Modi’s shocker to KCR: No PM’s appointment

0

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao got a shocker in New Delhi on Tuesday after the Prime Minister’s Office has refused to give appointment to KCR to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

With this, KCR was forced to return Hyderabad from New Delhi late on Tuesday without meeting Modi.

It may be recalled that KCR went to Delhi on Monday to meet Modi to pursue the issue of setting up of an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Hyderabad besides other pending bifurcation-related issues concerning Telangana.

Official sources said the PMO did not confirm Modi’s appointment to CM on Tuesday citing PM’s busy schedule on account of ongoing winter session of Parliament and Jharkhand Assembly polls.

Modi on Tuesday kickstarted his campaign for Jharkhand Assembly polls by addressing public meetings.

PMO reportedly told CMO officials that it would not be possible for Modi to meet KCR till the parliament session ends on December 13.

Though KCR expressed willingness to stay in Delhi till Wednesday if he gets PM’s appointment, there was no positive response from the PMO.

With this, KCR returned to Hyderabad without meeting the PM.

The CM is expected to visit Delhi again after the parliament session to meet Modi.

TRS sources said that KCR has to attend few weddings of kith and kin of TRS leaders close to him in Hyderabad on Wednesday due to which he has decided to return to city on Tuesday.

This development triggered speculations that BJP central leadership is avoiding KCR under pressure from Telangana BJP leaders.

BJP is trying to emerger as alternative to TRS by 2023 Assembly polls.

Modi and Amit Shah have laid special focus to weaken TRS in Telangana by then and grab power in the state.

No progress if mother tongue is neglected: PM Modi

0

Is the BJP making an all-round non-stop attack on the Jagan Reddy Circar in AP? The answer may be yes going by the anti-YCP decisions taken by Modi Regime in the last one week. First, PM Modi specially greeted YCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju in Parliament premises. He did that just a day after CM Jagan imposed restrictions on YCP MPs movements in Delhi. Later, the Centre updated the Political Map of India recognising Amaravati as AP Capital City much to YCP embarrassment.

Now, Modi’s Man Ki Bath speech dwelt at length on the importance of Mother Tongue for any people and state. Modi asserted that nobody can achieve progress or development without full command in Mother Tongue. Any amount of development would be a mere waste if Mother Tongue is neglected.

Modi highlighted specifically why the United Nations Organisation announced 2019 as the year of indigenous languages. Modi heaped praise on the people of Tharchoor in Uttar Pradesh for their hard efforts to protect their Mother Tongue. PM’s comments came like pointed at AP Circar which has introduced English Medium in place of Telugu in government schools. The TDP also raised the issue in Lok Sabha and wanted the Centre to protect Telugu in AP.

Modi greets YCP MP to mock at Jagan restrictions

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stunned everybody by calling and greeting YCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju in the Parliament hall. Modi called Raju by his name and asked whether everything is fine. Obviously overjoyed, Raju went nearer and touched Modi to take his blessings. All this happened in front of the other YCP MPs like Adala Prabhakar Reddy, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, etc. They are visibly shaken as Modi didn’t even look towards them. They are stunned at the way Raghurama Raju used the crisis in YCP to become close to Modi in his first term itself as MP.

The incident took place just two days after CM Jaganmohan Reddy imposed restrictions asking his MPs not meet or greet Modi and Union Ministers during the Parliament session. Raghurama has gone against Jagan orders and he is openly supporting the cause of Telugu medium in government schools. There are also reports that some YCP MPs are becoming friendly to the BJP in Delhi. Not only that, other YCP MPs are unhappy over the high handed behaviour of Vijayasai Reddy.

Political circles in Delhi are interpreting the incident as a clear indication of Modi’s constant watch on AP situation and also his increasingly tougher stance against Jagan draconian policies.

Opponents target Modi and PMO on Electoral bond scam

0

One of the national media house, though RTI, revealed that Modi and BJP party ordered illegal electoral bond sale before the elections to some of the states. As soon as the news broke, opposition parties started targeting Modi and PMO office. If these allegations proved, it might cause major embarrassment to the government led by Modi as PM has been speaking sternly against Black money and money laundering. Details as below.

What are these electoral bonds?

