Jagan imposing Rs 5,500 cr burden as power charges on people, says Pattabhi

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is imposing an annual burden of Rs 5,500 cr on the people of the State as power charges from this April, observed TDP spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Tuesday.

Pattabhiram told media persons here that in the 2021-22 financial year, a highly corrupt Jagan has laid a burden of Rs 3,082 cr on the people to overcome the losses that he incurred through power purchase.

As if this is not enough, he has issued a gazette notification through the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) to amend the existing legislation to impose an additional financial burden of another Rs 2412 cr on the common man, Pattabhiram noted.

This means that the Chief Minister is thursting a total burden of Rs 5,500 cr, i.e Rs 460 cr per month, from this month itself on the people of the State in this fiscal, Pattabhiram said. It is highly regrettable that Jagan is purchasing power at high prices, accepting huge commissions, but imposing this burden on the common man, the TDP national spokesperson maintained.

Explaining in detail, Pattabhiram said that as per the Fuel Power Purchase and Cost Adjustment the burden per unit is 50 paise while as per the amendment to APERC Act another 40 paise burden per unit which means a total of 90 paise per unit on the consumer.

“This is the reason people are treating Jagan as a burden on them but not as a trustworthy Chief Minister as is being claimed by the ruling party leaders,” Pattabhiram remarked.

Jagan who took the people for a ride before 2019 elections by making false promises to them is again trying to make similar efforts now to gain political benefits, Pattabhiram commented. Should the people who are seriously affected with such a huge financial burden need to paste the Chief Minister’s stickers on their doors, he asked.

Pattabhi complaints to NHRC on Gannavaram incident

0

TDP official spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in New Delhi with regard to the recent incident that took place in Gannavaram.

The ruling YSRCP ruffians not only attacked the local TDP office but also he was taken into custody after which he was subjected to severe mental and physical torture, Pattabhi mentioned in his complaint to the NHRC. Accompanied by his family members, Pattabhi met the member of the NHRC, Rajiv Jain, and personally handed over the complaint to him.

He mentioned in the complaint that the police, under the directions from the Krishna District Superintendent of Police (SP), Jashuva, arrested him and even snatched the hand phone from him. “I was taken around the Gudivada town by a vehicle, even in some deserted areas, for hours together. Later, under the directions from the SP I was shifted to the Thotlavalluru police station, he said.

Pattbhi wrote in the complaint that in the police station power supply was disconnected and the staff members were sent outside only to beat him and torture him physically for over 40 minutes by three persons who were wearing masks. “Though I was taken into custody on 20th, till 21st evening my family members were not informed of my arrest,” Pttabhi pointed out in the complaint.

Stating that his appeal for medical tests, including MRI scan, were not permitted, Pattabhi mentioned in the complaint that his wife too was kept under house arrest. Without allowing his wife to move out of his house, the police subjected her to mental torture, he said and added that till now attacks took place four times on his house and on him personally.

Pattabhi explained to the NHRC member on the attacks on various leaders of the Opposition parties in the past four years and the illegal arrests of some leaders from these parties. “Rajiv Jain, who patiently heard my appeal, promised immediate necessary action on my complaint,” Pattabhi later informed the media.

Pattabhiram made a fervent appeal to the NHRC to conduct an inquiry and take proper action against the police officials concerned for subjecting him to mental and physical torture violating the human rights. Rajiv Jain asked his staff members to immediately register a complaint, Pattabhi said.

Jagan is king of corruption, master in passing the buck, says Pattabhi

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan, has amassed Rs 2 lakh crore in the past four years while minted Rs 43,000 cr when his father, late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was in power in the combined State, said TDP spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Tuesday.

Pattabhiram told media persons at the party headquarters that Jagan Mohan Reddy is also a master in blaming others for the sins that he commits. The latest example was that Jagan Reddy is making every effort to pass the buck with regard to the Skill Development project.

”During Chandrababu Naidu regime over 2.11 people have been given training through the Skill Development project of whom 64,000 persons got employment,” Pattabhi pointed out.

The CBI too clearly mentioned in the chargesheet how Jagan indulged in money laundering through these shell companies, he said. If the allegations of corruption are correct why the Jagan Government asked not to go for physical verification in the colleges, he asked.

