Sharwanand is one of the non-controversial actors of Telugu cinema. The entire Tollywood was left in shock after the actor slapped legal notices to his producers 14 Reels Plus. After the news broke out, there are several stories cooked around the issue. The producers offered post-dated cheques and the actor deposited them after repeated calls. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta never responded to Sharwa’s calls after the film’s release. Sharwanand feels that he was cheated as they failed to honour their promise.

Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta have a different version to say. They say that the project got delayed after Sharwanand flew to USA without completing the film’s shoot. They suffered losses through the project because of the delay in the shoot and due to the bad theatrical run. But close sources to Sharwanand said that the makers made decent profits even before the film’s release and they did not settle the payment after the release. There are two completely different arguments coming out after the controversy saw light. We have to wait to see if the issue will be settled outside the court or if turns bigger.

Sharwanand is one of the most promising actors of Telugu cinema. After a series of duds, his recent offering Sreekaram received a positive response but the collections are not encouraging. Going with the trend, Sreekaram will fall short of reaching the breakeven zone in its final run. The family crowds loved the film but Sreekaram is lagging behind in the post-release promotions. Sharwanand is not spotted anywhere around as the first weekend is quite crucial for any film. Jathi Ratnalu is dominating the box-office and at this time, Sharwanand should have stepped out to promote Sreekaram aggressively so that the film would reach widely.

Sreekaram is a feel-good film and a social drama that narrates the importance of farming and farmers in this modern world. The second half is quite emotional and the dialogues are good. Kishore directed the film and Sharwanand, Priyanka Mohan played the lead roles. 14 Reels Plus are the producers. Sharwanand is busy with Maha Samudram that will release in August. Its high time for the actor to focus much on the post-release promotions for his upcoming projects.

Young Hero Sharwanand’s Sreekaram is getting support from all quarters as it nears the release tomorrow. After the support of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Minister KTR, it is the turn of Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Mega Powerstar Ram Charan. They took to social media to send their best wishes to the team for tomorrow.

“For Sharwanand, my brother! All the best…Watched a sneak peek of #Sreekaram and I loved it. Best wishes to the entire team,” Prabhas posted on his Facebook page.

“It’s brave of Sharwa to take such a noble thought to the masses. #Sreekaram is a perfect blend of all emotions backed by heartwarming performances. It’s a must-watch film for everyone with their friends & family,” Ram Charan posted on Twitter.

Sreekaram carries a good message about the importance of Agriculture. It is a subject that is too relevant to our times when farmers are shying away from getting their sons into their own noble profession. The movie with such a noble message definitely deserves the support it is getting.

Sreekaram is a film on farmers and it narrates the problems faced by farmers and the modern techniques that are introduced in farming. The trailer and the songs are promising and Telangana Minister KTR attended the pre-release event as Chief Guest. He appreciated the efforts of the entire team of Sreekaram. Talented director Harish Shankar during the event requested KTR to consider tax exemption for Sreekaram as the farmers and their welfare are on top priority for the Telangana government.

KTR promised that he would consider tax exemption but he said that the time to take the call is too little. It would be good if the government of Telangana considers offering tax exemption for films like Sreekaram as there would be more attempts in the future in Telugu cinema. Sreekaram is directed by B Kishore and Sharwanand, Priyanka Arul Mohan played the lead roles. 14 Reels Plus are the producers and the film releases tomorrow.

Sharwanand’s wholesome family entertainer Sreekaram directed by Kishor B will be hitting the screens on March 11th for Maha Shivaratri. On the occasion of Sharwanand’s birthday, a press meet is conducted in Hyderabad that was attended by the core team.

Sharwanand said, “As said by Sai Madhav Butrra, it’s my responsibility to do films like Sreekaram. We rarely get such stories. Before doing this film, I didn’t know much about farming. I emotionally connected with the story and the film. We definitely made a wonderful film. I feel proud to do the film.”

Sharwa says he got call from his close friend Ram Charan after the release of trailer. “I got first call from my dear friend Charan, after the release of Sreekaram. He loved the trailer so much so that, he asked me whether he can do anything for the film. Then, we cut a five minute video to Chiranjeevi gaaru and he immediately told us to attend Sreekaram pre-release function on 8th in Khammam. KTR garu too accepted to grace another event on 9th in Hyderabad. We are truly happy that youth inspiring leaders like Chiranjeevi and KTR are coming forward to support our film.”

Sharwanand’s rural drama Sreekaram will have theatrical release for sure and the makers too released a poster to announce the date of the film’s arrival to theatres. Sreekaram, as we can see in the poster, will hit the screens on March 11th for Maha Shivaratri.

There were reports that, Sreekaram would release in an OTT platform. But, the makers have now condemned the reports with the poster. Priyanka Arul Mohan will be seen romancing Sharwa in the film that marks directorial debut of Kishore B.