Funds to political parties has been a topic of debate in the country. Modi’s government has proposed some reforms in this area. Issuing of Electoral Bonds is one such reform. These bonds will be like bearer bonds or promissory notes. One can go to the specified bank and buy the bonds of any political party issuing the bonds. The political party will encash this amount into an account that is registered with the Election commission.

Pros and Cons of electoral bonds:

One pro is that funds being collected by the political parties are accounted money or clean money. However, there are many cons. There is no obligation on the part of the donor (individual or corporate) or the political party to reveal from where the donations come from. This will go against transparency, the basic motto behind the electoral bonds. Coupled with the removal of the cap on foreign funding, electoral bonds invite foreign corporate powers to impact Indian politics. This may have serious consequences on Indian democracy.

What is current political controversy regarding these bonds on Modi’s government:

Just before the elections to some of the key states like Karnataka, Chattisgarh, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, etc, PMO directed the finance ministry to break its own rules to approve the unscheduled and illegal sale of electoral bonds for state assembly elections on two separate occasions. Also, it is revealed that BJP garnered 95% of all political donations made through this particular funding channel. PMO opened an extra window of sale before the elections, bypassing the rules.

Opposition comments:

Jairam Ramesh tweeted, ‘It shows Modi PMO opened illegal windows of sale of Electoral Bonds, before critical state polls for BJP. This is unprecedented! PMO directing murky political donations. Na khaunga, na khane doonga? Kya hua tera vaada?”. Many analysts also pointed out that the governing party has used secretive electoral bonds to hold onto power in the world’s largest democracy.

It is expected that the issue of the electoral bonds will create turmoil in current parliament sessions.

Save AP Please! Opposition begging for Modi intervention

1

The AP voters gave ‘One Chance’ to Jaganmohan Reddy believing he would give them an even better rule than YSR with his multi-crore ‘Navaratnalu’ welfare programmes. The scene reversed afterwards. Huge projects are closed. Economic activity is paralyzed. Daily wage and construction workers lost work. Migration and suicides started. Then there’s GO 2430 which is being used to ban the media from writing about the sufferings of people because of the government’s bankrupt policies.

Now, the Andhra voters cannot take back the One Chance they gave. The Opposition TDP and Jana Sena are not able to fight back YCP atrocities effectively. The only alternative left is for the Opposition parties to wait for the BJP government to interfere and prevent further destruction. Pawan Kalyan has already pleaded for Modi-Shah surgical strike on AP to save poor Andhra workers from further starvation and suicides. Now, TDP MP Galla Jayadev made a similar plea on the floor of the Parliament itself. Undoubtedly, the BJP will be to blame for any bigger humanitarian crisis that may occur in Andhra if it doesn’t interfere now. Everybody knows the BJP gave total support to bring Jagan Reddy to power. It has to set things right. Indeed, Modi-Shah cannot wait any longer on the Save AP issue.

Upasana questions Modi’s North bias

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted an interactive meet at his official residence in Delhi with film fraternity to discuss initiatives to mark the 150 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The who’s who of Bollywood have attended this event and Modi urged the film industry to channelise it’s energy and come up with initiatives to motivate ordinary citizens. He also promised that his government will extend full support to film industry for its overall development.

Surprisingly, no iconic personality from South was invited to this event which is regarded as a meet of Indian film and entertainment industry. South cinema has been making significant and immense contribution to entertainment industry of the country. However, stalwarts from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam were thoroughly neglected in national initiatives like this.

Calling out Modi’s North bias, actor Ram Charan’s wife Upasana has came up with a heartfelt post in her Instagram page. She wrote ‘ Dearest Narendra Modi ji. We in South of India admire you and proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all due respect, we felt that the representation of leading personalities and cultural icons was limited only to Hindi artists and the South film industry was neglected. I express my feelings with pain and hope it is taken in the right spirit ‘.

Upasana’s emotional appeal to Prime Minister has garnered unanimous support from all her followers and this message is now going viral in social media.

Megastar Chiranjeevi to meet Modi!

0

Megastar Chiranjeevi is on a mission to show his dream movie ‘Sye Raa’ to all the top leaders in India. He is also planning to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to request him to watch ‘Sye Raa’ at his convenient time. Chiranjeevi has sought the appointment of Prime Minister and is awaiting the reply from PMO. Modi earlier watched Prabhas’s ‘Baahubali’ and appreciated it.

