Now, YCP calls Amaravati a ‘benami Capital’ of Naidu

Till yesterday, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, his Ministers and his party MPs just levelled allegations of benami land dealings against Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati Capital City. The Government had also filed ‘insider trading’ cases against the TDP leaders. Now, the YCP Ministers were going a step forward by calling the entire Amaravati region as a ‘benami Capital’ of Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh.

YCP MP Nandigam Suresh, who is known for his controversial statements, said that Chandrababu Naidu had looted lands in Amaravati area by threatening the local farmers. The MP blamed Naidu for creating hurdles by going to the court against house site distribution in the Capital area.

Mr. Suresh demanded the TDP chief to explain why his party was obstructing house sites if he was indeed a champion of the poor families. If Chandrababu Naidu really had any love for the poor people, he should order his partymen to withdraw the petitions filed against the house sites.

The MP said that Naidu and Lokesh were cultureless as they were comparing the poor man’s house to the toilets and bathrooms.

YCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Raju has proved unstoppable and inimitable. His comments against both YCP in general and Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh in particular have created a sensation, giving a new challenge to CM Jagan Reddy. Moreover, all Opposition mounted a combined attack on YCP in Delhi amid Parliament session. Left with no alternative, YCP has begun changing its tactics. Now, Nandigam Suresh has launched a personal attack with more serious allegations against rebel Raju.

Suresh is saying that RRR has a very low opinion of the Dalits and that he was acting out of arrogance and jealousy. He said that RRR has threatened to kill him with the help of his security. He has already complained to the concerned authorities in the Parliament against Raju for his threatening statements.

Nandigam Suresh demanded rebel MP to tender an unconditional apology to all Dalits for his unwarranted statements. The war of words has intensified between RRR and the YCP MPs. Especially, the rebel MP has warned the YCP not to cross a limit in their criticism. RRR has in the past cautioned Nandigam Suresh against repeating personal allegations against him. RRR has told CM Jagan that his party’s efforts to disqualify his MP status would not succeed. At the most, Jagan may dismiss him from the party for which rebel Raju was already prepared as it would make no difference for his future political or electoral prospects.

YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Raju created a political sensation in Delhi by giving a privilege notice against his own party MP in Lok Sabha today. He submitted his notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla seeking action against YCP Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh. RRR submitted a copy of the video of the press confrence in which Nandigam Suresh has allegedly made objectional personal allegations against the rebel MP.

The AP politics reached a feverish pitch in Delhi during the ongoing session of Parliament for a variety of reasons. It has become a big challenge for both the YSRCP and its rival party leaders. Especially for CM Jaganmohan Reddy, it is posing greater challenges because of multiple controversies on Supreme Court hearings on speedy trials in MLAs and MPs cases, temple incidents and also hurdles for Amaravati Capital shifting.

Amid this head-on clash between different parties, RRR has got into a serious fight with the YSRCP on the issue of Amaravati and attacks on temples. This has irked the ruling party MPs greatly. Vijayasai Reddy and YCP Ministers have made lots of allegations against RRR but he did not make any big complaint against them. But now, Nandigam Suresh has allegedly made very personal level unparliamentary remarks that led to RRR taking the issue to the notice of the Lok Sabha.

Analysts say that the mutual mud-slinging between different parties in the Parliament have pushed real issues of the people of AP aside.

Nandigam Suresh followers attack TDP activist

The followers of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MP Nandigam Suresh on attacked TDP an activist in Krishna district.

The incident took place on Monday evening when a TDP delegation lead by party’s spokesperson K Pattabhiram had gone to Kondapalli to take stock of illegal mining activities in the reserve forest. After their return from Kondapalli, the TDP delegation stayed at a hotel in Vijayawada.

Incidentally, YSRCP MP Nandigam Suresh and his followers also stopped at the same hotel. On seeing Sajja Ajay, who was part of the TDP delegation, the YSRCP party leaders and activists engaged in a heated argument for making adverse comments against the ruling party. Some YSRCP activists assaulted the TDP activist.

Three YSRCP activists were arrested for assaulting the TDP activist. Cases were booked under Sections 341, 323 of IPC. Meanwhile, TDP president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu condemned the incident stating that the YSRCP leaders were misusing power and unleashing attacks on all those opposing its corrupt practices. . “The TDP leaders’ were checking facts on illegal mining being carried out by the YSRCP leaders in Kondapalli reserve forest.