The close links to Jagan Reddy in the Delhi liquor scam clearly indicate that the corrupt practices of the Chief Minister have spread to other States too, Pattabhi said. He felt that the allegations of corruption in the Skill Development project during the TDP regime are with regard to some companies which are not paying the taxes now and this Government is attributing it to the TDP and the party supremo, Chandrababu Naidu.

Maintaining that the Skill Development project will be revived once the TDP forms the government again, Pattabhiram said that Chandrababu and Lokesh will show how the real job calendar will be. The jobless youth will certainly be provided employment and they will be given perfect training, Pattabhi added.

Pattabhiram, others get conditional bail

1

The SC, ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act special court on Friday granted bail for TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram and 13 others in the Gannavaram case. The special court judge directed Pattabhi and others to personally visit the Gannavaram police station every Thursday and sign the register for next three months.

Pattabhiram’s counsel, Posani Venkateswarlu, argued for the TDP leaders and others in the case. The Gannavaram police have booked cases against Pattabiram and others under SC, ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 for alleged assault on Circle Inspector Kanaka Rao in Gannavaram.

Pattabhiram and others are currently serving the remand period in the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail.

Pattabhiram visited Gannavaram two weeks ago where he challenged local TDP dissident MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan. The MLA and his men attacked the TDP office where Pattabhiram was addressing the media.

The TDP office was attacked, and a vehicle parked outside was set on fire by the MLA’s supporters. However, in the melee, Pattabhiram is said to have assaulted the CI causing bleeding injuries to him.

The police booked cases against Pattabhiram and shifted him to Gudlavalleru police station in Krishna district on the same day. However, on the next day, he was produced in the Gannavaram court. When he complained that the police had beaten him, the magistrate ordered a medical examination.

Pattabhiram was taken to the government general hospital in Vijayawada for medical tests. It was proved that he had no injuries. He was then sent to the Gannavaram jail from where he was sent to the Rajamahendravaram Central jail.

Pattabhi shifted to Gannavaram sub-jail

1

The Krishna district police have shifted TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, to the Gannavaram sub-jail, following the directions from the additional metropolitan magistrate on Wednesday.

Pattabhiram, who was arrested after the YSR Congress attack on the TDP office in Gannavaram on Monday was produced in the court on Tuesday. The police registered a case of SC, ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1089 for allegedly causing injuries to sub-inspector Kanaka Rao.

The police also alleged that Pattabhi had made provocative statements that had triggered the clash between the YSR Congress and TDP activists. The YSR Congress activists have destroyed the furniture in the TDP office and set a car on fire.

When the police produced him the court on Tuesday, Pattabhi alleged that three unidentified persons have third degree torture on him in the Gudlavalleru police station of Krishna district. He said that three people covered up their faces while beating him. His face was also covered and he was dragged on the floor from one room to the other room in the police station, Pattabhi told the magistrate.

Following this complaint, the magistrate had directed the police to get all tests done for Pattabhi in the government hospital. The police have taken him to the Government General Hospital in Vijayawada for tests. They have finally submitted the report to the magistrate on Wednesday.

When the magistrate asked the police to take Pattabhi to the Gannavaram sub-jail, the police said that he should be kept in a better jail. The police later filed a separate petition before the magistrate stating that facilities at the Gannavaram sub-jail were not sufficient to keep Pattabhi there.

However, the magistrate had not taken a decision yet and Pattabhi was finally sent to the sub-jail.

Pattabhi says he was beaten up by three men

1

TDP spokesman Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Tuesday told the judge at Gannavaram in Krishna district, that he was beaten up by three unidentified men in the Thotlavalluru police station. He said that they covered their faces and beat him up for half-an-hour.

Pattabhi, along with 10 others was arrested by the Gannavaram police following a complaint by local inspector Kanaka Rao, who received bleeding injuries in a group clash. The Inspector, in his complaint, said that Pattabhi had made provocative statements which led to the group clash.

Pattabhi was taken to the Thotlavalluru police station on Monday evening. He told the additional junior civil judge that there were no lights in the police station. He was directly taken to a dark room, where three persons covering up their faces had beaten him.

He tried to show his swelling hands in support of his allegation. He also told the judge and his advocate that the police have used third degree treatment on him in the police station.

Meanwhile, his wife, Chandana, expressed fear over the safety of her husband. She alleged that police might drug him now in their custody which will have health issues at a later stage. “The police can do anything to harm my husband,” she alleged.

The TDP leaders also expressed doubts over the safety of Pattabhi. They feared that the police might eliminate the party leader, who has been outspoken and exposing the criminal politics of the ruling party and failures of the YSR Congress government.