‘Sye Raa’ is a dream project for Chiranjeevi. Having won critical acclaim, Chiranjeevi believes that this is one of the finest performances in his long career. Made on a whopping Rs 225 Cr budget, ‘Sye Raa’ is also dubbed in Hindi. He will request PM Modi to watch the Hindi version.

Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu has already agreed to watch the period drama next week. Chiranjeevi is also meeting AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to request him to watch the film with him in Vijayawada.

‘Sye Raa’ is based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who is believed to be the first freedom warrior in India. He rebelled against the British.

Is Naidu mending fences with Modi?

0

For the first time after general election, AP Ex CM Chandrababu Naidu began talking positively about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Naidu is now saying that he never has any personal differences with Modi. If the TDP fought with the BJP, it was only for the rights of Andhra. TDP boss’s statement is creating lot of political curiosity on the future coming together of BJP and TDP leaders against Jagan Circar.

It was a fact that Naidu made an all out attack on Modi during the height of 2019 election. At one point of time, Naidu stood in the front rows and threatened to expose the nexus between Election Commission of India and the BJP and its friendly parties. Naidu also challenged the authenticity of EVMs and demanded the return to traditional ballot system. It embarrassed Modi.

Now, Naidu is obviously making a tactical retreat with regard to this stand towards BJP. By not supporting Congress in Huzurnagar, he has already set the record straight. In the coming days, the TDP is feeling the necessity to take along with it the BJP AP leaders in order to check Jagan’s suppressive rule. Interestingly, CM Jagan is not longer having that previous good relations with Modi and Shah going by absence of any Central support to his Navaratnalu.

Tamil Thambis trending Go Back Modi in social media

1

The whole nation is looking towards Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu. One of the most prestigious meetings is set to happen between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. One might think, why Mamallapuram was chosen for the venue of such a high level meeting. The reason dates back to 100s of years. From the days of Pallava regime, Mamallapuram has always prevailed to be a common point in the history of India as well as China.

The historic meet to happen between Indian PM and Chinese President doesn’t have any particular agenda. The meeting is set to have discussions of mutual development between two nations, threats due to terrorism and issues on Indo China border. Modi not coming to inaugurate YSR Rythu Bharosa?

0

BJP AP President Kanna Laxminarayana is taking strong objection to the use of YSR name for the Rythu Bharosa welfare programme. How can Jagan use his father’s name when he is using half the funds from the Centre’s assistance? Kanna says that the Modi government is giving Rs. 6,000 under Kisan Yojana but this is being included in the YSR Rythu Bharosa. Jagan is trying to claim the credit for the funds given by the Centre.

Kanna has met BJP National Working President JP Nadda and submitted these details. Following this, PM Modi’s was informed about this prior to Jagan’s visit. This is why PM has not given any commitment to come and inaugurate Rythu Bharosa as per Jagan invitation. BJP leaders say that it’s almost certain that Modi will not visit AP.

This is going to be a big embarrassment for CM Jaganmohan Reddy who has said several times in the past that Modi would grace the function. YSR Rythu Bharosa is the most important among Navaratnalu promises. Jagan is allocating nearly Rs. 6000 Cr for Rythu Bharosa alone.

KCR’s 21 wishes before Modi – Jagan only one?

0

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has submitted a long list of over 21 wishes before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His wishes included setting up of national level institutions like IIM and also increase in number of High Court judges from 24 to 42. KCR’s commitment to Telangana is clear from how he is bringing pressure on the Centre for its projects. Now, curiosity is rising whether Andhra Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be able to make similar demands before Modi.

CM Jagan is meeting the PM amidst rising concerns among the YCP leaders about their CM’s illegal assets cases in the CBI court. Adding to this, the BJP AP leaders are hell bent on hurting Jagan where it hurts the most. Senior BJP AP leaders including state unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana rushed to Delhi and submitted reports to party national working president JP Nadda on Jagan’s misdeeds, misrule and his vicious police rajyam.

Moreover, in the past four months of his rule, Jagan has only focused on demolitions and not bothered to come out with new ideas for Andhra development. Now, for various reasons, BJP state and national leaders are very angry against his overall policies. These factors give rise to doubts whether Jagan could be able to submit before Modi so many wishes like KCR. There is also an immediate need for getting relief from CBI’s hostile stance on the issue of personal appearances before CBI court.

