1

Shraddha Das has hit back at those trolling her for complimenting Telugu anchor and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj on her looks, saying that it was pointless for them to troll her as she would only be blocking their accounts and deleting their tweets.

Replying to trolls, Shraddha tweeted, “Guys, you will waste your time and energy abusing me, I only block and delete. So pointless. It’s senseless for you to troll me for complimenting Anasuya Bharadwaj on her looks! Get well soon!”

The actress has come under attack from trolls for expressing solidarity with actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, who had warned those age-shaming her on social media that she would be retweeting every abuse to show as proof what happens to a woman who stands her ground for her respect.

Anasuya Bharadwaj had also said that she would be taking a screenshot of every account abusing her and filing a case against them.

Shraddha had complimented Anasuya saying, “You look younger than most women even half your age, stunning I would say! And hotter than most uncles double your age. Fan of you.”

Anasuya had thanked Shraddha and replied, “Thank you gorgeous for being so kind and venerous with these words. Much love! #WomenUpliftingwomen #BlessedAndGrateful #StrongerTogether.”

Shraddha Das responds on Bigg Boss 3 entry and the stories around her

0

From a long time, there are rumours mushrooming every day that Shraddha Das is the most possible wild card entry into Bigg Boss 3, Telgu reality show. This rumour got busted twice, as Tamanna Simhadri entered as wildcard contestant earlier, and anchor Shilpa Chakravarthy now.

There was a buzz that Shraddha has demanded way too high to participate in the show, and also want to enter the house only if Varun Sandesh got eliminated because he happens to be his ex-flame. Talking about the same, she gave three reasons including that she’s not approached, some third person could not affect her decision

“Firstly, I haven’t been approached for it, secondly my decision to do something or not do something is ‘ONLY’ based on my comfort, interest, benefit, image and availability, ‘NOT’ based on a person. Thirdly I am working in almost five different language industries simultaneously and not doing films in particular language means I’m not sitting idle” said Shraddha, in a statement.

Well, these ambiguous statements from the heroine clarified that she got hurt with Varun Sandesh’s angle and also that she’s sitting idle as there is no work in Telugu films for her.

Journalism lessons came handy for ‘…Garuda Vega’: Shraddha Das

Actress Shraddha Das says her journalism lessons in college helped her play her part of a news reporter with ease and to perfection in the upcoming Telugu action drama “PSV Garuda Vega”.

After playing a gangster in Praveen Sattaru’s “Guntur Talkies”, Shraddha is kicked about playing a reporter in his upcoming directorial “PSV Garuda Vega”.

“I had studied broadcast journalism in college. The experience came in handy while playing a reporter in the film. It wasn’t an entirely new space for me as I was well aware of the lifestyle of a reporter, how they talk and conduct themselves,” Shraddha told IANS.

Recalling the experience of playing a “sophisticated and intelligent reporter called Malini”, she said picking up chaste Telugu to play her part was not easy.

“When I auditioned, Praveen gave me two huge monologues with lines in chaste Telugu. I’m quite comfortable with the language but to mouth lines in pure Telugu was tough. Reporters don’t use the colloquial language and their Telugu has heavy influence of Sanskrit,” she said.

She has scenes in the newsroom and on ground as well.

Her character is very important from the story’s perspective and that’s what got her excited.

On teaming up with Praveen for the second time in a row, Shraddha said they bonded as “professionals”.

“Our highly professional attitude towards what we do helped us click. Irrespective of the character I play, I do my homework and come to the sets. Praveen likes that kind of commitment. To play a reporter, I prepared myself for over a month,” she said.

The film, produced on a lavish budget of Rs 25 crore, also stars Rajasekhar, Pooja Kumar and Adith.