Party leader, Kesineni Chinna, accused the government and the police of targeting Pattabhi for his criticism of the government. The TDP leaders said that the government would be held responsible for the safety of Pattabhi and other TDP workers who were arrested on Monday.

TDP leader Pattabhi, others produced in court

0

The Krishna district police on Tuesday produced TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, and other TDP leaders at the local court in Gannavaram. Pattabhiram and others were taken into custody at Gannavaram during a clash between the TDP and YSR Congress leaders on Monday.

The TDP office was damaged and a car parked at the TDP office was also set on fire in the clash. The police shifted Pattabhiram to Thotlavalluru police station, while others were shifted to Machilipatnam police station after the arrest.

Krishna district SP Joshua told media persons that they have booked cases against the leaders of two parties who clashed at the TDP office in Gannavaram on Monday. The SP said that they were looking into the CCTV footage and other video clips of the incidents.

The SP also alleged that TDP leader Pattabhiram made provocative statements which led to the clash between the two groups.

Meanwhile, Pattabhiram’s wife, Chandana, accused the police of kidnapping her husband. She also alleged that the police have tortured her husband in the police station at the behest of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and DGP K V Rajendranadh Reddy.

When police visited her house and told her that her husband was arrested and being produced in the court, Chandana expressed fears over the safety of her husband. She tried to go to the DGP office to hold a protest, which was stopped by the police. The police restricted her movements and are guarding her from moving out.

TDP leaders Kesineni Chinna, Ravi Venkateswara Rao and other leaders reached Gannavaram, when Pattabhiram and others were produced in the local court. The TDP leaders called for Challo Gannavaram programme, which was spoiled by the police.

TDP cautions Jagan on Chandrababu’s security

0

TDP spokesperson, Kommireddy Pattabhiram, on Friday said that the police are completely blocking the way of party president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s programme ‘Idemi Kharma Mana Rashtraniki’ and if any harm is done for him, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is solely responsible.

Terming it as a bizarre incident, Pattabhiram said that the police were literally sitting on the road in front of Chandrababu’s convoy when the TDP supremo was on his way for a roadshow in Anaparthi Assembly segment in East Godavari district.

“It is as if the police are staging a dharna on the road and we are seriously concerned about the security of our leader,” Pattabhiram said in a video message.

The former minister and senior TDP leader, Alapati Rajendra Prasad, said that Jagan is caught in a fear psychosis as Chandrababu’s road shows are getting tremendous response. It is really atrocious that obstructions are created to the road show of Chandrababu Naidu at Anaparthy.

Why the permission for the meeting that was granted in the morning was cancelled by evening, he asked and said that the police, by following Jagan’s instructions, were getting bad reputations to the whole system. As the people are fed up with the Jagan rule, it is the TDP that is going to come back to power, he added.

The MLC and TDP executive secretary, Ashok Babu, strongly condemned the police blocking Chandrababu’s way to Anaparthy. The police are acting in the most undemocratic manner, Ashok Babu demanded a reply from the DGPon the police blocking Chandrababu’s way to Anaparthy.

Ashok Babu told media persons after the incident that the police sitting on the road blocking Chandrabau’s way is really something strange and the country has never witnessed such an incident till now. This clearly indicates how the police system deteriorated, he remarked.

Total debts of Discoms reached a whooping Rs 50,000 cr during Jagan rule, says Pattabhi

0

The whole power sector in Andhra Pradesh got destroyed in the past three-and-half years and the total debt burden on the Discoms touched a whooping Rs 50,000 cr during the YSRCP rule, stated TDP spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Tuesday.

Pattabhiram told media persons that Minister, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, during a review on the power sector on Monday claimed that the Electricity Department is achieving excellent results and all the consumers are happy. He also boasted himself that radical changes have been introduced in the power sector. The fact is that the whole sector got completely damaged after Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister of the State, Pattabhi remarked.

“During Chandrababu Naidu regime not even a single rupee was charged from the consumers and quality power was supplied for 24 hours and 365 days. The total debt burden on the Discoms in five years was a mere Rs 4,188 cr,” Pattabi pointed out. The TDP supremo, who brought in several changes in the power sector, supplied free electricity by improving the working conditions of the Discoms,” he said.

