Deodhar on way out: Upset Veerraju shows rebellious streak?

1

Is the BJP national leadership planning to replace party affairs co-convener for Andhra Pradesh Sunil Deodhar? There is a talk within the BJP that the party leadership at the national level is not happy with Sunil Deodhar’s work. At the same time, there are reports that he would be shifted from Andhra Pradesh.

Highly placed sources say that Sunil Deodhar’s tours in the state are a big problem for the party workers. He has several demands and food preferences that the workers have to meet. He always tours with his team of five to six people. Making arrangements for Deodhar and his team are a problem for small-time party workers. To add to it, he has of late been targeting the party leaders who have joined the BJP from the TDP. He is accusing them of using the BJP as a temporary parking place.

All these have not gone down well with several leaders, who lodged complaints against Sunil Deodhar. The party too is said to have taken a serious view of all these developments and is said to be planning to shift him to some other state. Party state president Somu Veerraju, who has a close functional relation with Sunil Deodhar, is said to be upset at this move to shift Deodhar from AP.

Somu Veerraju’s recent comments that he would quit politics after 2024 are being seen as threats to the national leadership. These are being bandied as threats that he and his faction would leave the party if it touches Sunil Deodhar. But, will the party’s national leadership bend to the threats brandished by Somu Veerraju?

BJP will end YSRCP’s ‘rowdyism’ in Andhra: Sunil Deodhar

4

Giving examples of states where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had defeated other ruling regional parties across India, the party’s national secretary and state co-incharge Sunil Deodhar claimed on Wednesday that the party will end the alleged ‘rowdyism’ of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)as well.

“We finished goonda raj of SP – BSP in UP. With Nitish, we finished brutal raj of Lalu in Bihar. We uprooted CPIM’s 25 years mafia raj from Tripura. On 2nd May, we will finish goons rule in WB. In AP too, I am sure that we only can fight and end rowdyism of YSRCP,” said Deodhar.

Referring to the YSRCP and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) as family enterprise parties, Deodhar claimed he had exposed their alleged frauds.

“Only BJP – JSP (Janasena) can fight this mafia raj of ruling YSRCP,” he claimed.

Meanwhile, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP G. V. L. Narasimha Rao claimed that people in the Tirupati bypoll will choose between a candidate who served Reddy and the party’s candidate Ratna Prabha who served people with distinction.

However, depriving the state of the special category status, selling away Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, skyrocketing fuel prices and resorting to religious politics may not be very helpful to the BJP in the southern state.

Andhra BJP warns of agitation, demands probe into temple ‘desecrations’

9

BJP national Secretary Sunil Deodhar on Tuesday threatened protests across Andhra Pradesh by the party until Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered a CID probe into all alleged temple vandalism cases in the state.

“The BJP and Jana Sena Party are not going to stop here; we are going ahead with our statewide agitation until and unless you (CM) order a CID probe for all incidents targeting the Hindus in the state,” said the Andhra Pradesh BJP co-incharge.

He also demanded that all devotees must be allowed to visit the Ramateertham temple in Vizianagaram where an idol of Lord Ram was desecrated and thrown in a nearby pond by some unknown miscreants.

He made this demand in the light of detention of scores of BJP leaders and activists who tried to proceed to Ramateertham.

“The Andhra CM has ordered a CID probe into the shameful Ramateertham incident. Was he sleeping for the last seven days? He ordered a CID probe only after a hue and cry of Hindus,” observed the senior BJP leader.

Deodhar demanded to know why a CID probe was ordered only in the Ramateertham incident and not Pithapuram and Antarvedi incidents and other such cases.

In the Antarvedi incident, the government had already handed over the probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

He claimed that while Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijaysai Reddy were allowed to proceed to Ramateertham, Andhra BJP President Somu Veerraju was restrained and manhandled.

“You manhandle Somu Veerraju and Jana Sena leaders and arrest them. Hundreds of BJP and Jana Sena leaders are under house arrest across the state,” claimed Deodhar.

Deodhar’s surprise attack on Jagan over Bhumana letter

1

BJP AP incharge Sunil Deodhar launched a surprise attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He asked AP CM not to continue his double standards and demanded immediate action against YCP MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. Deodhar’s anger was about Bhumana writing a letter to Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu for the release of civil liberties leader Varavara Rao.

Deodhar asked how CM Jagan Reddy was showing his photos taken with Prime Minister Modi on the one hand and supporting MLAs like Bhumana who was trying for the release of ‘Naxalite Varavara Rao’ who was behind an assassination conspiracy against PM’s life. Was this not a practice of double standards on the part of Jagan Reddy?
Sunil Deodhar has also posted the letter written by Bhumana in his twitter comment. The YCP MLA has asked for relief to Varavara Rao considering his failing health and advancing age. The MLA has said that Varavara Rao was not even able to walk normally and that he was just an ideological supporter.

Interestingly, the BJP AP top leaders have not raised their voice yet on this issue. Undoubtedly, the ruling YCP leaders were shocked over the sudden turn of events.

Purge corruption within your party: Sunil Deodhar to Jagan

TDP president and former chief minister N Chanddrababu Naidu often launched a broadside against the Jagan government alleging that YSRCP leaders indulged in massive scams spanning from sand, land, wine, mine, Coronavirus kits, bleaching powder and cement. The former CM demanded that the government order a CBI probe into the sand scam.