Hidden agenda? Jagan Delhi tour to meet Modi

Telugu Chief Ministers are suddenly chanting the Modi mantra these days. AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is going to meet PM Modi on Saturday amid speculation over his hidden agenda. Outwardly, it appears that Jagan may be inviting PM to inaugurate his Government’s YSR Rythu Bharosa and also raise the issue of financial support required for crisis-hit Andhra. But YCP boss has other personal issues like the CBI counter asking the court not to grant exemption to Jagan from personal court appearances.

Actually, AP Government Special Representative in Delhi Vijayasai Reddy deals with such issues. These days, Vijayasai is not being given free entry into PMO or Amit Shah Office due to changed equations. The Centre has been angry over Jagan’s reverse decisions on PPAs, Polavaram re-tendering and misuse of police machinery. Jagan is also expected to explain to Modi on these issues.

BJP AP leaders are against Modi visit to inaugurate Rythu Bharosa. They say that the Centre is giving Rs 6000 to each farmer but Jagan is trying to project it as a part of YSR Rythu Bharosa.

KCR’s first meeting with PM in second term likely on Friday

0

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday, their first meeting since they won second term in the state and at the Centre, respectively.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, will leave for the national capital on Thursday and meet the Prime Minister the next day, said officials on Tuesday.

This will be KCR’s first meeting with Modi since Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) retained power at the Centre in May.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief, who had mooted the idea of Federal Front as an alternative to both BJP and Congress at the time of elections, has been avoiding Modi ever since the latter became Prime Minister for the second term. He stayed away from couple of meetings of Chief Ministers called by the Centre, including the one on the Maoist problem.

KCR, who had cordial relations with Modi during his first term, had targeted him during Lok Sabha polls in March and also earlier during the campaign for Assembly elections in December last year.

The coldness in the relations was visible after BJP-led NDA retained power at the Centre and the BJP made huge inroads in Telangana by winning four Lok Sabha seats. Since then, the BJP has gone aggressive in projecting itself as the alternative to the TRS.

KCR had said in June that he will maintain constitutional relations with the Modi government. He also made it clear that he is still stuck to his plans for Federal Front.

The TRS chief had also defended his decision not to invite Modi for the inauguration of Kaleswaharam, a mega irrigation project across Godavari river. “Do we have to invite him for everything,” asked KCR while slamming the Centre for not giving a single rupee for the prestigious project.

Speaking in the Assembly last month, the Chief Minister criticized Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for making disparaging remarks about Telangana in the past.

Modi reverse revenge against Jagan PPA reviews

0

The Modi government at the Centre has started giving shock treatment to Jagan Regime in AP for its negative, reverse policies on power purchase agreements (PPAs). Jagan has gone ahead with cancellation of solar PPAs despite appeals from Union Ministers and Secretaries. Consequently, an angry Centre waited for its turn and it brought pressure on power generating companies not to sell power to Andhra Pradesh. This has eventually led to a steep power crisis which has not been seen for over five years under Chandrababu regime. Despite teething troubles in new state, Naidu could ensure uninterrupted power.

Quite alarmingly, CM Jagan is not able to manage and provide relief to the people from severe power cuts. He, his ministers and officers could not take prior steps to overcome coal shortage. KCR is his best elder brother but Jagan could not get additional supplies from coal-rich Telangana when Andhra needed the most.

Power generation has come down by nearly 2,000 MW in the state. Over 5,000 MW was generated on Sept 29 last year but this year it is just 3,000 MW the same day. Analysts ask Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy to stop blaming TDP for even power crisis. Instead, he should begin solving the problem as YCP is in power. Meanwhile, Nara Lokesh has rephrased ‘Ravali Jagan, Kavali Jagan’ as ‘Ravali Sand, Kavali Current’.

Modi honoured with Bill Gates Foundation award

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a rare honour. He was given the ‘Global Goal Keeper’ award by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This was for Modi’s exemplary leadership in leading India in the Swaccha Bharat sanitation awareness programme. Modi received the award from the hands of Microsoft Founder Bill Gates at a function in New York.

