CBN should confer Revanth Reddy with ‘Most Loyal Politician’ award!

2

People often compare loyalty to that of a dog. Such is the reputation of the dog as a loyal animal to its owner. But it looks like people should start comparing loyalty with former TDP leader, and current T-Congress leader Revanth Reddy.

‘TS CM KCR spent over 7 hours reviewing the vote-for-note case with senior officials, and legal experts. Few people are trying to excerpt political advantage either by threatening or frightening us. The review of vote-for-case is just a part of the political vendetta by CM KCR and PM Modi.

CBN walked out of NDA because the BJP has done injustice to AP. Similarly, even I’m fighting against the TRS government, and exposing how KCR and his family are leading a lavish life, and robbing the Telangana state. This is the very reason Modi has directed KCR, and the latter has review the vote-for-note case’, said Revanth Reddy.

It is quite astonishing to see a political leader, still speaking about his ex-boss (CBN in this case), and making him a part of his conversation and trying to shield him. We hope that CBN realizes this, and confers Revanth Reddy with the ‘Most Loyal Politician’ award.

Villagers fire on Firebrand Revanth Reddy!

0

Though Revanth Reddy’s party has changed (from TDP to Congress), his firebrand image has remained intact. It is not surprising to know that, there are more foes than allies in his new party. Moreover, one cannot deny the fact that, once a key politician in (Combined) AP Politics, I now fighting for his existence in Congress party.

Adding to this, the Kodangal MLA, Revanth Reddy is once again caught in a controversy. This time it is not his aggressive nature that brought him trouble, but his attitude. Revanth Reddy’s car hit a monument in Maddur Mandal, Mahbubnagar District. Instead of coming out, and apologising for the mishap, the MLA chose to be within the car.

The villagers initially demanded that the MLA should step out of the car, and apologize for the mishap. Soon the whole village started protesting over MLA’s behaviour. Realizing that the incident is going out of hands, Revanth Reddy nicely escaped on a bike from there, without being noticed.

Police who arrived at the scene became mere spectators after the villagers chose to block the national highway. The villagers alleged, the police were protecting Revanth Reddy and demanded the arrest of the MLA. The villagers took the matter to Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao.

Devender Goud to follow Revanth Reddy into Congress?

1

Devender Goud likely to join Congress

Devender Goud, senior leader of Telugu Desam Party, is learnt to have decided to turncoat and join Congress party that has become active in Telangana for sometime now. Goud, originally TDP leader, later founded the Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTP) in 2008 to fight for separate statehood for Telangana region, then merged it into Chiranjeevi’s PRP and lost elections in 2009 and finally returned to his parent outfit TDP. He served as a cabinet minister for BC welfare and Prohibition portfolios in NTR’s cabinet, cabinet minister for Revenue and Home portfolios under Chandrababu Naidu. He was considered number two leader, next only to Nara Chandrababu Naidu in TDP before he resigned to TDP. Now he is learnt to have decided to join the Congress party along with his son Veerender Goud. There are rumors he took this decision, keeping his son’s political future in mind.

Devender Goud is not in active politics in last few years because of health issues. He got the treatment in the US and recovered now and started focusing on political career again. But as TDP lost its base in Telangana, thanks to Operation Akarsh by KCR, Goud started exploring other options. For some reasons, he explored congress and BJP but not TRS. But he ruled out BJP option too and finally decided to join Congress party along with his son Veerender. With Revanth Reddy joining the party recently, Congress party is in full ‘josh’. Goud is very powerful BC leader and his joining is expected to strengthen Congress further.

Bid to put TRS in a fix

0

Is Congress and TDP trying to put TRS and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in a fix by playing Revanth card in a foxy way? That’s million dollar question.

It’s almost a week since Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy resigned from Telangana Telugu Desam party and all the positions he had held. Later, he joined Congress amid fanfare. But still he is officially continuing to be a TTDP member because the Telangana Legislature has not yet received Revanth’s resignation letter from party president Chandrababu Naidu to whom the former had submitter the letter. Without it, Assembly Speaker can’t take a decision.

The question being asked in political circles is, whether the AP Chief Minister has kept Revanth’s resignation letter deliberately or is there something else up his sleeve? Either way, none is losing anything and everyone is buying time for the right move at the right time.

