Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are playing the lead roles in the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. The shoot of the film is almost 60 percent complete and top director Trivikram made enough changes considering Pawan Kalyan’s image in mind. While the characters of both the lead actors are balanced in the original, the Telugu version will be narrated in a different theme. Rana Daggubati will be seen as the lead antagonist in the film and he is presented with negative shades completely.

Rana Daggubati’s role will be powerfully packed and has enough elevations. Some special episodes are penned for the Telugu version. This would indirectly elevate Pawan’s role in the film. Pawan is now shooting for Krish’s film and will return back to the sets of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake next month. The film directed by Saagar Chandra is aimed for September release. Sithara Entertainments are the producers and Thaman is the music composer.

Actor Rana Daggubati says working on the documentary, Mission Frontline, has given him a perspective on what goes into guarding our frontiers. The upcoming documentary highlights the life of jawans of the Border Security Force.

“India’s Border Security Force – or the country’s first line of defense has no holidays, no breaks and no breathers. If it isn’t for those brave-hearts always on their toes, our nation stands at risk. I feel grateful to have been able to meet them, live with them and train with them,” Rana said.

“As a civilian and countryman, this experience gave me perspective on what goes into guarding our frontiers, 24/7. These Jawans are our lifeline, our guarantee to sovereignty, and they’re the true heroes,” the actor added.

“Going by what I experienced in Jaisalmer, Mission Frontline is a tribute to those Jawans’ grit and spirit, with the intention to drive home some inspiration and gratitude for our defense forces, whose service we often take for granted,” he shared.

In the episode, Rana will be seen experiencing the life of a BSF Jawan and live with them at the Murar Post, Jaisalmer. He will be seen performing several tasks, including physical training routines and running drills. Rana will also be trained to use weapons, patrolling on camel and riding sand scooters.

The documentary will premiere on discovery+ on January 21.

Rana Daggubati has done an impressive set of films in his career in all the languages. The actor wrapped up the shoot of Viraata Parvam and is eagerly waiting to join the sets of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake that features Pawan Kalyan in the other lead role. During a recent interview, his dad Suresh Babu said that the Daggubati multi-starrer is getting ready and an official announcement would be made once the script is ready.

Apart from these, Rana is said to have signed one more multi-starrer. Rana and Vishwak Sen will play the lead roles in this interesting film that will be produced by Suresh Productions. Apart from these, Rana Daggubati is finalizing scripts for his production house and is producing several interesting content-driven films.

Rana is currently holidaying abroad with his wife Miheeka Bajaj. He recently made it clear that he is completely fit and is away from health issues. On the whole, Rana Daggubati is getting ready for fabulous 2021 and 2022.