In his acceptance speech, Modi said that the honour would go to all Indian citizens who actively took part and made it a big success. The Prime Minister expressed special thanks to the women for their cooperation in this historic cleanliness movement. In the last 5 years, 11 Cr individual toilets were constructed all over India as part of Swaccha Bharat.

Modi said that the award was personally prestigious for him as he got this honour in the 150th birthday celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi. He asserted that greater efforts would be made in future to build and shape India that Gandhiji dreamt of.

Modi’s masterful use of ‘Howdy Modi’ to give message on Article 370, attack Pak on terror

0

It was a masterful stroke in strategic thinking – getting a 50,000-strong crowd of roaring and cheering Indian-Americans to stand up and back the Indian Parliaments move to revoke special status for Kashmir, and again getting them to give a standing ovation to US President Donald Trump for his “strong determination” to fight terrorism, in a thinly veiled reference to Pakistan.

With one fell swoop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only brought live to the US audience, comprising not just President Trump but also a large gathering of elected US officials, including Governors, Senators and Representatives, from both the Democrats and Republicans, the strong backing that Article 370’s revocation enjoys among mainstream India and he enumerated the developmental reasons for his government’s move, he also effectively targeted Islamabad over terrorism and its obsessive focus on Kashmir.

Modi, a master orator, also spoke of “Abki bar Trump Sarkar” – pausing strategically after saying that to drive home its meaning, thereby giving Indian-Americans, not just at the ‘Howdy Modi’ event but across the US, the message to back President Trump for re-election. Indian-Americans number nearly four million, and President Trump is keen to get their votes.

In his first speech at the event on Sunday in English while welcoming President Trump on the stage, Modi highlighted the close friendship between the two leaders and the countries. He was effusive in his praise for “my friend, a friend of India, a great American President Mr Donald Trump” and of how his presence at ‘Howdy Modi’ was “extraordinary and unprecedented”.

Trump replied in kind, describing Modi as “America’s greatest, most devoted, and loyal friend”, and backed his administration, saying the Prime Minister “is doing a truly excellent job in India and for all of the Indian people”.

Trump, who is keen to “Make America Great Again” and is pushing for job creation and business, also mentioned the MoU between India’s Petronet LNG and US liquefied natural gas (LNG) developer Tellurian Inc inked a day ago – one of the largest foreign investments in the US for shipping shale gas abroad. Petronet is to spend $2.5 billion for an 18 per cent equity stake in the $28 billion Driftwood LNG terminal, and negotiate the purchase of 5 million tonnes of gas per annum.

Taking the stage after Trump, this time to speak in Hindi for which the US dignitaries had their earphones on for the simultaneous translation, Modi was careful to enunciate clearly the many developmental moves of his government, and gave the million/billion equivalent of the Indian monetary figures.

He elaborated on “fast-paced vikas” or development, and how his government had bid “farewell” to many factors detrimental to growth and development, like corruption, fake companies etc,

He said his government was building a transparent ecosystem so that the benefits of development reaches every Indian. “And if any Indian is kept away from development it is not agreeable,” he said, before going to his government’s move on Kashmir.

“For 70 years a big challenge that India faced has been given farewell to,” and then asked the audience, “you know what I am referring to” – to loud cheers.

“Article 370 was another big challenge that was given farewell to. It kept people away from the benefits of development, and from equality, and it was being used by separatists and terrorists. The Constitution that is for the rest of India is now also for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. All the discrimination that women, children and Dalits were facing, has been ended,” he said to loud cheering, and “Modi, Modi” chants going up.

Modi said the legislation was passed with a two-thirds majority in both Houses of Parliament, including the Upper House where his government did not have majority, and the proceedings were also telecast.

He then asked the audience to give a standing ovation to the Indian Parliament for its move, and the 50,000 crowd stood up as one, applauding, as Trump and the American Congressmen watched.

This move clearly brought home to the US, with the event being telecast live, the message of the wide approval that abrogation of Article 370 enjoys among Indians.

A day ago, Modi had met a cross section of people, including Kashmiri Pandits, who were emotional in their support for revoking special status for Kashmir. He had also met Dawoodi Bohra Muslims and Sikhs. This helped highlight to the US of the support the Prime Minister enjoys among people of different faith. It also came as separatist Sikhs and Pakistanis were holding a big demonstration in Houston against Modi.