The Telangana Assembly is in session and it is witnessing heated debates between the opposition and the ruling party over issues ranging from civic infrastructure to KCR’s obsession to shift the Assembly and Secretariat buildings from the present premises to a brand new complex to be built on defence land in Secunderabad.

So, it may be taken for granted that Revanth’s issue is not on top of everybody’s mind. But it can’t be pushed under carpet as Revanth, given his dogged persistence, will keep the issue burning until the Speaker takes a decision once he receives the resignation letter.

Whatever decision he takes impinges on 20 odd MLAs from Congress, YSR Congress and TDP, who defected to TRS allegedly at the behest of the ruling party. Speaker Madhusudhana Chary (TRS) has kept their fate hanging ever since they left their parties on whose tickets they got elected but joined the TRS.
Revanth’s resignation is bound to put the Speaker in a Catch 22 situation. If he keeps it pending, like other cases, Chary will face the opposition flak. If he takes a decision, he can’t restrict it to one individual legislator, claiming each case will be considered on its own merit. Either way, legal challenges abound. Moreover, while earlier defectors have switched over to the ruling party, in Revanth’s case it is Congress, not TRS.

Undoubtedly, Chandrababu will be waiting and watching the unfolding political drama in Hyderabad.

Congress strategy in Telangana

0

Congress strategy in Telangana

Revanth Reddy’s defection is like giving a lifeline to Congress, contrary to popular perception that he has jumped on to a sinking ship. As the dust he raised in political circles is settling down, it is increasingly becoming clear that neither the former TDP leader nor the Telangana Pradesh Congress is naive.

Both Revanth and TPCC have a common agenda – to dethrone Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) from power in the 2019 Assembly elections – with different goals. While it is interesting to watch the political churning in the Telugu states, what is more interesting is the way Congress leaders are playing their cards vis-a-vis Revanth’s one-man show.

Since he walked out of the TDP cradle, Revanth has never criticized his former party or its supremo Chandrababu Naidu. On the other hand, he is making no bones about his admiration for the AP Chief Minister. Even in his resignation letter, Revanth was all praise for Chandrababu and his family. In part, he said, “you have treated me as one of your family members and stood by me in my struggle.”
Once again, he paid his respects to Chandrababu at a meeting of his supporters and some leaders (all from TDP) at his Jubilee Hills home on Monday, saying “he (Naidu) is my role model.” His target, both in his resignation letter and in public utterances is TRS and KCR and his family members. Calling on the people to free Telangana from the ‘despotic rule’ of KCR clan, Revanth said, what is at stake is “four-member KCR kin versus four crore citizens of state.”

Revanth’s agenda is obvious: He doesn’t want to burn his boats though he crossed the river. His heart seems to be still with Telugu Desam although he joined hands with Congress for political expediency. The emerging situation points to the fact that a sizable number of TDP cadres would follow Revanth, swelling Congress ranks in Telangana that would benefit the party in 2019. Since Telugu Desam, which has lost its foothold in Telangana long ago, can’t revive its fortunes even if it bolsters its presence, is likely to give Revanth tacit support to defeat TRS.

This is where the interests of Congress, in the dumps after bifurcation, and Revanth coalesce. But the point not to be missed is their bonhomie will last as long as they have a common purpose. But ties can sour when Revanth and his supporters start flexing their muscles as a group within the Congress.

The old guard within the party is already unhappy over Revanth’s entry as their importance is diminishing and a new wave of youth leaders (most of them from TDP ranks) will send the aging leaders into oblivion.

In a way, that is what the central Congress leadership wants. With Rahul Gandhi set to become party president and his stress is on young blood, the old generation has to make way for the youth. In Telangana, Revanth coming into Congress fold will also serve that purpose.

More importantly, Revanth is trying to revive ‘the spirit of Telangana’ by calling on the students of Osmania University to launch an agitation against the TRS government. Already, OU cauldron is boiling over unfulfilled promises made by KCR before and after the formation of Telangana. With Prof Kodandaram, who was at the vanguard of Telangana agitation, spearheading protests against the state government on various issues, on the side of it, Congress hopes to regain its lost strength. With Kodandaram and Revanth on its side, Congress feels to have got a booster shot.

