam district met Lokesh during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra on Wednesday and complained about the poor condition of roads, the TDP national general secretary said that the contractors are not coming forward to take up even mini works in YSRCP rule as bills worth Rs 1.30 lakh cr are pending clearance.

Pointing out that 25,000 km long roads were constructed during the TDP regime, Lokesh promised them that all the roads in the rural areas will be rebuilt by the coming TDP government. When the villagers raised the drinking water crisis in their areas, Lokesh said the coming TDP government will supply safe drinking water to every door-step through the water-grid.

The Ajispuram villagers in a memorandum too raised the drinking water problem being faced by them, Lokesh felt how the Chief Minister, who consumes Rs 1,000 each worth of bottled water, knows the problems of the common man. It is really unfortunate that a person who is unable to supply even drinking water to the villagers is ruling the State, he remarked.

Pointing out that Andhra Pradesh is in the 18th position in implementing the Centre’s Jal Jeevan scheme, Lokesh said that Jagan and his team are least bothered about the people’s problems. A summer storage tank will be built immediately after the TDP comes back to power and the drinking water issue across the State will be addressed on a war-footing basis, Mr Lokesh noted.

As the Yuva Galam touched the 2100 km mark at Ajispuram, Lokesh laid the foundation for a summer storage tank here. “I really feel happy that the pada yatra reached another milestone of 2100 km at Ajispuram in Kanigiri Assembly segment and the TDP, immediately after forming the next government, will resolve all the problems being faced by various sections,” Lokesh added.

Even police officers too are feeling insecure in Jagan’s rule, says Lokesh

Even police officers are feeling insecure in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule and the recent incident that took place in a police station in Sullurpet reflects this beyond doubt, said TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday.

Addressing a massive public meeting at K Agraharam in Kondapi Assembly segment of Prakasam district during his pada yatra on Tuesday, Lokesh said when there is no security for police officers in the State one can easily imagine the fate of the common man.

Recalling the incident that has taken place recently at Sullurpet police station, Lokesh said that local sub-inspector (SI), Ravi Babu, a Dalit, summoned a leader of the YSRCP, Sunil Reddy, to the police station for counselling. The YSRCP leader not only attacked the Dalit SI for discharging his duties but also filed a reverse case against him, Lokesh recalled.

Another Dalit police inspector, Ananda Rao, from Tadipatri hanged himself to death, unable to bear the pressure from the local ruling party leaders. When there is no security for the police officials in their own place of working (police station) what about the fate of the common citizens, Lokesh asked.

Referring to another incident in which a government teacher, Krishna, who had a very good record, was beaten to death in Rajam of Vizianagaram district by hitting and running a Bolero over him. When the teacher was almost on the verge of collapse, finally he was beaten to death, Lokesh regretted.

Making a promise to develop the combined Prakasam district by the coming TDP government, Lokesh asked as to why the YSRCP has miserably failed to develop the district despite having nine MLAs. “I am ready for a debate on the development of Prakasam district. Are the YSRCP leaders coming for this open debate,” he asked.

Lokesh suspects scam behind every scheme of Jagan

0

There is scam behind every scheme being implemented in the State Government by Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, remarked the TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Sunday.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Valetivaripalem of Kamdukur Assembly segment in Prakasam district during his ongoing Yuva Galam pada yatra, Lokesh said that he had some suspicion when the name of the scheme ‘Suraksha’ was mentioned. ”Finally, former minister, Perni Naani, finally clarified that it is not Suraksha but a Saturn haunting the State,” Lokesh said.

Stating that Perni Naani, during a media conference, has agreed that the volunteers are taking the personal details of every person, Lokesh said that the volunteers are making inquires whether the people are reading a particular daily, which publishes stories favourable to YSRCP, where the whole idea behind it got exposed. Cautioning the people that their personal data is being stolen, Lokesh told them to be cautious about their assets.

Observing that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has deceived almost all sections of people by not fulfilling the promises made to them, the TDP national general secretary said that Jagan is the first Chief Minister who has withdrawn over 100 welfare schemes. Farmers too are no exception as they are being cheated with spurious seeds and fertilisers and the State recorded highest number of farmers suicides, he noted.

Instead of coming to the rescue of the farmers, Jagan is planning to fix meters to water pumping motors, Lokesh maintained. After noticing all such problems being faced by the farmers, the TDP has decided to extend Rs 20,000 annually to every farmer under Annadata Sukhibhava scheme immediately after coming back to power, Lokesh said. Dalits too have no security in the YSRCP rule and the coming TDP government will take all possible measures for their safety and security of the community, he noted.

Lokesh assured the TDP leaders and activists that the party will solidify stand by them. Those who filed false cases and harassed the TDP activists will be taken to task once the party is back in power, he added.

TDP govt will be complete all pendi projects, says Lokesh

As the senior TDP leaders of combined Nellore district go emotional since the Yuva Galam entered Prakasam district on Saturday, party general secretary, Nara Lokesh, told them that immediately after the TDP forms the coming government all the pending projects will be completed and he will thus repay their debt of gratitude.