Pattabhi dared Peddyreddy to prove with evidence that he was wrong. When the TDP came to power in 2014, the total debts of the Discoms was Rs 13,834 cr and when the TDP’s rule ended in 2018-19 the debt reached a mere Rs 18,022 cr. This means the debts during the TDP regime was only Rs 4,188 cr, he pointed out.

However, after Jagan came to power in 2019 and till 2022 the total debts reached from Rs 18,022 cr to Rs 50,004 cr. Hence, in the past three-and-half years, Jagan raised Rs 31,981 cr loans in the name of Discoms, which clearly indicates that on an average he raised Rs 1250 cr loan per month after he became the Chief Minister of the State, Pattabhi noted.

Is this the development in power sector as claimed by the Minister concerned, Pattabhiram asked and felt that despite raising these loans the situation has come to such a pass that a power holiday was declared in the State. Besides raising thousands of crores of loans, power charges too have been revised at least seven times in the past three-and-half years thus bringing an additional burden of Rs 17,000 cr on the consumers, he stated.

During the 2014-19 the burden on the Discoms increased by only 30 percent from 2019, during the YSRCP rule the burden has risen to 177 per cent, Pattabhiram maintained. Not only quality power is not supplied to the consumers but also with the undeclared power-cuts and installing meters to motor pump-sets they are being subjected to other kinds of difficulties, the TDP leader stated.

Pattabiram demanded Jagan and Peddireddy to reply with evidence how the money looted from the power consumers amounting to almost Rs 50,000 cr has been diverted.

When Vizag is executive capital why loans raised for Amaravati, asks Pattabhi

0

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who stalled the progress of the capital has raised Rs 3,013 cr loans from various banks in the name of Amaravati through the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) and this is nothing but deliberately cheating the banks, observed TDP spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Saturday.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters Pattabhiram termed Jagan as a big cheat than Vijaya Malya and Neerab Modi. “In December 2019 itself Jagan made a statement on the floor of the Assembly that the capital is going to be shifted to Visakhapatnam from Amaravati and henceforth Vizag will be the executive capital of the State. But in the name of Amaravati he raised loans from the banks and this amounts to nothing but cheating the banks,” Pattabhiram remarked.

All the details as to how Jagan raised loans from the banks in the name of Amaravati are available on page number 50 in the report of the CAG for the financial year 2019-20, Pattabhi said and added that since interest on these loans has not been paid the bank officials went to the CRDA office and questioned the officials there.

During Chandrababu Naidu regime the CRISIL has given A(+) rating for the CRDA but after Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister the rating of the CRDA is A(-), he pointed out.

“There is no minimum balance in the CRDA bank accounts to pay even the interest on the loans and thus the CRISIL gave this rating for the organisation,” Pattabhi stated. During Chandrababu’s regime, there was not even a single instance where the banks demanded or questioned the government officials to repay the loan amount or even interest, he said.

Raising loans in the name of Amaravathi really shocked the people of AP as till yesterday Jagan claimed Vizag to be the executive capital, he observed. It is really shameful that the CRDA officials, including its commissioner, could not face the bankers when they visited the office for loan recovery, Pattabhiram remarked.

Jagan raised a total of Rs 3,013 cr from various banks including the Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank and the Union Bank literally in the name of building the capital and this is nothing but looting these banks in the name of Amaravati, pattabhi observed. The prestige and the future of the State are at stake now and no bank will, in future, extend any loan to AP, Pattabhiram noted.

Advisors are only helping Jagan to rob AP, says Pattabhi

0

TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Friday termed the advisors to the Government as the abettors to Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, to rob the State.

“Jagan Mohan Reddy is not feeling ashamed though the High Court passed serious comments on the system of appointing the advisors to the Government. The Chief Minister continues to appoint slavers and those who assist him in his shady dealings as advisors,” Pattabhiram remarked.

Neither the Chief Minister nor his advisors have even a basic thought to do something good for the State, Pattabhiram said.

Observing that the governments had earlier appointed experts in various fields as advisors to assist the administration for doing something useful for the people, Pattabhi said that Jagan converted the advisors system as a rehabilitation centre.

Though Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh is being paid monthly to each advisor as remuneration besides providing facilities like cars, staff and other necessities, the State is not getting any benefit from them, he remarked.

“The advisors are of the Cabinet rank besides heavy packages are being paid to them. Are the people of the State getting any benefit from them,” he asked.

On the other hand, the employees are suffering heavily as they are not receiving their salaries on time and they have to make appeals to the Governor for payment of their salaries regularly, he stated. “Salaries are nil for the employees and facilities full for the advisors,” he commented.