Parties tag Revanth as Iron Leg, Evil spirit, Chameleon & Not Baahubali

0

T-TDP president L Ramana reacting to A Revanth Reddy episode compared the Kodangal MLA to an evil spirit which left TDP and which will now defile congress. He said that he was bad omen to Chandrababu Naidu and NTR Trust Bhavan. He alleged that Revanth hijacked TDP’s programmes of Rythuporu (farmers struggle) and Vidhyarthi poru (students struggle).

TRS leader Jupally Krishna Rao compared Revanth to chameleon who changes parties. He said that Revanth is twisting the words and people will not believe him. He said TDP and Congress which ruled for 60 years in Andhra Pradesh hardly did anything for Telangana.

Kukatpally MLA who switched from TDP to TRS, Madhavaram Krishna Rao said that TDP got ruined because of Revanth and gave him a tag of “Iron leg”. He said that while the leaders developed the party for 30 years, Revanth in just six years destroyed the party.

Senior Congress leader Jana Reddy said just by joining the party one doesn’t become Baahubali but whoever makes Congress party win will become one. Jana compared himself to L K Advani of TPCC. He said that he doesn’t have desire to become Chief Minister, but if everybody requests then he will not deny.

Revanth into Congress ratifies vendetta between Velkam vs Reddy

0

Velkam Vs Reddy, Revanth Reddy

Revanth Reddy joining Congress is going to alter political and caste equations in the state. It is a two-faced competition between TRS and Congress, also not to disregard VelKam (Velma+Kamma) versus Reddy.

Revanth’s decision is going to unite the Reddy community in Telangana and also will be the voice for the anti-KCR segment. Even though statistically Reddys are not very high in number, they are known to be socially strong. They play key role in dominating politics even if they are not in power.

If reports are to be believed, Reddys convened secret meetings fearing that their importance is diminishing politically and socially.

They have expressed discontent over a Velma chief minister, who being part of microscopic minority population, dictating the politics.

The consequences over the past few days have provoked them, especially the CM abusing Professor Kodandaram and debates in a KCR favored media house against Reddy community itself.

In open deliberations, Reddys were being verbally attacked, simultaneously Kammas were showered with praises. With Jana Reddy’s comment that Baahubali will enter and discomfort among Reddys, Revanth can emerge as a strong force to counter KCR.

Even if KCR allies with TDP or BJP to gain support of dominant Kamma community, Congress along with TJAC led by Kodandaram will certainly be a tough nut to crack for TRS.

How many leaders will tag along with Revanth Reddy into Congress?

0

Revanth Reddy

Revanth Reddy following his resignation from TDP on Saturday, met with his followers in Kodangal on Sunday and will be meeting them again on Monday to contemplate on future course of action.

In his game of bringing anti-TRS forces together, Revanth might have just about dozen leaders who will be tagging along into Congress apart from MLA Vem Narender Reddy.

The names of leaders like Sattupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, Former MLAs Dayakara Reddy and Vijayarama Rao, Nalgonda Assembly Constituency in-charge Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, TDP leader from Suryapet district Patel Ramesh Reddy, Seethakka surfaced who could possibly defect into Congress.

Of the aforesaid names ,Sandra, Dayakara, Seethakka, are not inclined towards Congress and may not join the grand old party.

However, the TDP allegedly got resignation letters from a few State executive members from Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda. Speculations are rift that TRS leadership is in talks with TDP politburo members who want to switch allegiance.

Nonetheless, Congress leadership is tuning their local leaders about the entry of the newcomers requesting them to adapt to the change. Moreover, they noted that no assurances have been given on tickets for next elections.

Ramana compares Revanth to back-stabber Nadendla

0

L Ramana, Revanth Reddy

Telangana Telugu Desam Party President L Ramana made sensational comments on Revanth Reddy’s resignation. He compared Revanth with Nadendla Bhaskara Rao who pulled a coup on the NTR government in 1985 by shaking hands with Indira Gandhi.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday he said that there is hardly any loss for the party with Revanth’s exit. Such consequences are not new to TDP and advised the cadre not be apprehensive.

Revanth was in touch with Congress from past 6 months, and this information was provided to the party supremo Chandrababu Naidu. He warned that the actions, against the party ideology, will not be tolerated. He said that in Telangana, TDP will emerge on its own and will fight against Congress and TRS.

Ramana said that there is no need to bother about the allegations made by Revanth when leaving the party.

