Natural Star Nani is currently in Goa shooting for his 30th film which is said to be an emotional entertainer. Shouryuv is making his debut as director and Mrunal Thakur is the leading lady. The makers today announced that this film will have its theatrical release on December 21st, 2023 on the eve of Christmas. Nani’s super hit film MCA released on the same day. Vyra Entertainments are the producers of this interesting film.

Nani’s last film Dasara was a hit at the box-office and it minted huge money in Nizam and USA. The actor’s performance too was appreciated. Nani is lining up new projects this year. He also hiked his fee and he is taking home more than Rs 20 crores per film.

Nani, Sai Pallavi starrer MCA was released on Dec 22nd , 2018. Produced by Dil Raju and DIrected by Venu Sri Ram, the film has collected a gross of $1,081,952 and emerged as the fourth highest grosser in Nani’s career. It fell behind Bhale Bhale Magadivoi($1,430,026), Ninnu Kori ($1,196,559) and Nenu Local($1,079,986).

Coming to the profit loss details, the film has collected a distributor share of $627,877 which comes down to $527,877 ie, 3.35 Crores INR after deducting the expenses like VPF & Publicity. It has fetched another for 50 lakhs from markets outside USA which adds up to the distributor share and takes it to 3.85 Cr. The film was sold for 3.50 cr which means the distributor has ended up with a profit of 0.35 Crores. The film can safely called as a Hit.

Cementing his ‘Bankable Actor’ tag, Natural star Nani has yet again proved that he is a crowd puller in overseas on par with the current generation top league actors. Nani’s latest outing MCA, which released to mixed reports on Dec 21st, has surprisingly had a phenomenal run at the US box office.

As per the latest trade reports, MCA surpassed the $ 1 Million mark in overseas by the end of Saturday. The film, which took a solid opening with $ 300K haul from Wednesday premiers, performed consistently despite other releases and touched the prestigious mark making Nani the only actor in South to have three million dollar films in overseas in a single year.

This can be termed as a rare feat considering that no star hero of the current era, who have the market potential to touch the mark, can manage to have three releases in a single year.

Nani now has five million dollar films in overseas. His previous hits include Eega, Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, Nenu Local and Ninnu Kori.

MCA marching towards $1M , Okka Kshanam posts impressive numbers

After a period of dormancy, Tollywood movies are showing some might at the overseas box office. Last week’s releases MCA and Hello are extending their decent run with moderate figures in the second week and Allu Sirish’s latest release Okka Kshanam has took a surprisingly strong start on its first day.

Nani’s MCA, which dominated last week’s box office, collected 25K on its second Thursday and took the overall total to $ 944K. The film is all set to touch the one million dollar mark by the end of its second weekend. MCA will be third consecutive film and also third film in a single year for Nani to hit the million dollar club.

Akhil’s Hello, which posted impressive figures in its first weekend, is performing consistently in the second weekend and surpassed the $ 800K mark. The film managed to collect on par with MCA on this Thursday and the total stands at $ 833K. Trade analysts predict that it will be touch and go for the million dollar mark.

Allu Sirish’s Okka Kshanam, which released this week, took a promising start on its premiers day with a $ 29K haul. On Friday, the science fiction thriller posted good numbers and took the first day total to $ 79K. This is a very encouraging start and the collections are bound to improve over the weekend.

MCA has collected a worldwide distributor share of over 29.65 Cr which is excellent and highest ever for the hero beating Eega. In comparison with the hero’s other releases this year’s Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori had collected 22.42 cr & 21.86 cr respectively. The film will be surpassing 30cr mark today and that makes third film for the hero to do so after Eega & Nenu Local. Chances are bright for it to go over 35cr mark by the end of it’s run.

Natural star Nani’s latest release MCA, which took a solid opening despite mixed reports, is going great guns at the box office. While the domestic share is nearing 25 Crores, the family entertainer is inching closer towards the one million dollar mark in overseas.

After a $ 700K weekend haul, MCA is extending its consistent run at the overseas box office with decent figures on Monday. The latest trade reports suggest that the film has surpassed the $ 800K by the end of Monday. Trade analysts predict that the film will touch the million dollar mark by the end of its second weekend and Nani is going achieve a rare feat by becoming the only hero to have three million dollar films in overseas in a single year.

Earlier this year, Nani scored two back to back million dollar films with Nenu Local and Ninnu Kori.

After keeping trade circles in a state of dullness for nearly three months, Telugu films have finally made some talking at the overseas box office with the release of MCA and Hello. Both these films, which released in successive days, opened on a promising note with strong numbers from premiers day.

By the end of the first weekend, both films posted impressive figures despite slightly slowing down after the strong start. While MCA zoomed past $ 700K, Akhil’s Hello surpassed the $ 600 K by the end of Sunday.