The new sand policy adopted by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has not just kicked up a storm in the Opposition, it raised a storm of dust within the YSRCP. Now, the sand scam has caught the attention of even BJP national leaders.

BJP national secretary Sunil Deodhar on Saturday stated that the YSRCP ruling instead of targeting the Opposition, the Andhra Pradesh government would do a better service to people if it ordered investigations into the unchecked corruption by the YSRCP party.

Taking to Twitter, the BJP leader and in-charge of Tripura party affairs, he said, “YSRCP came to power by accusing TDP over corruption but the situation is unchanged. BJP raised many corruption issues including that in sand. Now, CM should act against all those in his govt who’re facing corruption allegations.”

Welcoming the arrest of TDP MLA and former labour minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu in the alleged ESI scam, he tweeted, “BJP has been demanding stringent action against corruption against TDP regime. However, YSRCP govt can’t use these arrests to cover up corruption allegations against it.”

In the past, the YSRCP leaders openly criticised the Jagan government over the scarcity of sand, sand mining, and its supply. While Naidu Naidu often made a scathing attack on the ruling YSRCP saying the government had created artificial sand scarcity during the last five months, which had adversely affected the livelihood of those who relied on the construction sector, Vinukonda YSRCP MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu recently dropped a bombshell on the ruling dispensation saying the sand mafia is operating rampantly in Andhra Pradesh.

Another YSRCP MLA Kileru Rosaiah bemoaned that the sand was not reaching stock points, while Kothapet YSRCP legislator Jaggi Reddy slammed the APMDC saying the nodal agency had failed to take steps to ensure transparency in sales and transportation of sand. The YSRCP leaders seem to have raised genuine concerns over the sale of sand, something that Naidu always pointed out.

It remains to be seen if Jagan will look into his own backyard and order a CBI investigation into the alleged land scam.

No alliance of any sort with TDP or YSRCP: BJP in-charge Sunil Deodhar

0

Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party formally announced today that it has decided to ally with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Andhra Pradesh. After a long discussion, Janasena and BJP leaders convened press meet and announced their alliance. It is known news that Pawan Kalyan recently met JP Nadda, the working president of the party at the national level, and had a series of discussions. In fact, BJP and Janasena discussions started during TANA meetings itself when Ram Madhav and Pawan Kalyan had a secret meeting in the US.

Janasena is BJP ally for lifetime: Sunil Deodhar

Pawan Kalyan said today, “BJP and JSP will work together to come to power in 2024 in Andhra Pradesh. We will work for the people of the state together. ” However, more than Pawan’s statements, the statements of BJP leaders came as surprise for political analysts today. Sunil Deodhar, BJP in-charge, categorically dismissed any sort of alliance with TDP or YSRCP. He made it clear that BJP has no alliance or understanding with TDP or YSRCP, not even secret understanding or behind the veil agreements. He reiterated that Janasena is the only alliance for BJP in Andhra Pradesh. He told, Janasena is their ally for a lifetime.

No alliance or understanding with TDP or YSRCP

Not only Sunil Deodhar, but even other leaders of BJP also clarified on the same. Leaders like GVL Narsimha Rao, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and others raised this topic and explicitly confirmed that BJP and Janasena will face 2024 elections together and expressed the confidence that they will form the government. Kanna went on to say that the doors have been shut for tdp into this alliance. It is known news that there has been some news about the possibility of joining the BJP- Janasena alliance and repeating 2014. Even the TDP cadres are hopeful of such alliance in future.

Also, some YSRCP leaders have been conveying that their party has a close relationship with the ruling party at the centre. But, the latest statement of BJP leaders seems to be causing concern for the fans of Jagan, given the fact that, he is still attending the court every Friday on the disproportionate assets case. Moreover, Jagan’s government has to be extremely cautious now as the party ruling the centre is on the side of their enemy.

We will have to wait and see how the BJP Janasena alliance will make their mark in AP politics.

CBN will be in jail soon: BJP’s Sunil Deodhar sensational comments

0

Is BJP targeting to send Chandra Babu Naidu, former CM of AP, to jail soon? Is it planning to forcibly merge TDP into BJP? Are more than 2/3rd of TDP MLAs are in touch with BJP high command? The answer seems to be yes for all these questions if you go by the comments of Sunil Deodhar, BJP national secretary and co-in charge of Andhra Pradesh. Details as below.

It is known news that BJP is targeting TDP badly and planning to eliminate the party from the political landscape of the state so that BJP can occupy the vacuum thus created. BJP has already joined TDP MPs from Rajya Sabha into their party. Now TDP has 23 MLAs in the assembly and if more than 2/3rd of them, i.e. more than 15 MLAs join BJP, anti-defection law will not be applied. In the wake of current developments in this direction, Sunil Deodar made some sensational comments today. He told that even TDP MLAs are already aware of CBN will be sent to jail soon and so, TDP MLAs themselves are approaching BJP. He also added that the TDP has no future in the state due to Naidu’s acts of corruption and misdeeds. He also told that BJP is keen on expanding their base in AP by joining at least 1 lakh new members into the party per Lok Sabha constituency.

We will have to wait and see if Sunil’s comments are really true or they are part of mind game being played by BJP to weaken TDP.