In Telangana, TDP will be strengthened and all the districts and constituencies are going to visit the leaders. However, the T-TDP president mentioned that they are open for alliances and anyone whose ideologies are similar. He said that TDP will be competing in 119 constituencies in Telangana in next elections

Revanth Reddy’s political journey: What Next?

0

Revanth Reddy

Revanth Reddy’s resignation to TDP party and his MLA seat has been the most debated topic among political circles today. Though he maintained a stoic silence over his future plans, its almost an open secret that he would be joining Congress.

Revanth has graduated from Osmania University in 1992. He started political career in 2006 after he won ZPTC Election as an independent candidate. Then, he was elected as MLC as an independent candidate in 2008 . Later he met TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and joined the Telugu Desam Party. In 2009 and then in 2014 he was elected to the Andhra Pradesh assembly (After elections Telangana came into effect) from Kodangal Constituency through TDP. Revanth Reddy emerged as a firebrand with his sharp tongue and incessant fight on ruling TRS party. Seems this has brought him into the eyes of Congress national leadership now. Moreover,he was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on “vote for note” case and the case is on going. So if he changes loyalties now, there would be interesting twists and turns in that case too.

Now, there is debate going on whether Revanth’s decision to join Congress would help him or will it be a blunder. Congress has been notorious for giving too much significance until leaders join their party and after that treating them like any other leader of their party forgetting all the promises made to the leaders before joining the party. Chiranjeevi used get the appointment of then prime minister Manmohan Singh as and when he wanted until he merged his PRP and once the merger was over, Congress top management showed their true colors and Chiranjeevi himself once made a public statement (a party meeting organized by VH in Hyderabad) that he seemed to have joined a sinking ship. Many analysts use the phrase “Dhritarashtra hug” whenever congress party leaders hug other leaders. So, even though all other leaders of Telangana Congress are silent now, they will definitely start expressing their opinions once Revanth joins Congress party officially. Even though congress has the tradition of encouraging Reddy community, there are already bunch of Reddy leaders in congress.

So we have to wait and see how Revanth will climb up the ladder in the congress party. He was a big fish in small pond till yesterday. Will he be fine to be a small fish in big pond. In fact, now he is joining an ocean. Will he prove himself big enough to survive in the ocean. Only time can answer!!!

Revanth Reddy resigns as Kodangal MLA

0

Revanth Reddy resigns as Kodangal MLA

Telangana leader Revanth Reddy’s resignation from TDP and as MLA is being done strategically. In yet another development on Saturday, Revanth tendered resignation to his seat from Telangana Legislative assembly by sending the letter to the speaker.

He represents Kodangal constituency. In his resignation letter to the speaker, Revanth wrote “I hereby tender my resignation of my seat in the house with effect from 27-10-2017”

This development comes within couple of hours after he resigned from Telugu Desam Party. Revanth took care not to criticise anyone in his party resignation letter.

It may be recalled that previously Revanth said that like Amethi is for Rahul Gandhi, Kuppam for Chandrababu, Kodangal is bastion for him.

On the other hand, Rahul will be visiting Telangana in the second week of November when the leader will be most likely joining the party.

Revanth Reddy exits from TDP!

0

Revanth Reddy resigned to TDP

As expected Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy resigned from the Telugu Desam party’s primary membership. Warangal leader Vem Narender Reddy also tendered his resignation.

Kodangal MLA after lot of speculations exited from the party on Saturday afternoon in Vijayawada. As the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was addressing a media conference, the resignation letter was handed over to his secretary. Revanth in the letter stated that he has high respect for the party supremo who helped him grow but felt dejected over the actions of some of the party members. He noted that in the fight against TRS and KCR, he has to resign from TDP.

Chief Minister responding on the development said that he did not get the resignation letter yet. He reportedly asked Revanth to wait until the meeting with media is over, so that they can speak about the incidents in recent past. The TDP chief who returned from abroad said that people should know of the developments .

Revanth gets hugs from TPCC while T-TDP leaders snub

0

A very attention-grabbing scene was witnessed in the assembly premises on Thursday between Telangana Congress leaders and TDP leader Revanth Reddy. Kodangal MLA who went to assembly for attending the TDLP meeting, was embraced by TPCC leaders with warm hugs.

The Congress party leaders who came to the assembly for the TCLP eagerly welcomed Revanth, who was snubbed by his own partymen.