Stating that the debt burden on the State already crossed Rs 10 lakh cr, Pattabhi asked where Chandrasekhara Reddy is, one of the advisors to the government when the GPF of the employees amounting to Rs 500 cr was taken away by the ruling dispensation.

Pattabhi blames Jagan govt on GO No-1

1

TDP spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhi Ram, on Wednesday said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government in the State is trying to implement draconian laws by bringing in orders like GO No-1 through which the ruling party is trying to create obstructions to meetings being organised by the Opposition parties.

Pattabhi Ram said that the GO No-1 is totally anti-Constitutional, and it denies the fundamental rights of the parties to organise public meetings and hold rallies. By enforcing such anti-Constitutional laws, the Jagan Reddy Government is trying to create hurdles to the meeting being organised by TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in his home constituency, Kuppam.

Stating that the TDP strongly opposes this anti-Constitutional step, Pattabhi Ram said that the party will take the issue to the public domain. He also pointed out that the YSRCP, on Tuesday organised a massive rally in Rajahmundry, particularly by none other than the Chief Minister himself, and asked how a GO which does not apply to the ruling party can forcibly be applied to the Opposition parties like the TDP.

Making it clear that the TDP will go ahead with the programmes in Kuppam, Pattabhiram said if the ruling party makes any efforts to forcibly create trouble, the people will respond suitably.

Pattabhi sees scam in purchase of tabs for students

1

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has made Rs 221 cr in the name of tabs that were distributed as his birthday gifts on Wednesday, said TDP spokesman, Komareddy Pattabhiram.

Talking to media persons, Pattabhiram explained that the Minimum Retail Price (MRP) of each A7 lite Samsung Galaxy tablet with screen size of 8.7 inches is Rs 14,500 which is available on Amazon for Rs 11,999 while Jagan purchased it at Rs 13,262 each. When the tablets are purchased in bulk of lakh pieces, each tab will be available for Rs 9,000 while Jagan paid Rs 13,262 for each tab thus making a whooping Rs 221 cr in the name of distributing birthday gifts.

Pattabhiram asked as to why Jagan chose the BYJU’s Tuition Centre to be set up in the State which is harassing both the students and their parents. Is it not a fact that complaints have been lodged with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights against this BYJU’s centre, he said and questioned Jagan why he invited the institution to the State to set up its centre here which has gone bankrupt after raising a loan of $1.2 billion.

“Even on his birthday Jagan looted the public by Rs 221 cr in the shape of tabs and this is a part of a pre-meditated scandal,” Pattabhiram felt. He is also of the opinion that the BYJU’s coaching centre is invited to the State only for commissions. A national English daily has recently published a story that pressure is mounted on this institute to repay the debts and it will be closed sooner than later, the TDP spokesman said.

Pattabhiram asked the Chief Minister as to why the AP Content Corporation, established by Chandrababu Naidu during his tenure, was forced to be closed. The TDP leader said that Jagan alone is not distributing tabs to students as similar appliances are being distributed in the States like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana.

He asked what Minister, Botsa Satyanarayana, will say about the statement made by his own party leader, DL Ravindra Reddy, on the scam in the purchase of these tablets and on the agreement entered with the BYJU’s. Ravindra Reddy clearly mentioned that other States strongly opposed BYJU’s which had gone bankrupt, but Andhra Pradesh welcomed it, Pattabhiram pointed out.

Jagan destroying dairy farm industry in AP to help Amul, says Pattabhi

1

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, deliberately destroyed the dairy farm industry in Andhra Pradesh only to promote the Amul Dairy, said the TDP spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, here on Thursday.

Calling Jagan as a psycho star, Pattabhiram told media persons at the party headquarters here that the Chief Minister is quite frequently changing his face only to loot the people and their properties. Now he turned into an Amul Baby and is chanting Amul only to hand over the properties of the AP Dairy Development Corporation and the other cooperative dairies, Pattabhiram added.

While entering into an agreement with the Amul company, Jagan made the people believe that lakhs of dairy farmers in the State will benefit from this pact, Pattabhi said. But now the Chief Minister is driving the dairy farmers to turn slaves to Amul company, he said.

“Where is the right to Jagan, who is losing power in a matter of another one year and is going to jail, to lease out the Chittoor Dairy for 99 years to the Amul company,” Pattabhiram asked. How the annual lease amount can be Rs 1 cr each for 99 years when the value of the rupee falls even after a year, he said.

