Sai Dharam Tej’s career is in a spot of bother due to a string consecutive flops. All his recent films ended as embarrassing box office duds putting him in deep contemplation on what film should he do next.

He has already signed a film each in Gopichand Malineni direction and Kishore Tirumala’s direction. Both these films are likely to be delayed as Tej is now heading to US for a striking makeover. Reportedly, the Supreme actor wants to cut down his weight and go for a complete transformation for his next films.

Tej will rigorously workout under the supervision of an expert trainer to get the desired look.

After delivering consecutive hits at the beginning of his career, Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej set sights on emerging as one of the bankable commercial heroes of present generation. Thereafter, his success graph took a beating with huge debacles back to back.

Films like Thikka, Nakshatram and Intelligent left no trace at box office putting Sai in the doldrums. He pinned all hopes on Karunakaran’s Tej I Love U which released this week. The film opened to very poor reports all over. Trade circles reckon that the film is likely to end as a disaster at box office which will make a double hat-trick of flops for Sai leaving his career in dire straits.

With back to back debacles in a span of two years, the Supreme actor is left with one last hope in the form of Kishore Tirumala’s Chitralahari which is likely to go on floors later this year.

As successful production house Mythri Movie Makers is behind this project, trade circles and audience will be expecting a minimum guarantee output in this combination. Also, this will be a make or break film for Sai Dharam Tej as he hasn’t got any other big projects in his kitty for now.

The energetic mega hero Sai Dharam Tej got his first ever break as a hero with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. That film incidentally is from Geetha Arts and also established himself and Regina Cassandra as a hit pair. But after this film, Sai Dharam Tej didn’t team up with this established banner again. But now, the sources say he will be doing a film with them next.

As of now,the search for the ideal director is happening and in all probability, Venky Kudumula will be directing the flick. This young director has proved his mettle with Naga Shourya’s Chalo which was a sleeper hit this year. Another name heard forthis project is Sreekanth Addala who narrated a story to Sharwanand recently. If Sharwa gives a thumbs down to the project, it will shift to this anticipated Geetha Arts project instead.

Sai Dharam Tej is currently filming for Tej I Love You and this Geetha Arts project is also effectively lined up next.

Like his earlier films which dealt with human relationships, Kishore Tirumala’s next too—‘Chitralahari’– will be treading a similar path. This time around, his spotlight would be on father-son relationship, we’ve learnt.

“The script has come out extremely well and dialogues will be a major asset to the movie. Although the focus would be on the relationship between father-son, the film, like the director’s earlier endeavours, will have a nice love story too. Kishore was criticized for the way he went about the second half of ‘Vunnadi Okate Zindagi’ despite the beautiful first half and he took his time to ensure that the same isn’t repeated with ‘Chitralahari’. The production house Mythri Movie Makers is extremely pleased with the script,” said a source.

In the film, Sai Dharam Tej will be playing the male lead, while Anupama Parameswaran is on board to romance him. It will roll shortly.

The Supreme actor teamed up with romantic entertainers specialist director Karunakaran for a romedy titled as Tej I Love You. Anupama Parameshwaran is play the leading lady in the film.

The present schedule of Tej I Love You is happening in the exotic locales of Paris. A duet between the lead pair is being shot in this schedule.

The recently released teaser has received a good response from audience. The film is slated for release in June.

Announcing the film’s title as ‘ Tej I Love You’, the makers have unveiled a breezy first look poster which has Sai Dharam Tej staring romantically at Anupama.

Karunakaran has the habit of narrating pleasant and heartwarming love stories that appeal well to younger generation audience. He seems to have readied a similar story again with ‘Tej I love you’.

The first teaser of the film will be out on May 1st. Gopi Sundar is the film’s composer. Darling Swamy is penning the dialogues.
