Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback with Vakeel Saab, a court drama that is the remake of Bollywood film Pink. His fans weren’t excited when the announcement was out. Pink was watched widely by the Tollywood audience and it also was remade in the neighboring language Tamil. The film’s director Sriram Venu and his team made enough changes considering Pawan Kalyan without spoiling the emotional essence of this social drama. “Vakeel Saab is Pawan Kalyan’s tribute to women. He has immense respect for women and when we narrated the script, Pawan suggested a couple of changes. All these showed how much he respects women. Vakeel Saab is more emotional and is laced with all the commercial ingredients” said the director. Apart from Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali will be seen in other pivotal roles. Vakeel Saab may release for Dasara if the shoots resume from July. Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor are the producers.

He said that Pawan himself spent on his travel expenses and it is not true that the producers spent on a chartered flight for Pawan all these days. Sriram Venu also said that Vakeel Saab is close to Pawan’s ideologies and he enjoyed every moment directing Pawan Kalyan in the film. The young director also said that the entire team was blown away with the dedication of the top actor. Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas and Anjali played other crucial roles in Vakeel Saab. Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor are the producers.

More than 5,000 fishermen who migrated from Srikakulam to Gujarat are stranded there with no food, Jana Sena Party president posted in his latest Tweet requesting the Bharatiya Janata Party to come to their rescue.

In the Tweet, Pawan Kalyan said it has come to the notice of Jana Sena Party that 5,000 fishermen who hail from Arivalasa village in Ranastalam of Srikakulam district were stranded in Somnath district of Gujarat and that the party brought the issue to the notice of Andhra Pradesh BJP. “We will also bring this issue to the notice of the Gujarat BJP,” Pawan Kalyan tweeted.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP immediately retweeted “Dear Pawan Kalyan Garu, Kanna Garu also spoke to me a while ago on this. I have just spoken to chief secretary, Gujarat Shri Anil Mukim. He assured me that adequate rations, food will be arranged for fishermen from AP and that he would speak to district collector immediately.”

Meanwhile, Somnath, Gir collector reacted to the tweets assuring all assistance to the stranded fishermen. In the tweet, the district collector wrote “All fishermen- whether from Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra – stranded at Veraval port are being provided food etc and offered accommodation apart from one round of health check up.”

The lack of adequate quality masks and lack of protective gear like the Personal Protective Equipment is imperilling the ability of medical fraternity to fight the corona virus — and putting their own lives at risk, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan said in a statement on Friday.

“The doctors and paramedical staff are not properly armed to fight the war against corona virus. How can we expect them to fight the war against corona virus without protective gear. Is it fair to send the soldiers to war without weapons,” he questioned.

He demanded that the AP government address the pressing problem of severe shortage of medical equipment and ensure that the doctors and paramedical staff are provided with all the required protective gear so that they impart their duties without the risk of contracting the virus. “The government should provide quality masks like N95, gowns and eye gear otherwise it will imperil the ability of medical workers to fight the coronavirus,” he noted.

“In the process of containing the spread of the virus, they’re putting tbeir own health, and that of their families, at risk. The government should address the protective gear supply shortage for doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff,” he demanded.

“There are hundreds of Indian students stranded across the country and in need of food and accommodation. The Indian government should help the students,” the actor turned politician said on Thursday.

The Union government banned the entry of passengers from Europe, Turkey and the UK from March 18 till March 31 to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus virus that has claimed 50 lives so far and infected nearly 2,000 people. Indian students in the UK are desperate to return to India since the time the central government had banned travelers from Britain.

The national lockdown has caused severe strain at the inter-state borders. Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan appealed to CM Jaganmohan Reddy to resolve the problem of those who are stranded at the borders. He asked for immediate steps to complete screening tests and send these people to their home isolation. In special videos, the Tollywood actors have appealed to fans to keep themselves safe from the novel coronavirus, also known as Covid-19.

With the rising levels of fear and uncertainty, Chiranjeevi in a special video aimed at educating people on how to keep safe advises fans to be careful and cautious amid coronavirus scare with a do’s and don’t’s list and appealed to the people to stay indoors so as to avoid contracting the deadly virus. Chiranjeevi called off his ongoing shooting of Acharya movie by two to three weeks in light of the spread of corona virus.

In another video, Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja and senior N T Rama Rao’s grandson junior NTR released a special video, in which they can be seen sharing some safety measures to fight Covid-19. Urging people not panic, the actors advised some do’s and don’t’s like – avoid public gatherings, don’t shake hands or hug while socialising and wash hands thoroughly.

Mahesh Babu took to Instagram and advocated social distancing. In his Instagram, he said, “Social distancing is the need of the hour!! It’s a tough call but we need to make it. This is the time to sacrifice our social life and prioritise public safety. Stay indoors as much as you can and make the most of this phase with your family and loved ones (sic).”

After returning from film shooting in the United States which has witnessed a surge of corona cases of more than 21,000, Baahubali fame Prabhas took to Instagram. “On safely returning from my shoot abroad, in light of the increasing risks of #Covid19. I have decided to self quarantine.Hope you all are also taking the necessary precautions to be safe.”

Rakul Preet Singh, whose upcoming movie Attack was cancelled due to the spread of the virus, appeared in a special video and appealed to stay indoors and take all necessary precautions like avoiding public gatherings to fight the virus.

The Covid-19, caused by novel coronavirus, has so far claimed more than 11,000 lives worldwide. In India, four people died of the disease and around 283 people have been tested positive till now. Let’s hope that the actors messages and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Janata Curfew’ call will hopefully have a positive impact on the fans and the people in general.

Ex CM Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan gave a strong advice to AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy. While Naidu accused Jagan Circar of suppressing details of corona virus cases, Senani said that YCP is putting politics above public health. They demanded that the government should give its first priority to the corona virus preventive measures and awareness drives in the state. Now is not a time for ego issues. The ruling YCP is downplaying the importance of taking public health safety measures. That is obviously because Jagan Reddy’s immediate focus is on his political mission. One by one, all the opposition parties are slowly taking an extreme hard line against AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy. Now, Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan is threatening the YCP government with dire consequences if it still continues its oppressive and suppressive activities. Senani says that this Jagan Circar is making physical attacks and also crippling financial status of opponents. Jana Sena will not watch this silently and there will be a revolt in the streets.