Modi then attacked Pakistan, without naming it, against Islamabad’s persistent attacks over Kashmir and its move to internationalise what India says is an entirely internal issue.

“What India has done (revocation of Article 370), there are some people who have trouble over it; they are themselves unable to even take care of their own country.

“They have made hatred towards India the centre piece of their governance. They want ashanti (disturbance). ‘Woh atank ko paltey hain, postey hain’ (they are the breeding ground of terror), the whole world knows them, from 9/11 in the US or the Mumbai 2008 attacks.”

Modi then called for a definitive fight against terrorism.

“The time has come for a definitive fight against terrorism. I want to state with emphasis that President Trump is with us strongly in this fight against terrorism, and he has shown his determination to fight against terrorism,” he said and asked the audience to stand up and give a standing ovation to President Trump for his stand against terror. The entire audience stood up and cheered.

There could be no stronger message against Pakistan, its harbouring of terror, and its obsessive focus on Kashmir, to the watching US audience, and also of the Modi government’s resolve to develop Kashmir like the rest of India.

At the end of the event, the two leaders clasped hands, and walked around the stadium in a kind of victory lap, waving to the cheering crowd, their hands clasped throughout. The messaging was clear again, of the strong friendship between the US and India, and between the two leaders, with both focused on making their countries great.

PM Modi urges diaspora to help boost tourism

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Indian Americans to help boost tourism in India by bringing at least five non Indian families to India.

“Can you do a small work for me, can I depend on you?” he said during a community reception by the Texas India Foundation, that had organised the massive ‘Howdy Modi’ event earlier.

“I am asking Indians to make a promise to bring at least five non-Indian families to India,” to which the audience clapped.

Praising the Indian American community, the PM said they have set the foundation for a bright future for India-US ties.

The PM unveiled the plaque of the groundbreaking ceremony for the Eternal Gandhi Museum, inauguration of the Gujarati Samaj of Houston Event Centre and for a Siddhi Vinayak temple.

“The Eternal Gandhi museum will be a prized cultural landmark in Houston. I have been associated with this effort for a while. It will surely make Gandhi Ji’s thoughts popular among the youth,” he said.

Modi-Trump meet highlights Pakistan terror links

0

The NRIs from all over USA gave a rousing reception to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Texas state in US. The ‘Howdy Modi’ meet at Houston turned out to be a grand success. Modi expressed his total satisfaction at the huge turnout and addressed the crowd with his message ‘Anta Bagundi’ (Telugu for All is Well) in all Indian languages. Modi’s speech delved into future progress of India and also how he plans to counter Pakistan. He emphatically said that India’s new friendship with America would go a long way in rooting out terrorism.

In his speech, US President Donald Trump asserted that his country would closely with India to counter terrorism which is a major threat to world countries now. Modi, in his detailed speech, spoke of India’s current determination to protect it’s safety and security. The chronic problem of Article 370 and Kashmir issue were not solved by previous Congress government for seven decades but they were solved in no time now.

Modi also won over Trump by saying that the American President is very popular leader all across the world. Wherever 10 persons discuss things, mention of Trump will be there. Modi wished that Trump would win a second term again.

KCR uses sentiment to target Modi and Shah

1

The BJP has further intensified its efforts to give nightmares to the TRS Government in Telangana. Moreover, the Centre is not giving additional funds asked by the TRS government. Amid this, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao made shocking comments against the BJP on the floor of the Assembly. He said that PM Modi is still needlessly talking about how mother-like Andhra was killed in order to save the child which is Telangana. The CM said that Amit Shah is also making comments insulting their state.

Has KCR again begun using Telangana sentiment out of frustration over BJP onslaught? Interestingly, KCR is posing questions as to who is responsible for rising poverty and unemployment levels in the country. He is comparing India to China and Japan to highlight lack of development under BJP Rule. KCR said that he requested for a separate BC Ministry at the national level but the BJP is not taking action.

Recently, the Centre cut down corporate taxes which will now lead to reduced Central funds to the states. KCR told the Assembly that this kind of Centre he had not seen before. Telangana self-respect could be preserved only with the regional parties but not a national party. He commented that a negative government like Modi Regime was never there before in the history of India.