The TTDP President L Ramana sent a message ordering Revanth to give up on his responsibilities as TDLP leader and TDP working President and act as an MLA. Revanth cancelled his TDLP meeting, took his files and computer from the assembly office and walked away.

The Kodangal leader said that the circumstances are being conscripted to create internal conflicts in the TTDP. He made it clear that he is not against anyone except Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

He said that he is feeling sad at the state of T-TDP cadre. Revanth said that the latest developments in the yellow party is like doing abhishekam to Chief Minister of Telangana with milk.

Why Revanth Reddy is a trump card

0

The man in the news of Telugu states’ politics is Anumula Revanth Reddy. The 47-year-old Telugu Desam Party leader who had grabbed a lot of media attention earlier was on May 31, 2015 when the Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested him following a sting operation on his alleged attempt to bribe a nominated MLA, Elvis Stephenson, to vote in favour of a TDP candidate in the Legislative Council poll.

The charges against him were serious and sensational. A criminal case had been filed against him, along with two others, and after a few days of judicial custody, Revanth got conditional bail from the High Court on June 30, 2015. Though it has remained a black mark on his high political career, it has neither diminished his stature nor fiery public speaking.

As the working president of Telangana TDP and the floor leader of that party in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly, Revanth has pushed the sordid episode under the carpet and continued to play a role what his mentor Chandrababu Naidu expected of him in the Assembly and on public platforms.

What happened to the bribe case, nobody knows, at least the public. After creating a stir two years ago when the rivalry between the two chief ministers of the Telugu states is at its peak, the story died a natural death. But the scandal seems to have ended the turf war between TDP and TRS with an unwritten gentleman’s agreement.

Now, Revanth has catapulted himself on to the centre stage of Telugu politics by hobnobbing with Congress leaders. His broad hints of switching side have been bringing broad smiles to state Congress leaders and they are going extra mile to welcome him into their party fold in the presence of none other than Rahul Gandhi.

While Revanth’s political gestures and manoeuvres have elated some Telangana Congress leaders who are looking for a face that could revive a moribund party, the old guard is not too happy for obvious reasons. They think that one-time blue eyed boy of Chandrababu Naidu would dump them, given a chance, and could easily worm his way into the hearts of Congress central command.

At the same time, TDP is squirming and mulling over options to save its face. Since Revanth has not officially quit TDP, the party has to weigh its options carefully before calling for action. It is also possible that he may be testing political waters before deciding on his next move. Either way, it’s a major setback for TDP and its supremo Chandrababu who has firmly stood by Revanth, at the cost of alienating some party loyalists, during his trials and tribulations.

However, the one million dollar question is: Why Revanth wants to cross the river? Political pundits see a long-term strategy, which can be real or fictitious. Of late, there is discontentment in the Telugu Reddy community which sees political domination by other castes in the two states. If the situation is allowed to continue at current pace, Reddys will be nowhere. So, they want to regain the community’s political power in the 2019 Assembly polls.

The groundwork is being prepared now with an eye on the next elections. The Congress, left abandoned in the Telugu states after bifurcation, has found an ally in the Reddy community and wants to take advantage of their frustration in the next poll. Who can be a better face than Revanth Reddy’s to project him as the young dynamic leader of Congress in the region? Apparently, YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy too has factored in the Reddy issue before chalking out his poll strategy.

Telugu Desam will be the obvious loser if analysts prove right. But more worry for the TDP brass should be if Revanth Reddy starts opening cupboards to let skeletons tumble out.

Hullabaloo around Revanth Reddy’s defection protracts

0

Hullabaloo around defection of T-TDP working President Revanth Reddy is exasperating. T-TDP president L Ramana reportedly penned a letter to Chandrababu Naidu requesting him to remove Kodangal MLA from the posts of T-TDP’s Working President and T-TDLP Floor Leader.

Meanwhile, Revanth announced that TDLP meeting will be convened on Thursday in Assembly around 11:00am. He invited Ramana and all the prominent leaders from the party. On the contrary Ramana ordered Revanth to restrain from organizing any party or TDLP programmes. Furthermore, he would be attending a meeting with important leaders of TDP and BJP MLAs tomorrow at 3:00pm.

This war of words and inconsistent meetings hopefully, will be put to rest once the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu returns from his tour.

