South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) turned out to be a prestigious filmy event that is celebrated by all the South Indian stars. The event is being celebrated abroad in a grand manner and lot of celebrities too have been making their presence taking breaks from their busy schedules. Several celebrities are being paid a bomb to perform live during the event. This year SIIMA Awards event took place in Dubai. The show turned out to be a disappointment as no top Telugu actor except Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rana Daggubati made their presence.

Chiranjeevi, Prabhas and Vijay Devarakonda received invitations but they called it a skip because of their busy schedules. The management tried hard to convince Superstar Mahesh Babu but they failed to do so. Though none of the top Tollywood actors made it for the event, SIIMA managed to rake huge money through the sponsorships. SIIMA pocketed a profit of Rs 5 crores this year despite of no stars making it to the event. SIIMA also hosted a grand party for all the celebrities who attended the award event.

Celebrities from South India are currently gearing up for South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), which rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the south Indian film industry. This year, SIIMA will take place in Dubai on September 14 and 15. According to reliable information below TAMIL films , actors, technicians won the prestigious awards for this year.