MCA took off to a terrific start with career best openings for Nani with just over $ 300K from Wednesday premiers. The family entertainer then consistently collected $ 120K, 110K and $ 110K on the next three days. The lack of shows on Sunday night due to Christmas eve has slightly impacted the figures but the film managed to zoom past the $ 700K mark with ease. This is a very good run considering the talk the film garnered after the Wednesday premiers.

Akhil’s Hello also performed on par with the expectations in its opening weekend. The romantic drama, which became Akhil’s career best in overseas with just the premiers day figures ( $ 214K), collected decent numbers on the next three days to take the total past $ 600K by the end of Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, the film notched up $152K and $ 148K and touched the half million mark in style. On Sunday, the film might end up collecting close to $ 100K. It might be touch and go for the film to enter the million dollar club.

Telugu films Hello and MCA, which released this week amid huge expectations, are having a moderate run at the overseas box office after a good start on their premiers day. Both MCA and Hello started their box office journey with career best premiers day figures for both Nani and Akhil. While MCA collected $ 303K from Wednesday premiers, Hello bagged $ 210K from Thursday premiers.

Both films slowed down in the first weekend and managed to collect only moderate figures by the end of Saturday. As per the overseas trade reports, Hello touched the half a million dollar mark with Saturday’s $ 140K haul. This is Akhil’s career best after his debut film lost without a trace at the overseas box office.

On the other side, MCA surpassed the $ 600K mark by the end of Saturday. The family entertainer managed to collect $ 110K( approx) on Saturday. Both these films should have a good run during Christmas holiday to sustain at the overseas box office.

Midas touch producer Dil Raju is well known for his prudent filmmaking tactics and pocketing good profits out of crazy combinations. 2017 has been one of the most successful years for Dil Raju’s production house as he bagged solid profits with all six films that released in the year. His latest film MCA has also turned out to be a huge profitable venture because he used the same money-making strategy like he did for previous films.

A source in the known revealed that Raju made a fortune with MCA. The Nani starrer was made on a budget of 12 Crores. While Nani was paid a remuneration of 5 Crores, Sai Pallavi bagged 50 Lacs. The crazy combination worked very well in producer’s favour and the film was relatively sold for more than double the price ( 27 Crores). Including Satellite, Digital and Audio rights, the film did a stunning 39 Crores business before release.

The production values in MCA are substandard and Devi Sri Prasad,too, disappointed with his tunes. Dil Raju was not keen on roping in a solid technical team. He doesn’t even want to go a crazy director. He is just inclined towards making movies in quick succession and mint as much money as possible in least possible time.

He is now lined up with nearly seven projects for next year all of them have medium-range directors. The reason is he doesn’t want to spend much money on remunerations.

MCA hits half a million in overseas

Keeping with the tag of dependable actor in overseas market, Natural star Nani has once again proved his box office potential with solid openings for his latest offering MCA, which released this Thursday. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film has Sai Pallavi as the female lead.

Despite the mixed talk and average web reviews, MCA is having a strong run in its first weekend. Though it is a weekday release, the family entertainer took a surprisingly solid start with $ 303K from its Wednesday premiers. On Thursday, the film notched up a decent $ 117K and took the total to $420K. According to the fresh trade reports, MCA has zoomed past half a million mark by Friday evening in overseas.

Nani’s last two films touched the prestigious million dollar mark with ease and MCA opened on a better note than those two films. So, it remains to be if Nani can complete a hat-trick of Million Dollar films with MCA.

Nani MCA Day1 Collections

MCA has taken a Bumper opening with a distributor share of over 7.50 Cr. This is biggest ever for Nani by a huge 60% margin over Ninnu Kori which had Collected 4.72 Cr just a few months back . It is also ninth biggest opening of this year behind Paisa Vasool (7.86 Cr). But if we take out of the hires and look at the real opening MCA takes edge over Paisa vasool easily which is a big achievement.

MCA gives career best premiers for Nani in overseas

Natural star Nani is one of the most reliable actors in Tollywood. After delivering two decent hits this year, his latest film MCA released all over today amidst high expectations with strong advance bookings. In overseas, the film took off a sensational start despite releasing on a mid weekday.

The family entertainer, written and directed by Venu Sriram, notched up career best openings for Nani in overseas. The latest trade reports suggest that the film raked in a solid $ 303K on its Wednesday premiers which is nearly double figure than his previous best of $ 160K by Ninnu Kori. This is a solid start considering the weekday release and not-so-popular director who had a little commercial success from his previous films. It remains to be seen if MCA sustains in the first weekend as Akhil’s Hello is set for release tomorrow.

Despite decent performances from the star cast, the hackneyed script and lackluster narration have stifled the film’s success. The first weekend run will decide the fate of the film at the box office.