The Chittor Dairy spread over 33 acres and the land cost itself is about Rs 500 cr, he said while the dairy has several chilling centres too. The total cost of the Chittor Dairy is over Rs 650 cr and how Jagan Reddy can lease out the company for just Rs 1 cr annually, he asked.

Jagan who, before elections, promised the dairy farmers Rs 4 bonus for every litre of milk, is now keeping silent, Pattabhi said adding that even costly lands in every town in the State are being handed over to Amul company to set up its retail outlets. How can the Chief Minister hand over such expensive lands to the company as it is not his personal property, he said.

Why CID mum on Sankalpa Siddi scam, asks Pattabhi

1

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Monday asked as to why the Crime Investigation Department (CID) is keeping silent on the notorious scandal involving Sankalpa Siddhi organisation despite receiving enough evidence.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters, Pattabhiram said that the massive scandal created a sensation besides Andhra Pradesh, in Karnataka and Telangana. It appears that the CID wing is deliberately neglecting the scam under the directions of some top person and is trying to safeguard someone, Pattabhiram remarked.

The management of Sankalpa Siddhi cheated the public by making false promises of getting large scale profits if they grow red sanders trees or invest in real estate ventures. There were already media reports on the involvement of the close associates of YSRCP leader, Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Kodali Naani, he stated.

When the Sankalpa Siddhi management representatives were presented before the media by Vijayawada Police Commissioner, Kranthi Rana Tata, after they were arrested, they said that the complaints were first made to the CID much before the police came to know about the scam, Pattabhiram said. The Police Commissioner too said that the complaints on the scandal were made available to the CID before the police came to know about it and even said that he was not aware of the progress on the complaints, the TDP leader said.

Pattabhiram asked as to why the CID did not investigate the case despite receiving the complaints on the scandal much before the police received the complaints. Is the CID boss, or its officials not finding time to probe the case, he asked and said that he raised this issue earlier too.

Had the CID investigated the scam on time the people would not have suffered so much losses, Pattabhiram said, adding that the CID is busy harassing innocent people and filing false cases. The primary responsibility of the CID is to control the crime and see to it that no scandals take place, he observed.

Nani, Vamsi swallowed Rs 1100 cr with Tadepalli palace blessings, says Pattabhi

0

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokesman, Kommireddy Pattabhiram, on Friday said that a fresh scam involving Rs 1100 crore has come to light in the State.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters Pattabhiram said that the role of the YSRCP MLAs, Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi, in this scandal should be probed both by the State Government and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Observing that there is no limit for the financial scandals involving the YSRCP MLAs in this State being ruled by financial extremist, Jagan Mohan Reddy, the TDP spokesman said stories on the ruling party leaders grabbing the lands of the poor and harassing them have been coming to light regularly.

Now, the true colours of a YSRCP MLA, who migrated from the TDP to the now ruling party only for power and to make money, are exposed, Pattabhiram added. Narrating the details of the latest scam, Pattabhiram said that Kodali Nani and Vamsi under the supervision of their close associate, Olupalli Ranga, have formed a bogus unit in the name of Sankalpa Siddhi, through which they amassed Rs 1100 cr. These leaders, who are well aware of their defeat in the coming polls, are making such a huge amount of money only to purchase votes in the next elections, he stated.

This Sankalpa Siddghi and the Ekart India Private Limited are conducting their operations making Gudivada and Gannavaram as headquarters under the supervision of Ranga but Gutta Venugopal Krishna and Gutta Kiran as binamis, Pattabhiram stated. Their initial investment was a mere Rs 1 lakh when they established it on May 17, 2022 but within such a short time they made a whooping Rs 1100 cr, he pointed out.

This thoroughly exposes how Kodali Nani and Vamsi looted the poor and how Volupalli Ranga, who is a close associate of Nani, cheated the public. The agents of the Ekart Pvt Ltd and the Sankalpa Siddhi, cheated the common man by promising Rs 200 payment per day if one invests Rs 20,000 besides paying Rs 60,000 in just 10 months, Pattabhiram explained.

Jagan eyeing on private lands with land protection scheme, says Pattabhi

Ever since the YSRCP came to power, Chief MInister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been eyeing on lands and now he has shifted his focus on private lands since the illegal occupancy of government lands is complete, said TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Wednesday.

