Young Rebelstar Prabhas started shooting for his next film titled Saaho and the shoot of the film has been going on snail pace. The makers planned a month long Dubai schedule which has been delayed as they could not acquire the required permissions for the film’s shoot. A 20-minutes long action episode has been planned to be shot at Burj Khalifa, World Trade Centre and Etihad Towers. The schedule has been postponed several times and the makers finally got a positive nod.

Now the team of Saaho is sweating out in Dubai and Hollywood stunt choreographer Kenny Bates is supervising the stunts. This action episode is crucial and is the major highlight of Saaho. The shoot of Saaho will continue in Dubai till the end of this month. Sujeeth is the director of Saaho and Prabhas’s stylish look already created ripples. Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead while UV Creations is bankrolling Saaho. The film will release some time during 2019.

At the time when he was shooting for SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Prabhas committed to work with young directors Sujeeth and Radha Krishna. While Sujeeth’s Saaho is currently on floors, his film with Radha Krishna is going to be launched very soon.

Saaho was initially supposed to hit the screens in 2018. But, the extensive production phase and the delay in key shooting schedules are likely to push its release to mid next year. So, Prabhas is planning to release Radha Krishna’s film before Saaho.

It is heard that he will simultaneously shoot for both films and the shooting formalities of Radha Krishna’s film will be wrapped up in quick time as the makers are aiming for Sankranthi next year.

Pooja Hegde has been finalized as the film’s leading lady and it is going to be a pure romantic entertainer.

It is well known that Prabhas’ upcoming multilingual film Saaho features a bunch of Bollywood actors. While Neil Nitin Mukesh and Shraddha Kapoor are going to be seen in lead roles along with Prabhas, noted artists like Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff and few others are reportedly playing prominent roles in this big budget entertainer.

Speaking to a leading news magazine, Mandira Bedi revealed that she is essaying the role of a lady gangster in the film. The 45 year old actor didn’t reveal much about her character, but said that it demands daring stunt sequences for which she has been training very hard.

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is set to be shot in the rich locales of Dubai and Romania in its next schedule which will commence in the third week of March.

The regular shooting of Prabhas’ Saaho, which commenced last year, is progressing at a snail pace. The extensive work shop by the production team and Prabhas’ special training in Los Angeles for the upcoming Dubai schedule have delayed the film’s shoot by more than a month.

Finally, the team is ready to commence its Dubai sojourn shortly. The two month long schedule is going to commence in Mid March and some high octane action episodes will be shot on a grand scale in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Romania. The team is likely to leave for Dubai in a few more days. Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh will take part in shoot during this extensive schedule.

Directed by Sujeeth, the film features Prabhas in a never seen lean and stylish look for the film. The makers have been in plans to shoot two high voltage action episodes across some exclusive locales of Abu Dhabi. The schedule has been planned in November but the shoot has been delayed as some of the permissions have been rejected.

With nothing much to do, the makers started the next schedule in Hyderabad which has been wrapped up on Saturday. All the necessary schedules for the Dubai schedule have now been acquired and the lavish 60 days long schedule will commence from February 25th. Prabhas and his team will shoot across various locations including Burj Khalifa which is said to be the tallest structure of the world. Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor is the female lead and UV Creations are the producers.

Actress Shraddha Kapoor, who was present at the inauguration of “The Wedding Junction Show” here on Saturday, said working with actor Prabhas in “Saaho” has been a great opportunity for her.

After “Haseena Parkar” in 2017 Shraddha’s upcoming projects is bilingual film “Saaho” with Prabhas and newly announced Hindi release “Stree”.

Talking about “Saaho”, Shraddha said: “I am definitely excited to be able to work with Prabhas. It’s the first time I am shooting for a Hindi and Telugu bilingual film. It will also be dubbed in other languages. This is a great opportunity for me.”

Shraddha and Rajkumar Rao-starrer “Stree” is currently on floors, and the actress is very excited for the same. “This is the first time, I will be part of a horror-comedy film, and that makes it even more exciting.”

Prabhas To Shake Leg For Saaho

Rebel Star Prabahs has finished his new year holidays and is back to Hyderabad a few days back. As per official reports filming of the trilingual movie, Saaho is going to resume from tomorrow in Hyderabad city. According to direction department, heroine Shardha Kapoor is going to fly back from Mumbai for Saaho shooting where a couple of songs are going to be filmed from tomorrow between lead pairs.

Along with songs, few important scenes are going to be filmed with key actors and antagonist Neil Nitin Mukesh is also going to participate in Hyderabad schedule. Actually, Saaho was scheduled to carry out it’s shooting near Burj Khalifa in Dubai but due to unknown reasons permissions were not allocated till now.

As the Dubai schedule is taking more than expected time, Saaho team has decided to carry out their Hyderabad shooting schedule from tomorrow. Sources informed that after finishing Hyderabad schedule Saaho team is going back to Dubai for the filming of action episodes. Keep watching the space for more updates.

A close source to the actor revealed that he will return to India in the next week and will straightaway join the sets of Saaho in Hyderabad.

Prabhas took intense training under the guidance of specialists for various physical activities which might help him in shooting for several chase sequences that will canned in Dubai in the coming days. He will shoot in Hyderabad for four weeks before moving to Dubai for a long schedule in which a major part of the action block will be shot.

After canning some crucial episodes, the unit will head to Dubai for a 75 days schedule in which majority of the talkie part will be wrapped up.

Saaho No release in 2018 ?

Due to unknown reasons, this schedule is getting delayed and this is likely to impact the release plans. Also, it is learnt that all the Bollywood artists involved in the film are busy with other commitments which is also one of the reasons why the shoot is not happening in full flow.

There were reports that Saaho might hit the screens for Dusheera 2018. But, with the shooting getting delayed very frequently and the fact that the post production activities need considerable time because of the high range VFX effects and other technical values, the film has a little chance to release in 2018.

So, it remains to be seen if Saaho team can make up for the delay and wrap up the film in time or it gets pushed to 2019.

As this is Prabhas’ immediate film after the mighty Baahubali franchise, which stormed the worldwide box office with unprecedented revenues, expectations are sky high among audience and trade circles. UV Creations, the production unit, is shelling out an astronomical budget for Saaho, which is a Non – Baahubali highest budgeted film.

Even before the shoot is half done, Saaho is inviting huge offers for its producers. According to the latest reports, UV Creations got an offer in the range of 210 Crores for Tamil and Hindi version theatrical rights and the satellite rights. This is a staggering offer considering the budget is earmarked at 200 Crores. As the AP/TG offers are valued around 90-100 Crores, the production house is likely to make a fortune with the film’s pre release business.

Unless the budget shoots up dramatically, UV Creations will easily takeaway huge profits with Saaho. Also, there is a risk for the production house : if the film gets delayed further, Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali’ craze might diminish as days progress which in turn impacts the pre release business to some extent.

So, the risk and the reward with Saaho are in equal proportions for UV Creations.