Lokesh resumed his pada yatra on Saturday after a two-day gap and entered Prakasam district after completing his Yuva Galam by evening in Nellore. As the TDP senior leaders like Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, Vemreddy Pattabhiram Reddy, Anam Venkatramana Reddy, and others went emotional while giving a farewell, Lokesh, profusely thanked them and the people of Nellore for honouring him as their family member. “I will repay the debt of my gratitude by completing all the pending projects in the district soon after the TDP is back in power,” Lokesh told them.

As the Yuva Galam entered the Kandukur Assembly segment in Prakasam district, the local leaders, D Janardhan, Gottipati Ravi, Pothula Rama Rao and others gave a grand welcome to Lokesh at the Rallapadu Project area. Party activists and the general public turned out in large numbers to welcome Loeksh to their district.

Earlier when Lokesh resumed his 155th day pada yatra at Kondapuram campsite, the members of Muslim community from Renamala village, the villagers of Marrigunta and Nekunampeta met Lokesh and submitted memorandums in which they raised various kinds of problems. Responding to them, Loeksh said all their issues will be resolved on a war-footing basis once the TDP is into power again.

Roads, drainage and drinking water problems will be addressed within days of assuming power, Lokesh said. All the welfare schemes that are discontinued now will be reintroduced while the Musims will be given top priority, Lokesh stated.

I stepped into Simhapuri like a lion, roars Lokesh

0

Declaring that Yuva Galam is people’s voice, TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday made it clear that he has already completed 2,000 km long journey in his pada yatra despite announcements that even a step will not be allowed to move forward and will not be permitted to meet people.

Addressing a huge gathering at Kondapuram of Udayagiri Assembly segment in the combined Nellore district as part of his pada yatra, Lokesh boldly stated that he entered Simhapuri as a lion and those who claimed that he will not be allowed to enter the area are nowhere near. “I have undertaken pada yatra in 10 Assembly segments in the combined Nellore district and personally met the people to have first hand information on the problems they are facing,” said Lokesh.

Pointing out that the TDP regime has done a lot for the combined Nellore district, including the late NT Rama Rao, who initiated steps to supply irrigation water to eight lakh acres in the district through Somasila and Kandaleru projects, Lokesh said despite all this the voters here have elected only three MLAs from the TDP in 2014. This will not deter the party from taking steps to further develop the district by the coming TDP government, Lokesh declared.

The TDP general secretary called upon the party activists in the district to hoist the party flag in Udayagiri. “I will take responsibility for the future of party leaders and activists. If anyone tries to create problems for you they will have to pay a heavy price as the TDP government will be back in power in a few more months,” Lokesh stated.

Earlier, the villagers of Satyavolu in a memorandum wanted a list irrigation facility from the local tank, Lokesh said that soon after the TDP government is formed all the pending projects will be completed. This government did not take up even the Polavaram project and how the common man can expect these minor projects to be completed, he said.

An advocate from Nandyal, Tatireddy Tulisi Reddy, who was earlier an active leader from the area, joined the TDP in the presence of Lokesh, along with thousands of his followers. Welcoming all of them into the party fold, Lokesh said that the TDP welcomes all those who are ready to join hands for putting an end to this atrocious rule.

Lokesh visited the elementary school in Kommili in the Udayagiri Assembly segment. The TDP general secretary met several students on his way to the school and wished them all success in their studies.

Lokesh’s pada yatra reaches 2000 km milestone

0

TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday evening crossed another milestone of 2000 km of his Yuva Galam pada yatra at Kothapalli in Kavali Assembly segment of combined Nellore district.

“It is really a momentous occasion for me as I have crossed the 2000 km Yuva Galam personally meeting the people all along my pada yatra. I have laid the foundation for setting up of the Fisheries Development Board at Kothapalli which will greatly help the fishermen community and this will remain as a beautiful memory,” Lokesh stated.

TDP Supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, congratulated Lokesh on completing the 2000 km pada yatra. “I am proud to see you championing the youth and lending an ear to the concerns of the people of our State,” Chandrababu tweeted and wished Lokesh good luck for the rest of his journey.

Meanwhile, after performing special poojas at Lord Sri Veera Brahmendra Swamy temple, Lokesh actively took part in the Racha Banda programme with the villagers of Kothapalli. After hearing the problems of the villagers with much attention, Lokesh said Jaganora virus is haunting the State and the only vaccine for this is Chandrababu Naidu.

“I have not only reached the 2000 km milestone but also completed my 150th day pada yatra in Kavali Assembly segment,” Lokesh said. Though the State got bifurcated with a deficit budget, Chandrababu Naidu in his position as the chief minister, ruled the State without passing on this deficit to the common man, he said.

However, in the past four years after Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister, power tariff has been revised nine times, RTC fares three times, the prices of petrol and diesel are the highest in the State and various taxes have been imposed on the people causing heavy financial burden on them, he stated. Expressing concern that the prices of essential commodities are far higher in Jagan Reddy rule, Lokesh said even the welfare schemes have been withdrawn.

“I totally repose faith in the Constitution framed by Dr BR Ambedkar and with the same confidence I am continuing my pada yatra,” Lokesh declared. Observing that Yuva Galam is a platform to voice the problems of the people, Lokesh said that the coming TDP government within months will focus on all the issues that are plaguing the State now.