Talking to media persons, Pattabhiram said Jagan’s latest land protection (Bhu Rakshana) scheme is only aimed at forcibly occupying private lands in the State. Now people started thinking ‘Idemi Kharma’ (What is this ill-fate) and they should protect their own lands, Pattabhiram added.

The main purpose of the land protection scheme is who should occupy how much land and thus Jagan started uttering ‘Mee Bhumi, Naa Bhumi’ (Your land and our land), the TDP leader commented. What is the history of the Minister, Dharmana Prasada Rao, who shared the dais with Jagan at Narsannapet, he asked and pointed out that the Minister has illegally occupied the ex-servicemen’s lands by changing the land records.

There is no need to mention the encroachment of the lands by YSRCP MP, Viayasai Reddy, the TDP spokesman said adding that Visakha MP, MVV Satyanarayana, too has the history of forcibly occupying lands of others. Pattabhiram said that the new scheme has been launched only to have the details of the owners of the lands across the State and asked what is the need now to issue passbooks for the land owners afresh.

Stating that former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, issued the passbooks when Jagan didn’t have the knowledge about what is a passbook, Pattabhiram wanted the people to visit their lands regularly so that they will not be illegally occupied by the ruling party leaders. Jagan brought in the new laws and issued fresh GOs only to legalise the illegally occupied lands, particularly those lands owned by those who are staying abroad, he remarked.

Pattabhiram said that when Chandrababu’s public meetings are drawing massive crowds, only barricades are appearing at the public meetings of Jagan. As Chandrababu works for the welfare of the people, Jagan works for destroying the State, he stated.

The TDP leader asked how Jagan can compare himself with late NT Rama Rao. If Jagan has any respect for the late leader, how can he close the Anna Canteens and how will he change the name of the Health University, he asked. It is Chandrababu who is the political heir of the late NT Rama Rao and it is only the TDP that can give good governance to the State, he commented.

TDP demands CBI probe into rise in rice exports from Kakinada port

0

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokesperson, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Tuesday asked the State Government as to how there is a steep rise in rice exports from the Kakinada port though the paddy production in the State has gone down drastically in the past couple of years.

The TDP spokesman told media persons here that in 2018-19 the paddy production in the State was 82.30 lakh tonnes it came down to 78.90 lakh tonnes in 2020-21. The rice exports in 2018-19 were 18.0akh tonnes and in 2020-21 the exports rose to 31.51 lakh tonnes and by 2021-22 the exports went up remarkably to 48.26 lakh tonnes. How there is such sudden growth in the export of rice, he asked.

The reports from the Centre clearly mentioned that there is no growth in the paddy cultivation in Andhra Pradesh in the past couple of years, Pattabhiram pointed out and asked when this is the reality how the exports have shot up so high. This clearly indicates that the ration rice is being diverted and the stocks are being exported to foreign countries, the TDP leader said.

Pattabhiram said that the State government has made it clear that 82.75 lakh tonnes of ice was procured in 2020-21 while the Central reports said that the production in the same year was only 78.90 lakh tonnes. This means that something went wrong somewhere, Pattabham said and demanded that only a probe by the CBI will bring facts to light.

Observing that the three-and-a-half-year rule of the YSRCP is filled with scams like rice scandal, land scam, liquor scandal and mining, Pattabhiram stated that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, always focuses on how to fill his pockets but never thinks about the poor and the downtrodden sections of society.

Union Minister, Piyush Goel, admitted on the floor of Parliament itself that there are no accounts for 5.70 lakh tonnes of rice supplied by the Centre to the State, Pattabhiram said adding that this rice is being exported through Kakinada port by the mafia. The TDP leader stated that the claim by the YSRCP leaders that the rice exports have gone up as the stocks are from Chhattisgarh State are baseless and totally wrong.

Pattabhi poses 10 questions to Jagan

1

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national spokesman, Kommineni Pattabhiram, on Sunday asked the Chief Minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, as to why he is ot opening his mouth on the murder of his paternal uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy, despite the media and other political leaders are suspecting his hand behind it.

Pattabhiram told media persons at the TDP headquarters here that when the whole world is posting various kinds of comments in social media with a hashtag “Abbai Killed Bababi” why Jagan is not responding to these posts. The people of the State have been eagerly waiting for Mr Jagan’s reply for the past three-and-half years, Pattabhiram said.