Kodangal MLA’s Dangal : TDP’s nagging attitude raises questions on integrity

0

The T-TDP Leadership nagging attitude towards Revanth Reddy episode is reprehensible. They thrice in the past three days. All they have to say is Chandrababu Naidu expressed anger over the situation and asked leaders to be composed and patient. These meetings conclude by saying that once Chandrababu returns from abroad intelligibility will be established. One of the leader said that the TDP supremo gave him right to take disciplinary action, which of course will be delayed.

The questions however remain unanswered- On what topic Chandrababu will clear the air? On whom is he venting ire for unruliness? What is his take on Revanth Reddy episode?

The TDP leaders are have to establish answers to these questions. Responding to issues from abroad is not a big problem in 21st century at least. It is evident that this topic is being prolonged deliberately.

Revanth also said that he would speak to Chandrababu and only announced future course of action. However, certainly Revanth would turn the tables around and make the situations favorable for him, because if he discloses his agenda now, the Kodangal MLA will not be able to meet the TDP supremo. Moreover, his defection would have negative impact if he attends the soon to commence assembly sessions as Telugu Desam Legislative Party leader.

While Revanth did not announce his defection directly, the ongoing events are clear signal that he would be joining the grand old party in first week of November.

Nonetheless if Revanth backtracks on his defection after so many speculations, he will lose credibility with people. Likewise, if the party continues to give time to Revanth and keeps him in the party, TDP which is almost nonexistent in Telangana will lose integrity.

Payyavula Retaliates! says Revanth tried to work with KCR’s daughter

1

Telugu Desam leader Payyavula Keshav made controversial remarks on Revanth Reddy following allegations against him. He said that Revanth tried to register a company along with Nizambad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha Rao. But the party’s leaders were against this so he backtracked on the idea. He said that the party is aware of Revanth association with opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and supporting his media house.

Payyavula further claims to have six months’ data related to Revanth’s trips to Delhi. He said that the Kodangal MLA will put friendship at stake for fulfilling his personal agenda. Noting that Revanth’s comments caused him distressed, the AP MLC claimed to be a TDP soldier who striving for the party from past 25years.

He says they own a bar worth 2crore rupees while Revanth wrongly accussed them of owning a Rs500 crore worth beer company.

Chandrababu takes a stock of Revanth’s episode

0

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who is enduring a foreign tour, took a stock of the political situation in Telangana TDP, following the reports of A Revanth Reddy’s defection into Congress.

Minister IT&C Nara Lokesh who is closely reviewing the situation reportedly conveyed the information to the party supremo. Naidu spoke to T-TDP leader L Ramana on Sunday.

Ramana not only detailed the Revanth episode but also allegedly gave the names of leaders who might defect along with the TDP working president. Chandrababu reportedly instructed the TDP leaders to avoid making comments in haste and wait until he returns from his tour.

However, Revanth left the party leaders and people puzzled about his political moves and condemned all the reports about him. He said that he would speak to Chandrababu before disclosing his political ambitions.

Revanth Defection, Advantage Motkupalli ?

0

Senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, has severely criticized Revanth Reddy following the news of his defection into Congress party.

He said that the Kodangal MLA leaving TDP would not cause any damage to the party and it would rather be stronger than ever. Motkupalli raised the Cash for Vote issue and said that Revanth was caught red handed on the cameras. He noted that the TDP working president who is being termed as ‘star campaigner’ couldn’t even win GHMC elections. He accused Revanth of endorsing blackmailing politics and cheating Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

This outburst on Friday raised several eyebrows. It may be recalled that Motkupalli was lured for Governor’s post but was shown the doors by the Narendra Modi government. Chandrababu is in a spot to secure a crucial post in the party to satisfy the senior leader.

With the recent rapport of AP TDP leaders with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Paritala Sriram’s wedding, Motkupalli is allegedly planning to knock the doors of TRS.

Motkupalli is apparently planning to get a Rajya Sabha seat which wouldn’t be possible if TDP follows Revanth’s strategy of uniting opposition parties against TRS. He reportedly said that TDP will unite with TRS or BJP but not Congress. With the Velkam tactics being divulged, TRS might as well go along with TDP for its own benefit.

Taking into consideration Motkupalli’s strategy and AP Ministers’ businesses, it will be suffocating for Revanth to survive. Consequently Chandrababu might initially vent ire on the T-TDP leaders behavior but will let off Revanth from the party.