“The whole State was shocked when Jagan, while in the Opposition, showered a lot of affection towards his uncle, particularly when he was done to death. But after becoming the Chief Minister, he is maintaining total silence on the murder,” Patabhiram said and demanded immediate measures to bring the culprits to book.

Sunitha, the daughter of the late, Vivekananda Reddy, was hopeful that her cousin, Jagan, would extend all possible help to her to arrest the culprits but Jagan has chosen to simply ignore the case after becoming the Chief Minister, the TDP national spokesman observed. In fact, Sunitha feels that Jagan is defending the culprits and that justice will not be done to her if her father’s murder
case is investigated in the State and thus she wanted the case to be shifted to some other State, he said.

While in Opposition, Jagan played a high drama of calling on then Governor, seeking urgent steps to probe his uncle murder case, Pattabhiram said and asked why he suspended the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the der case after Jagan came to power. Also, the Chief Minister moved the High Court seeking urgent orders to stop the CBI probe into the case, he added. All these steps clearly indicate that Jagan played a high drama while in Opposition, he said.

Pattabhiram said that the TDP is now giving him a bumper offer that he can give answers to the 10 questions being posed by the TDP to prove that he is innocent. Jagan can reply to these queries either in 10 minutes, 10 hours or even in 10 days, he said

The queries

1) How the family members of Jagan’s wife, Bharathi, could reach the murder spot in just three minutes, much before others reached there.

2) How a reporter of the media owned by Mr Jagan, could report within 10 minutes that Mr Viveka died of a massive heart stroke.

3) Did Mr Gajjala Jayaprakash Reddy, who was working as compounder for the hospital owned by Mr Jagan’s uncle, Mr Ganga Reddy, applied surgical sutures for the wounds

4) What is the plot behind the withdrawal of the SIT under the supervision of a DG-level officer on 13 June 2019, within weeks of your becoming the Chief Minister and why only SP level officer is appointed as the incharge of the SIT

5) How the accused number one in the case, Mr Yerra Gangi Reddy, got bail within a month of your becoming the Chief Minister

6) Is it not a fact that when the SIT incharge, Mr Mahanthy, was going to Kadapa on 2 September 2019 to interrogate the Kadapa MP, Mr Avinash Reddy’s, follower Mr Uday Kumar Reddy, Mr Mahanthy was called over phone from your palace

7) Why you have withdrawn your petition before the High Court on CBI probe

8) How the key witness in the murder case, Mr Sankaraiah’s supension was revoked within a week

9) What is the conspiracy behind the suspected murder of the key accused in the murder case, Mr K Srinivas Reddy (2 June 2019) and Mr Gangadhar Reddy (9 June 2022)

10) Is it not a fact that you are making every effort to safeguard Mr Sivasankar Reddy, the accused-four in the murder case.

Pattabhiram asked Jagan to reply to these questions or accept his involvement in the murder of Vivekananda Reddy.

Why Jagan is silent on farm products purchase scam, asks Pattabhiram

2

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, who held a review meeting on purchase of farm products, is keeping mum on the Rs 200 cr scam in the process, asked TDP spokesman Kommareddy Pattabhiram, on Wednesday.

The Civil Supplies Corporation Managing Director, Veera Pandian, himself has admitted misuse of funds amounting to Rs 150 cr in the purchase of farm products during Rabi season by creating 2800 fake accounts, Pattabhiram told media persons at the party headquarters here. The Civil Supplies Managing Director has also written to the District Collectors on July 19, 2022 to recover the amount, Pattabhiram said adding that in the Nellore Civil Supplies Corporation too Rs 50 cr was misused.

When the Government itself has admitted the scam in the purchase of farm products, the Chief Minister should first conduct a review meeting on this, Pattabhiram said. He asked whether Jagan, during the review meeting, had questioned Veera Pandian on the Rs 150 cr scandal and wanted to know Veera Pandian’s reply.

When the huge scandal amounting to Rs 200 cr has already come to light, what the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is doing and why is it keeping quiet on this, he asked. Pattabhiram demanded an immediate reply from the Government on what steps are taken on Veera Pandian’s letter of July 19, 2022. The Government should come out with all the facts as the farmers had lost such a massive amount of Rs 200 cr, he said.

Pattabhiram demanded that the amount be recovered from the persons involved in the scam, and wanted to know how much of this had gone into the pockets of the ruling party leaders. The TDP spokesman also wanted the farmers to be alert in future while selling their products.
